Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 that released in December last year has been doing well at the box office

After a sluggish start, the business of Pushpa: The Rise-Part 1 saw exponential growth over its 2nd and 3rd week. Now, with the filmmakers opting to post-pone new releases, Pushpa has received a new lease on life at the box office has crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark. In this box office report, we take a look at the collections of Pushpa: The Rise while comparing the same to previous South Indian Hindi dubbed films. Collecting Rs. 100 cr., Pushpa: The Rise has managed to become the 5th highest South Indian Hindi dubbed film.
In fact, the business of Pushpa far surpasses previous releases like K.G.F – Chapter 1 that collected Rs. 44.09 crore, Kabali that collected Rs. 28 crores, Robot that collected Rs. 23.84 crore, Kaala Karikaalan that collected Rs. 10.38 crore and Syeraa Narasimha Reddy had collected Rs. 7.93 crore. The business of Pushpa: The Rise does not surpass certain other released films such as Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion that collected Rs. 510.99 crore, 2.0 that collected Rs. 189.55 crore, Saaho that collected Rs. 142.95 crore, and Bahubali – The Beginning that had collected Rs. 118.7 crore.
As of now Pushpa: The Rise continues to run in theatres and is expected to continue doing business till the next big-ticket release in February. Going by these predictions it is likely that Pushpa will close the gap to Baubali – The Beginning over the coming days.
