Aashwin Shanker, Mumbai Uncensored, 22nd June 2021:

Invoking 15 sections of the IPC and three sections of the IT Act, Bijnor Police have booked journalist Vineet Narain and two others for falsely accusing the general secretary of the Ram Temple Trust in a Facebook post.

The Facebook post alleges that Champat Rai, general secretary of the Ram Temple Trust, had helped his brother grab 20,000 square meters of land in a cow shelter owned by NRI Alka Lahoti (also named in the FIR).

In his post Mr. Narayan has also mentioned that Alka Lahoti had been trying to get the encroachers evicted since 2018 and appealed to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to take action.

Sanjay Bansal in the FIR has mentioned that he wanted to clear the facts of the post when tried to get in touch with Mr. Narayan via phone but instead a man named Rajnish picked the call and started abusing, misbehaving and threatening to kill Mr Bansal. Among the 18 charges pressed against the three accusers, the most prominent ones are “promoting enmity on the grounds of religion”, providing “false evidence”, “cheating” and “trespass” among others. Bijnor police chief Dr Dharm Vir Singh said in the statement that the matter is under investigation. “The local police are investigating.

Mr Champat Rai is a senior leader of the VHP and a member of the Ram Temple Trust and the accusations against him by the accused are baseless and prima facie the accusations against his relatives are baseless too. We are ascertaining all the facts,” Bijnor police chief Dr Dharm Vir Singh said in the statement.

This is the second time in a short while that Champat Rai has been falsely dragged into a controversy concerning Ram Mandir. But it seems like the AAP Sanjay Singh accusations of land scam this controversy will also be proved untrue and misleading.

The case of a missing 17-year-old Hindu girl from Santacruz railway station has taken a grave turn as her father gives an ultimatum of ‘Fast Unto Death’ if his daughter is not found soon. The girl has been missing since the 23rd of March, 2024, and her father has been tirelessly searching for her.

An FIR was filed by the father at Vakola Police Station, where he also mentioned a person named Arif Shaikh as a possible suspect. However, the police did not include Arif Shaikh’s name in the FIR. Arif Shaikh is also accused in a POCSO case in Surat, adding to the urgency of finding the missing girl.

Despite the father’s efforts and the seriousness of the case, it has been reported that Senior Police Inspector Prakash Khandekar is not actively focusing on the investigation, causing a delay. In a bid to pressure the authorities into action, the father has written to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) expressing his intention to go on a ‘Fast Unto Death’ if his daughter is not found soon. The family’s plea for swift action and justice in this matter highlights the need for urgent attention to cases of missing minors.

Efforts to locate the missing girl are ongoing, and authorities are urged to expedite the investigation to ensure her safe return. The Hindu community stands in solidarity with the family during this difficult time, hoping for a swift and positive resolution to this distressing situation.

In a disturbing turn of events, religious tensions have escalated in Mumbai’s suburb of Mira-Bhayandar following a series of violent incidents involving minors. The incident, which occurred on the 30th of March, 2024, began innocuously as two minors, one Hindu and one Muslim, were playing a mobile game together.

According to reports, the Muslim minor boy made derogatory remarks about the Hindu faith and abused Hindu Gods, provoking a quarrel between the two. The situation escalated when, a day later, the Muslim minor assaulted another Hindu minor who questioned him about the previous incident.

Subsequently, the Muslim minor, accompanied by five others, allegedly assaulted the first Hindu minor and his brother on separate occasions. The victims sustained injuries and were reportedly beaten severely.

Upon learning of the incidents, the victims’ parents filed a First Information Report (FIR) at the Kashigaon Police Station. Due to the age of the individuals involved, their names have been withheld from the public.

This incident has sparked concerns among the local community regarding the safety and security of minors in the area. Authorities are investigating the matter and have assured that appropriate action will be taken against those responsible.

The situation is developing, and further updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
