Hyderabad wins by four wickets thanks to a six from Samad following a no-ball

Sandeep Sharma’s final ball no-ball and Abdul Samad’s subsequent six will be the highlights of this game. Glen Phillips, though, was the player that made Hyderabad the winner in this game.

The game’s most significant contribution came from his three consecutive sixes and one four against Kuldip Sharma in the last over. For the first two deliveries, Kuldip missed the yorker and gave low full tosses; Phillips then pulled the slower delivery over deep midwicket. 25 off 7 when pursuing 215 is exceptional at a time when strike rates and run rates are being watched so closely.

After ‘that’ Murugan Ashwin over, Kuldip Yadav produced a fantastic comeback.
