Earthquake tremors were felt in Nepal’s capital Kathmandu today. A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck Kathmandu in the early hours of Saturday. Due to which many people lost their sleep and they were forced to run out of the house. The tremors of the earthquake in Kathmandu were recorded by the National Seismological Center at 2:36 pm. Its center was in Bhaktapur district, 15 km east of the capital city.

The earthquake was felt in and around Kathmandu Valley. However, there was no report of loss of life or property immediately after the incident. Many people have written on social media that the tremors of this earthquake reminded them of the devastating 2015 earthquake.

Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam shaken by earthquake tremors

At the same time, earthquake tremors were also felt in Pahalgam of Jammu and Kashmir. The magnitude of the earthquake was 3.7 on the Richter scale. The earthquake occurred after midnight at 12:37. Panic spread in Pahalgam area of ​​Jammu and Kashmir due to sudden earthquake. The National Center for Seismology (NCS) gave information about the earthquake by tweeting. He said that the magnitude of the earthquake was 3.7, which was recorded at 12:37 minutes and 48 seconds late in the night. The center of which was 5 km away from the city.
