A shocking incident has surfaced in Nadiad where Love was lured into jihad and taken abroad. The youth lured the girl into a love trap and kept her in a room for 4 months. Currently, the police have registered a complaint against 10 people.
A 24 year old woman, who belonged to an SC (Scheduled Caste) community, living in Nadiad city and studying nursing has become a victim of love jihad. The woman wanted to complete her nursing studies and then go abroad. The accused Yasir Khan, living in the same area where the girl’s mother was working, befriended him by sending a friend request on Instagram. Then in just 3 days, the woman was called to meet him in a coffee shop in Anand and he was caught in a love trap. The accused knew the craze she had for going abroad. He then said that I will marry you and take you abroad. After being trapped in a love trap, the girl was taken to different places and raped.
Accused Yasir told the girl to bring Rs 5 lakh to tell her parents that she was going to Poland for a job, after which they will both go to Dubai and get married. After the girl brought Rs 5 lakh to him, the young man sent the girl to Dubai alone as he could not get a visa. After staying for 15 days in Dubai, she demanded to come back to India. The accused then called her back.
The girl’s parents, on the other hand, thought their daughter was in Poland. But for four months in Nadiad, the young woman was falling prey to the lust of a heretic young man in a room. The young man kept the girl in a rented house in a society in Nadiad. When the young man left the house, he would lock himself outside the house, and the young woman would stay in the house all day.
Eventually, the accused, who was the victim of a love jihad that went beyond the bounds of brutality, lodged a complaint and the accused was exposed. The police have registered a complaint against 10 of them, including 8 from a pagan family and 2 from a helper. However, the accused youth is absconding in the entire case, Nadiad police are searching for him.
The accused were identified as Jabir Pathan, Faisal Pathan, Shahnaz Pathan, Suraiya Pathan, Fardeen Syed, Faridabanu Malek, Nadeem Malek, Jai Kadam.
Yasir’s family, on the other hand, staged a protest against the police, saying, “Our son is missing, we have announced his disappearance.” Not only that, the young lady was found by Yasar’s family and forced to wear the burqa, perform namaz and recite kalma. Presenting all the accused in the court, the court has ordered to send the accused to jail.
A section of forceful religious conversion has been added to the case.
