Actor Kriti Sanon has sparked speculation with a cryptic post on her Instagram Stories. The post features a clip from Oprah Winfrey, where Oprah says, “Expecting people to do what you would do in a situation only leads to your disappointment, not theirs. They’re going on with their life. So let people be who they are and either you accept it, or you don’t. Not doing that keeps you stuck in a circumstance that actually costs you time, it costs you energy.” Kriti added a caption to the post saying “word” and a salute emoticon.
The post has led many to wonder If Kriti is indirectly addressing the engagement rumours with her Adipurush co-star Prabhas that have been circulating on social media. Kriti and Prabhas have been linked since the release of the first teaser for Adipurush.
However, Kriti has previously denied these reports, and a source close to Prabhas has also stated that there is no truth to these rumours and they should not be believed. Kriti is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Shehzada with Kartik Aaryan, set for release on February 17th.
Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, is set for release on June 2023.
