Janhvi Kapoor, amidst promoting her upcoming film “Ulajh,” recently discussed her stance on paparazzi culture during an episode of The Male Feminist for Hauterrfly. Reflecting on her experience, she shared how she influenced a change in paparazzi behavior during promotions for her previous film, “Mr and Mrs Mahi.”

“I think I said something while promoting Mahi, ‘Please galat angle se mat lena’ (Please don’t click from the wrong angle), and since then they have been like, ‘Nahi, nahi hum peeche se nahi lenge! Are mudo mudo’ (No, we will not click from behind. Turn around)!” Janhvi recounted during the interview. She expressed appreciation for the paparazzi’s respect for her preferences, acknowledging their willingness to comply with her request to not photograph her from behind.

Janhvi Kapoor emphasized her discomfort with certain angles and how asserting her choice influenced paparazzi practices. “They are forced to listen to me because this is my decision and my choice,” she affirmed.

Following her role in the sports drama “Mr and Mrs Mahi,” Janhvi Kapoor is set to captivate audiences in “Ulajh” as Suhana Bhatia, a young diplomat caught in a complex web of intrigue and conspiracy. Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, the film features a stellar cast including Adil Hussain, Meiyang Chang, Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajendra Gupta, and Jitendra Joshi. “Ulajh” is scheduled to release in theatres on August 2, promising audiences a gripping cinematic experience.
