या घटनेने परिसरात प्रचंड संताप व्यक्त होत आहे. इंटरनेटवर अनेक व्हिज्युअल समोर आले आहेत ज्यात आरोपींना फाशीची शिक्षा देण्याची मागणी करणाऱ्या नागरिकांचा जमाव नवघर पोलिस ठाण्याबाहेर मोठ्या प्रमाणात दिसत आहे.

मीरा रोड येथे एका मोहम्मद दाराज नावाच्या ४५ वर्षीय व्यक्तीला एका ४ वर्षांच्या हिंदू मुलीवर बलात्कार केल्याप्रकरणी अटक करण्यात आल्याची धक्कादायक घटना समोर आली आहे. मीरा रोडच्या रामदेव पार्क परिसरात हा घृणास्पद गुन्हा घडला. आरोपी मोहम्मद दराज याला जमावाने पकडून भाईंदर पूर्व येथील नवघर पोलिस स्टेशनच्या ताब्यात दिले.

दररोज एका नवीन प्रकारच्या जिहादला सामोरे जाणाऱ्या मीरा भायंदर मधील हिंदू नागरिकांनी या भयानक घटनेनंतर प्रचंड निषेध व्यक्त केला आहे.

इंटरनेटवर अनेक व्हिज्युअल समोर आले आहेत ज्यात आरोपींना फाशीची शिक्षा देण्याची मागणी करणाऱ्या नवघर पोलिस ठाण्याबाहेर मोठ्या प्रमाणात निदर्शकांचा जमाव दिसत आहे. “त्याला 24 तासांत फाशी द्या,” असे संतप्त हिंदू नागरिकांनी पोलिस ठाण्याबाहेर सांगितले. काही व्हिज्युअल्समध्ये मांसाच्या दुकानाची तोडफोड व जाळपोळ करण्यात आली असून, दुकानाच्या परिसरात जमाव उभा आहे.

मीरा रोडवरील ऑरेंज हॉस्पिटलजवळ मोहम्मद दाराज हा ‘महाराष्ट्र चिकन शॉप’ नावाचे मांसाचे दुकान चालवतो. घटनेची माहिती मिळताच लोकांच्या जमावाने आरोपीच्या दुकानात जाऊन तोडफोड करून आरोपींना ताब्यात घेतले. त्यानंतर जमावाने नवघर पोलीस ठाणे गाठून त्याला पोलिसांच्या ताब्यात दिले.

रिपोर्ट्सनुसार, सुरुवातीला पोलिसांनी या प्रकरणात एफआयआर दाखल केला नाही. मात्र, स्थानिकांच्या प्रचंड विरोधानंतर पोलिसांनी अखेर मोहम्मद दराजविरुद्ध एफआयआर दाखल केला. याप्रकरणी पुढील तपास सुरू आहे.

अनेक हिंदू संघटना या भयानक घटनेनंतर आक्रमक होताना दिसून येत आहे. या वेळी एका हिंदू संघटनेच्या कार्यकर्त्याने असे म्हटले कि “मीरा-भायंदर मधले हिंदू नागरिक या आधी भीतीच्या वातावरणात राहत होते. परंतु राम मंदिर प्राणप्रतिष्ठेच्या दिवशी आमच्यावर ज्या जिहाद्यांनी हल्ला केला, त्यांना आम्ही प्रतिउत्तर दिलंच, आणि आता या पूढे हिंदू समाज या जिहाद्यांना धडा शिकविल्याशिवाय राहणार नाही. गेले ते दिवस जेव्हा आम्ही शांत बसून सहन करत होतो, आता आम्ही शांत बसणार नाही. आम्हाला सरकार व प्रशासनाने ने न्याय दिला नाही, तर आम्ही आमचा न्याय स्वतः मिळवू, हे सगळ्यांनी लक्षात ठेवावं”

An FIR was filed by the father at Vakola Police Station, where he also mentioned a person named Arif Shaikh as a possible suspect. However, the police did not include Arif Shaikh’s name in the FIR. Arif Shaikh is also accused in a POCSO case in Surat, adding to the urgency of finding the missing girl.

Despite the father’s efforts and the seriousness of the case, it has been reported that Senior Police Inspector Prakash Khandekar is not actively focusing on the investigation, causing a delay.
