Crowned Mrs. India 2015, Mrs. Earth 2016, and Mrs. Cosmic 2017, she also serves as the Goodwill Ambassador for Mrs. Universe International—a title she wears with pride and responsibility. Her journey into the world of pageantry began organically. A model and TV show host by profession, Maadhuri was invited to represent India at an international pageant—an opportunity that catapulted her onto the global stage. But her story is far more than titles; it’s about transformation.

After years away from the limelight, Maadhuri returned to the stage stronger than ever. Her comeback wasn’t just about reclaiming her spotlight, but about showing that age, motherhood, or a break don’t define your limits—your will does.

Today, she stands as a role model for women across ages and backgrounds. Her message is simple yet powerful: “Never give up. If your heart is in it, nothingnot time, not age, not circumstance can stop you. Ask, believe, and receivethe universe is never on a budget.”

Based in Jaipur, she launched Molly Moo in 2017 to fill a clear gap: pure, joyful, and guilt-free ice cream that could shine not only in everyday moments but at weddings and grand events too. What began as a single store quickly became a sensation—celebrated for its innovation, premium textures, and unwavering quality.

Raised with the belief that every problem has a solution, a phrase passed down by her father, Shweta made persistence her compass. During the pandemic, when the world paused, she shifted gears—leaning into a rising demand for healthy indulgence and proving that vision paired with agility can weather any storm.

Her strength is rooted in family. The unwavering support of her father and husband became the foundation of her courage, especially as she navigated the demanding worlds of motherhood, marriage, and entrepreneurship. In an industry often dominated by men, Shweta believes presence is power. From late-night setups to client visits, she shows up—and makes it count.

Beyond business, she remains deeply connected to social causes and finds solace in mythology, often turning to books and podcasts for inner strength. Sashikala Samgam’s journey is one of resilience, reinvention, and quiet strength. Born in Malaysia and raised in Singapore, her life took a transformative turn when she moved to India with her two young children. Alone in a new country, unfamiliar with the language and culture, she rebuilt her life from scratch in Pune, Maharashtra. Raising her children single-handedly remains her proudest achievement—and her biggest source of strength.

With no financial backing or support system, Sashikala founded Naturally Interiors, a design studio rooted in her deep intuition and creativity. What began as a modest venture has grown into a respected name in the world of interior design, known for spaces that radiate warmth and soul. Her work isn’t just about aesthetics—it reflects her personal philosophy of integrity, simplicity, and authenticity.

In parallel, she rediscovered her love for fashion and self-expression, stepping into the world of pageantry not for validation, but to celebrate personal transformation. Though she doesn’t yet run a formal NGO, her life’s mission is to support other women walking similar paths. She believes in the power of sisterhood and hopes to build a platform that offers guidance and second chances. For Sashikala, freedom means choice—the choice to begin again, to live with dignity, and to rise despite the odds. At 39, Meenakshi Kaith stands as a testament to how purpose and passion can reshape not only personal trajectories but entire communities. A self-taught fashion designer with a Master’s degree in English Language, Meenakshi made a bold transition from teaching to entrepreneurship, founding the Indo-Western fashion brand LABELMINAAKSHIGANGAA—now available on Amazon, Flipkart, and its own website.

Her journey began not in a bustling fashion house but on the balcony of her government home in 2012, with a 40-year-old sewing machine gifted by her mother-in-law. As someone who designed and stitched her own clothes from a young age—including her own wedding dress—Meenakshi had long harbored a creative spark. It wasn’t until 2020, during the pandemic, that she overcame her self-doubt and began selling online. What started as a humble effort has now grown into a two-story production unit.

But LABELMINAAKSHIGANGAA is more than a clothing brand—it’s a social mission. Having encountered countless women working as domestic helps out of necessity, Meenakshi recognized untapped talent hindered by lack of opportunity. Determined to be the change, she built a platform where these women could earn, learn, and thrive. Today, her team includes 15 women—many of whom have left domestic labor behind, including several from tribal communities.

Inspired by her mother, Bimla Devi, a Congress party member known for her dedication to women’s education, Meenakshi has faced her share of challenges. From persuading families to allow women to work, to battling stereotypes about “uneducated hands” being incapable of producing quality work—she’s navigated every hurdle with resilience and humility.

Through it all, Meenakshi remains a lifelong learner, advocating for businesses that not only succeed but give back. She believes the next generation must combine technical skills with compassion and community consciousness.

For Meenakshi, fashion isn’t just a livelihood—it’s a tool for empowerment, a medium of dignity, and a movement of change.

In this special edition, National Doctors Day 2026: Success Stories of India’s Most Inspiring Doctors, we celebrate remarkable medical professionals whose journeys, innovations and commitment to healing continue to inspire millions and redefine the future of healthcare in India.

Dr. Saniya Bagade Mehta is a Dental Surgeon and oral healthcare professional committed to delivering ethical, patient-centered care. A fellowship graduate of the CCRP program conducted by the Indian Dental Association (Mumbai Head Office), she believes that dentistry is not just about treating teeth, but about building trust and making healthcare more compassionate and approachable.

Her journey into dentistry began with a fascination for healthcare and the desire to positively impact people’s lives. Drawn to the unique blend of science, precision, artistry, and human connection that dentistry offers, she gradually discovered that her true passion lay in caring for people beyond their clinical concerns.

As a first-generation dentist from Maharashtra, Dr. Mehta built her career through perseverance, continuous learning, and an unwavering commitment to her patients. Over the years, treating thousands of individuals taught her an invaluable lesson: patients often arrive carrying fear, anxiety, insecurities, and personal stories alongside their dental problems. This realization transformed her approach to dentistry, making empathy and communication as important as clinical excellence.

Her greatest inspiration has been her mother, a Vigilance Manager at The Oriental Insurance Company, whose resilience, integrity, and ability to balance multiple responsibilities shaped many of the values Dr. Mehta carries today. From her, she learned that success is not measured solely by achievements, but by authenticity, compassion, and the ability to remain grounded through life’s challenges.

As a woman, she has faced the challenge of balancing different identities and overcoming the expectation that women should confine themselves to a single path. Choosing not to limit herself, she embraced both her professional and creative pursuits with confidence.

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Mehta is a content creator, Marathi theatre actress, and a national-level finalist representing Maharashtra at the UMB Pageants. These experiences have enriched her perspective and strengthened her belief that healthcare professionals can pursue diverse passions while becoming more empathetic and relatable individuals.

Her message to aspiring professionals is simple: never underestimate the power of authenticity, integrity, and consistency. Success is not only about accomplishments, but about the impact you create and the way you make people feel.

For Dr. Saniya Bagade Mehta, true success lies in making healthcare kinder and more human. As she beautifully puts it, “Degrees earn respect. Humanity earns trust.”

Dr. Janhavi Banage Doshi is an Orthodontist whose work is centered around transforming smiles and restoring confidence. For her, orthodontics is about much more than straightening teeth—it is about helping people feel comfortable, smile freely, and enjoy a better quality of life.

The dream of becoming a doctor had always been a part of her life. However, her personal experience with braces became the turning point that shaped her career. After undergoing orthodontic treatment herself and experiencing the confidence that came with a healthy smile, she knew she wanted to help others experience the same transformation. That journey eventually led her to specialize in orthodontics.

Like every profession, her path has come with its own challenges and learning experiences. She believes that every journey has its ups and downs, but her passion for what she does has always kept her moving forward. One of the biggest sacrifices she has made since starting her postgraduate training has been finding time for herself. Despite the demanding nature of the profession, she has never regretted the path she chose and continues to enjoy every aspect of her work.

What inspires Dr. Janhavi the most are her patients and the joy they experience after treatment. Some of the most rewarding moments in her career have been hearing patients tell her that they can finally eat comfortably, smile confidently, and enjoy life without pain. One compliment that remains especially close to her heart is when patients tell her that she has “soft hands,” making even complex procedures comfortable and painless. For her, these moments define success more than any title or recognition.

Outside dentistry, Dr. Janhavi enjoys travelling and baking. She once ran a small venture selling homemade cookies and brownies, combining her love for baking with entrepreneurship. Although her demanding schedule eventually made it difficult to continue, it remains one of her cherished passions.

Her message to aspiring professionals and entrepreneurs is simple: trust the timing of your life. She believes that when the right time comes, things have a way of falling into place. Moving forward with confidence and trusting the process are just as important as hard work.

Above all, Dr. Janhavi credits her mother as the strongest pillar in her life. She believes that everything she has achieved so far has been possible because of her mother’s unwavering support, love, and encouragement. While she is grateful for everything she has accomplished, she sees her story as only the beginning. With the support of her loved ones and the trust of her patients, she believes the best chapters of her journey are still ahead.
