A class XII student in Tamil Nadu set a record on Monday by taking first place in all subjects and overall in the upper secondary exams. Officials from the Education Department said Dindigul district resident S Nandhini accomplished the extraordinary accomplishment. On Monday, the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) announced the results.Nandhini, a district resident and the daughter of a carpenter, was enrolled in a government-sponsored school.According to authorities, the student earned perfect scores in Tamil, English, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy, and Computer Application, totaling 600 marks.The student, whose dad is a carpenter, received all A’s in Tamil, English, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy, and Computer Application, totaling 600 points.
Nandhini visited MK Stalin, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, at his home on Tuesday to express her gratitude.The student expressed her happiness at attaining the highest rank in the state to the reporters after meeting Stalin. “I thank my parents and instructors for helping me achieve this. I am fortunate that the chief minister invited me today. I received presents from him (Stalin), who also promised to pay for my higher studies. He also instructed me to get in touch with him if I ever needed assistance. I want to express my sincere gratitude to the chief minister and the administration,” she stated.Nandhini revealed to the journalists her ambition to work as an auditor.
