BTS’ ‘Butter’ sets a new ‘Dynamite’ record by becoming the fastest music video on YouTube to reach 200 million views.

‘Butter,’ by BTS, is on its way to becoming a classic. In the first week of its release, the song that is the summer’s hottest flavour has reached a new milestone.

The song, which was released last Friday, is now the fastest music video to reach 200 million views on YouTube. In just four days, the band reached a new milestone. RM, V, Jin, J-Hope, SUGA, JungKook, and Jimin have broken the record they set with ‘Dynamite,’ which reportedly took 4.5 days to complete.

The band had gotten off to a great start. The guys shattered three records in the first hour of their release, all of which were previously held by ‘Dynamite.’ Their new single, ‘Butter,’ had the largest YouTube Premiere of all time, with 3.89 million people tuning in to witness the song debut live. They also set the record for the fastest music video to reach 10 million views on YouTube, which they did in just 13 minutes.

It also broke the record for the fastest music video to reach 20 million views on YouTube. They got the views in 54 minutes, far faster than the previous record of 1 hour and 14 minutes set by ‘Dynamite.’ 

In addition, ‘Butter’ holds the record for the most views in a 24-hour period. Within a single day, the song had amassed an amazing 113 million views. 

Following the release of ‘Dynamite’ in August of last year, this is the second English single. 

The boys performed the song LIVE for the first time on the Billboard Music Awards stage the day before this album was released. On May 28, they’ll start off Good  Morning America’s Summer Concert Series.
