Masaba Gupta, Founder – House of Masaba

Masaba Gupta, renowned as one of India’s foremost fashion designers, has carved an inspiring path in the industry, overcoming challenges tied to her mixed heritage with unwavering determination. The daughter of veteran actor Neena Gupta, Masaba embarked on her fashion journey at just 19, debuting with a collection at Lakme Fashion Week. Armed with a degree in Apparel Manufacturing and Design, she initially explored the world of dance, earning accolades in college.

Masaba’s innate flair for fashion, coupled with a passionate attitude, led her to recognize her true calling. Balancing creativity, commercial appeal, and functionality, she founded ‘House of Masaba,’ her eponymous label that has garnered widespread acclaim. Breaking barriers, she became the first Indian designer to host a fashion show on Instagram, showcasing her innovative approach.

Despite initial challenges, Masaba’s persistence and creative prowess have seen her collaborate with renowned fashion brands. From her inaugural collection at 19 to the establishment of ‘House of Masaba,’ her journey underscores the profound impact of persistence on the road to success.

Aparna Deepak More, Yoga Therapist

Aparna Deepak More’s journey is one of resilience, surrender, and deep faith in life’s calling. A software engineer by qualification, she spent two decades in the IT industry before an extraordinary experience shifted her path forever. Selected as one of just 10 women from a pool of 20,000 to trek to Everest Base Camp, Aparna found herself caught in the devastating earthquake that struck Nepal. Lost for three days with nothing but determination to hold on to, she learned resilience, patience, and the beauty of small blessings. That life-altering experience planted a seed of transformation. As she often says, “Life is just 0 kms away—when the soul feels a calling, it is life inviting you now, not later.”

Choosing to follow her passion, Aparna pursued a Diploma in Yoga Education and multiple certifications at the age of 40. For the past 12 years, she has been living her purpose as a Yoga Therapist, sharing the healing magic of yoga with people across the world. Her own journey has been a testament to yoga’s power—after a fracture left her immobile for half a year, she refused surgery, choosing instead to heal herself through yoga, affirmations, breathwork, and diet. That experience deepened her belief in the body’s innate wisdom to restore itself.

Beyond yoga, Aparna has explored 35 countries, embracing adventure, new cultures, and the joy of travel. A devoted mother, avid trekker, and health enthusiast, she embodies balance between personal passions and professional purpose. Recognized as Best Yoga Therapist, Indian Icon Women Personality, and as a Best Oral Presenter at the Global Research Conference at Cambridge University, she continues to inspire others with her vision. Aparna believes dreams are valid, risks are worth taking, and kindness is the truest expansion of the soul. Her story reflects that setbacks may pause us, but true calling always carries us forward.

Saloni Mittal Founder – The Creative Nose

Saloni Mittal is the founder of The Creative Nose, a global branding and advertising agency that helps businesses across the US, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and India craft meaningful brands and digital experiences. With a powerful blend of strategy, storytelling, and design, Saloni and her team help brands find their voice and connect with their audience in authentic, impactful ways.

Her journey into branding began with a love for psychology, which sparked a deep interest in consumer behavior. This passion led her into the world of advertising, where she honed her craft at top agencies in New York, Berlin, and Mumbai before launching her own venture. Through The Creative Nose, she brought together her three creative pillars—strategy, storytelling, and design—under one transformative roof.

Inspired by her mother’s courage, her father’s sharp business acumen, and her husband’s unwavering support, Saloni has built her career on a foundation of belief, resilience, and purpose. Being a young, bold woman at the helm of an agency came with its share of challenges, but she met every doubt with discipline and let her work do the talking.

Outside of work, Saloni finds joy in dancing and in conversations that offer fresh perspective and creative fuel. Her mantra for aspiring entrepreneurs is simple yet bold: “Don’t fear rejection. Ask, pitch, apply—what’s the worst that could happen? A ‘no’ is better than regret. You belong in every room you walk into.”

Purva Kapur Founder – Conscious Living by Purva Kapur

Purva Kapur is the founder of Conscious Living by Purva Kapur, where she works as a Mindfulness and Spiritual Coach. Through practices such as Reiki, Karmic Cord Cutting, Inner Child Healing, and Intergenerational Trauma Healing, she helps people heal anxiety, fears, and emotional wounds, guiding them toward more mindful and empowered lives.

Her journey into this space began with her own struggles. Nearly seven years ago, she experienced severe anxiety and panic attacks—moments that shook her deeply. One incident, standing outside her son’s school consumed by fear, became a turning point. She realized she needed to heal—not only for herself but for her children and family. Determined not to pass down the weight of her fears to the next generation, she immersed herself in learning multiple spiritual and mindfulness tools. What began as a personal journey of healing gradually transformed into her life’s calling.

Purva’s professional journey started at the age of 38, after years of being a full-time mother. From being an introverted, underconfident woman afraid to speak in public, she evolved into someone who now coaches and confidently addresses large groups. This transformation led her to create Conscious Living, a platform through which she works with people across the globe, helping them release fear, anxiety, and emotional baggage. Beyond healing, she also certifies individuals to become coaches, healers, and leaders themselves.

Her children remain her biggest inspiration and the reason she first chose to heal. But her journey wasn’t without challenges. As a woman, the biggest barrier she faced was the belief that she wasn’t “enough.” Years of self-doubt and silence had conditioned her to remain small. Choosing to invest in herself shifted everything—and now, she encourages women to reclaim their voices and step into their power.

Outside of her work, Purva is a proud mother of two, aged 15 and 10. She loves spending time with her family, reading, meditating, and continuously learning new modalities that deepen her spiritual practice.

For her, healing is not just about the individual—it’s about generations. She often emphasizes that many fears and anxieties we carry are not ours alone but are patterns passed down. Breaking those cycles not only frees us but also liberates our children and future generations.

Today, she feels immense gratitude for having chosen this path. By healing herself, she has ensured that her children inherit confidence, mindfulness, and empowerment instead of fear and anxiety. This, she believes, is her true legacy—not just for her family but for everyone whose lives she touches.

Dipti’s ultimate vision is to weave wellness into the fabric of everyday life — creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to live healthy, free, and joyful lives.

Natasha Desai, Fashion & lifestyle influencer

Natasha Desai is a fashion and lifestyle storyteller whose journey from passion project to industry recognition captures the power of perseverance. Based in Mumbai, she founded her popular Instagram handle @beautyandthelook7 five years ago at a time when motherhood paused her professional momentum. What began as a creative outlet—sharing daily outfits and beauty tips—soon became a meaningful way to reconnect with her identity beyond home and family.

Encouraged by her husband and friends, Natasha decided to be persistent, committing to post every single day after realizing that consistency was key to staying visible. That dedication paid off. Her authentic style, relatable voice, and warm content built a growing audience and opened doors to collaborations with major global brands—L’Oréal, Garnier, Nykaa, Huda Beauty, Coca-Cola, as well as prestigious luxury partners like St. Regis and JW Marriott.

Managing motherhood and content creation wasn’t always easy. Natasha recalls days when posting felt impossible, even going ten days without sharing anything. But that turning point led her to promise herself consistency—and ever since, she’s never looked back.

Her personal mantra—“If you love what you do, you’ll never fail. Patience and consistency are the best ways to succeed”—reflects the philosophy guiding her growth. Today, her platform isn’t just about style—it’s about authenticity, resilience, and the joy of pursuing one’s passion with dedication.

Natasha Desai’s story is a testament to how simple beginnings, sustained effort, and unwavering faith in oneself can transform into an inspiring career that resonates with many beyond the screen.

Monica Batra, Founder – Fat Lulu’s & Daisy Mae Cantina

Monica Batra’s professional journey is a testament to how life’s unexpected turns can lead to deeply rewarding ventures. Originally an interior space designer, Monica never imagined she would be at the helm of two thriving F&B brands — Fat Lulu’s, offering rich Italian flavours, and Daisy Mae Cantina, bringing a vibrant Mexican touch to the table.

Her foray into the food and beverage industry began almost serendipitously. While looking for a change in her line of work, she was presented with the opportunity to design the very first Fat Lulu’s restaurant. Instead of simply charging for her design services, she chose to become a partner. What followed was a smooth yet completely new transition into a different industry.

The journey since then has been nothing short of exciting. Monica has learned on the job — from brainstorming the perfect brand name to building and onboarding a team, curating menus, designing packaging, managing social media and PR, and even overseeing events and outdoor catering. Each step has been a blend of creativity and business acumen, making the experience wholesome and fulfilling.

When it comes to inspiration, Monica believes in the power of humility paired with success. She draws motivation from various people whose stories, especially in the digital age, add value to her journey in different ways. She credits her exceptional team for making the steep learning curve of a new business feel manageable and rewarding.

Outside her entrepreneurial life, Monica remains deeply connected to her artistic roots. She loves sketching and painting, having studied commercial art and NIFT, and has also been a newsreader in the past. Fitness is a big part of her lifestyle, and she hopes to add playing the piano to her skillset soon.

Her advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple but powerful: every journey is unique, and the younger generation has much to teach if one is willing to learn. And as for her own story, Monica embraces both the “oops” moments and the “aha!” moments — knowing that each has played its part in her growth and success.

Vinita Mulchandani, Co-founder – Corerestore & Khaddo – Taste the Sindhi Way

Vinita Mulchandani is a dynamic entrepreneur whose journey reflects resilience, adaptability, and a deep commitment to helping others succeed. Starting her career at the age of 20, she came from a lower-middle-class background with no clear roadmap but a strong determination to build her own name and financial independence. Over 15 years, she honed her skills in sales and marketing across hospitality giants like Taj, InterContinental, and Hyatt, as well as in real estate with Indiabulls and Lodha.

After taking a break to focus on her family, the pandemic reignited her drive when she noticed the untapped potential among housewives and women-led ventures. She founded her own company to guide small businesses and startups, teaching them how to market their services effectively and grow sustainably.

Her entrepreneurial journey took a new turn when she joined her brother in building Khaddo – Taste the Sindhi Way, an authentic Sindhi restaurant in Cuffe Parade. What began as a cloud kitchen has grown over seven years into a celebrated brand serving over a lakh families across India and abroad, blending rich cuisine with the essence of Sindhi culture and heritage.

Inspired by her medically accomplished family, Vinita ventured into healthcare with Corerestore, a pioneering IV drip therapy clinic in Colaba, launched in September 2024. Leveraging her marketing expertise and the clinic’s strong medical foundation, she turned it into a thriving venture within its first year.

Her values are deeply shaped by role models in her life—her self-made grandmother who rebuilt after partition, her father’s humility and generosity, her mother-in-law’s determination to rise against all odds, and her husband’s unwavering belief in her. She truly believes in the words of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam: “If you fail, never give up because F.A.I.L. means ‘First Attempt In Learning’; End is not the end, in fact E.N.D. means ‘Effort Never Dies’; If you get No as an answer, remember N.O. means ‘Next Opportunity’. So let’s be positive.”

For Vinita, persuasion, hard work, and smart thinking are the cornerstones of achievement, and her story stands as proof that vision paired with relentless effort can create extraordinary outcomes.
