After publishing his 3D application on LinkedIn, Avkash Shah, a graphic and motion designer from Mumbai, received an internship offer from CRED.

It’s not easy to get an internship with a company of your choice. To get a chance at that ideal job, you may need to submit many applications and attend multiple interviews. Avkash Shah, a visual and motion designer from Mumbai, did not want to wait.

Shah wanted an internship at CRED, but there were none available. As a result, he decided to come up with a fresh and original solution to the situation. On LinkedIn, he posted a 3D internship application that showcased his abilities while addressing a simple interview question, “Why CRED?”

“I figured that if I was going to apply, I’d make something worth it,” he wrote on LinkedIn. “It pays to be good.”

Surprisingly, both Kunal Shah, CRED’s founder, and Harish Sivaramakrishnan, the company’s design director, responded. He was also offered an internship by Sivaramakrishnan. “All of us at CRED Design Mafia enjoyed what you’ve done here, and we’re confident there’s a lot more we can imagine, dream, and create together,” he said. “Welcome to the CRED Design Mafia interns’ club.”

Shah’s tweet has received nearly 1.5 million views and over 75,000 replies since it was uploaded on June 4. Netizens praised his abilities and congratulated him on landing the internship of his dreams.

One person remarked, “I like his technique of showcasing his ability.” Another said, “One of the best video resumes I’ve seen thus far.”

Shah’s unique application was also recognised by LinkedIn, who complimented him. “Avkash, you’ve come up with such an innovative hack.” They wished him luck as he began his professional career.

Conseqentially, a number of other businesses expressed interest in hiring him in the comments section of his post.
