From childhood sketches to the founder of a flourishing art enterprise, Deesha Katkar, the creative force behind “Deehive,” has seamlessly woven her passion for art into a thriving business. What began as a pastime during the lockdown has evolved into a venture that encapsulates the essence of art in various forms.

Deesha’s artistic inclination was nurtured by her father, whose own passion for painting left an indelible mark on her. She reminisces, “I have been practicing art since my childhood, looking at my father because he used to paint as well when I was a kid. My love for art has been since forever.” Little did she know that this childhood fascination would shape her future. Deesha was trained by Late Narendra Pawar Sir.

As an actor, the path to becoming the founder of an art company was unexpected, but Deesha’s journey took a turn during the lockdown. Boredom led her to pick up her brushes and start painting walls, which eventually led to commissioned work. Thus, “Deehive” was born—a platform dedicated to celebrating art in its purest form.

Deehive is more than just an art company; it’s a manifestation of Deesha’s emotions, where every stroke on the canvas reflects a piece of her heart and soul. “My paintings are not just paintings,” she says, “I pour my emotions into every line I draw and every stroke I apply.”

With each artwork resonating with art enthusiasts, Deesha’s creations have organically gained recognition. She envisions her art reaching global heights, transcending geographical boundaries. “I want my paintings and artwork to go all over the world,” she affirms, adding that the heartfelt appreciation from those who own her paintings fuels her passion even more.

Deesha’s aspirations don’t stop there. In a testament to her dedication, she is preparing for her first private exhibition in Pune, where she will unveil a collection of new paintings. “I am so excited for this because this is going to be Deehive’s first private exhibition,” she exclaims with enthusiasm.

Despite her commitments as an artist and entrepreneur, Deesha has managed to balance her artistic pursuits with her shooting schedule, even designing and painting murals at over 50 properties. Under the Deehive umbrella, a spectrum of creative services comes to life, including canvas paintings, captivating murals, engaging art workshops, and expert wall art consultations.
