Reasons Why Real Madrid VS. Manchester City UCL Semi Final 2022 Result will go in favor of Real Madrid

Shobhit Chandola – Mumbai Uncensored, 5th May 2022

All eyes are set for the Champions League Semi Final Leg 2 which is to be played between the two dominant teams of Europe- Real Madrid & Manchester City. Just a week ago, we witnessed the aggressive scoreline of 4-3 between ManCity & Real Madrid which was one of its kind played at the Etihad Stadium & now is followed up with 2nd Leg at Santiago Bernabeu to be played on 5th May @ 12:30 IST. It has sparked the excitement worldwide once again as it is being seen as the Close encounter. But still there is a belief that Guardiola’s led Man City can be overshadowed by Carlos Ancelotti’s Real Madrid. Find out the reason why Man City can suffer big blow below:

  • Home Advantage for RMA:  Well, the 2nd leg is being played at Santiago Bernabeu so now the vibes and atmosphere will be quite different. Adding to the fact that just after losing out the UCL leg 1 against City, Real defeated Espanyol FC 4-0 to clinch their 35th  Laliga Title. This is good enough for Real to be motivated to the point that they can outclass City as City holds just a lead of 1 goal. What adds to the fact is that Carlos Ancelotti’s press conference interview where he looked pretty confident on his side making magic at their Home stadium. He even kept on saying that the Big thing for the RMA is playing Final at Stade de France and hinted at retiring post final. Thus, making the Team bid a perfect farewell and double up Ancelotti’s title tally of 2 UCL titles with RMA..
  • Benzema’s Surreal Form: Whosoever is following UCL 2022, checking on Real’s surreal campaign and is a Madridsta knows how good Benzema’s run for Real Madrid has been since the departure of CR7. His role now as a centre forward with 42 goals and 13 assists speaks of the volume of the Frenchman’s class. If the guy can score a hattrick within 17 minutes against PSG in Round of 16 changing the scoreline from 0-2 to 3-2 by full time and score a decider goal against the dangerous looking Chelsea to win on Aggregate 5-4 in Quarter Final,  he surely can run riot in this crucial gateway to UCL Final 2022.

  • Overthinking Guardiola: Often hailed as one of the GOAT in Managers, Guardiola enjoys tremendous success with City in the Premier League & Carabao / FA Cups but the same side looks vulnerable which is quite evident with the City’s Champions league run under Guardiola where they have lost to Monaco on away goals on 2016-17, 1-5 to Liverpool in the 2018 UCL Quarterfinals with a surprising 3-3-1-3 formation, losing out to Tottenham on away goals, 1-3 against Lyon due to ill defending in 2nd half & most recently 0-1 against Chelsea in UCL 2021 Final with a debatable substitutions of KDB & Silva which cost them their 1st Champions League title. Moreover there will be pressure on him to repeat his feat with City just like a  dream run with Barcelona after a decade where he clinched 2 Champions league titles but getting less credited for Management skills & being overshadowed by the Football experts with the phrases that his side was talented and perfect & never an underdogs.
  • Time Tested Team of Real Madrid: When we look at the performances of the Club in the Champions League since its inception, it is the Real Madrid which boasts of the record 13 titles with only Milan coming near with 7 titles and the likes of  Liverpool & Bayern Munich still behind with almost twice the multiplication of the titles required to be at par with UCL titles. Real has been a historical club with the record breaking hat trick spree of 2016, 2017 & 2018 which is almost impossible to break in the coming time. This makes them high on spirit which City certainly lacks. Adding to the fact the City has looked glittering in the 1st half but have concealed goals more than often in the 2nd half which seems to be the perfect opportunity for the ‘Kings of Comebacks’
