They couple got married in 2018, now they welcome their first baby via surrogacy

Chopra and her Singer husband Nick Jonas welcome their first baby via surrogacy today. The couple tied a knot in 2018 by both Hindu and Christian rituals. Both of them post on their Instagram and other social media accounts, tagging each other and stating “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much” the statement read.
Celebrities wish Priyanka and Nick upon being new parents. As per reports, they have been blessed with a baby girl. A Daily Mail report says that the baby is around 12 weeks premature, their due was in April but the surrogate ended up delivering in January. According to certain reports, Nick and Priyanka haven been wanting a kid since a while and they then met a surrogacy agency in California.
According to some sources “Their busy work schedules also mean that it’s difficult for them to physically be together to conceive when she is ovulating, so some time ago they went down the surrogacy route. This is the woman’s fifth surrogacy. They met her and really liked her”. However, because of a premature birth, now the surrogate and baby have to be continuously monitored. Now Priyanka has to reschedule her works plans as they were for the due date in April.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot in December 2018. The couple met at the grand fashion event Met Gala 2017, where they represented designer Ralph Lauren. The singer had shut down an entire Tiffany’s store in New York to pick out Priyanka Chopra’s ring. He had proposed to Priyanka on her birthday while vacationing in London.
During a special interview which recently came out in Vanity Fair magazine, which put PeeCee on the cover, the actress had spoken about craving a balance and family life. The interview, which was conducted last year around mid-2021 and was published last week, the 39-year-old actress spoke about what she was looking forward in 2022. It included change and some downtime with family.
“I’ve always been such a worker bee” Priyanka Chopra told the magazine. “My priority has always been the next job. I’m a very, very ambitious person. But I think the woman in me is craving balance. I’m craving my family life. I’m craving being able to do things for the soul that I didn’t do”.
