Finally! The King has also announced to join OTT platforms, but in his style; after all, he is the King of Bollywood, and how can we expect a standard entry from the King?
You must be wondering that SRK is about to do a web series or movie that will be released on OTT, but The King has his ways to make his fans happy.
So, Shahrukh khan has announced that he is going to launch his own OTT platform, and the name of that platform will be SRK+, and the name of four letters is enough to describe that entire platform!
Shahrukh took to social media to announce that he is entering the world of OTT evidently with his platform. Sharing his picture with a logo named ‘SRK+‘, Shah Rukh wrote, “Kuch Kuch hone wala hai, OTT ki Duniya mein.”
Fans started reacting to the news by saying that they were already on their way to subscribing to SRK+. One fan tweeted, “This will be the massive”, and another wrote, “Once a king, always a king”. At the same time, many others are super excited to get this platform launched.
The news of Shah Rukh working in the OTT space first started making the rounds after Disney+Hotstar released promotional videos featuring the actor. The videos showed SRK talking about Hotstar denying his ideas to his manager.
Karan from the movie Karan Arjun had also responded to one of the promotional videos, “Hmmm Swagat nahi karoge SRK ka? Bhaijaan also has an ocean-sized heart, and King & Bhai have been friends for a long time; after this response from Salman Khan, Shah Rukh had reacted to the tweet by saying, “Thanks bhaijaan. Ye bandhan abhi bhi pyaar ka bandhan hai.”
Exactly! “Ye bandhan hamesha pyar ka bandhan rahega”.
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap took it to his Twitter account and revealed that he would collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan for an OTT project. Besides, the director of Gangs of wasseypur also confirmed that this project would be coming out on SRK’s much-awaited OTT platform SRK+. Anurag said in his tweet, “Dream come true! Collaborating with @iamsrk on his new OTT app, SRK+”.
So, this is official now that we will have another OTT platform, and the name will be SRK+ will be released; let’s see when the waiting will come to an end.
