A case has been registered against Samajwadi Party leader and Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Lal Bihari Yadav in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad’s Kanth police station for allegedly making indecent remarks on Lord Shiva. At the same time, this case has been registered after Bajrang Dal workers complained about the remarks of the SP leader. Let us tell you that a case has been registered under sections 153A (153A) and 153B (153B) of the Indian Penal Code.
However, it is alleged that in a purported video, MLC Yadav had made indecent remarks against Shivling and Lord Shiva. On the other hand, Bajrang Dal leaders lodged a complaint alleging that Lal Bihari Yadav has hurt Hindu sentiments.
The new controversy comes amid the ongoing Gyanvapi controversy, where the Hindu side claimed that a ‘Shivling’ was found inside the premises of the mosque during the survey. But in a similar incident, BJP leader Nupur Sharma was suspended from the party for allegedly making controversial religious remarks during a TV show.
