Volume IV
On the occasion of Women’s Day, we honour ten exceptional Indian women leaders whose vision, courage, and relentless pursuit of excellence are shaping the nation’s present and future.
Across diverse fields and industries, these trailblazers have broken barriers, challenged conventions, and redefined what leadership truly means. Their journeys are not just stories of success, but powerful testaments to resilience, purpose, and the transformative impact of women who lead with conviction.
Masaba Gupta, Founder – House of Masaba

Masaba Gupta, renowned as one of India’s foremost fashion designers, has carved an inspiring path in the industry, overcoming challenges tied to her mixed heritage with unwavering determination. The daughter of veteran actor Neena Gupta, Masaba embarked on her fashion journey at just 19, debuting with a collection at Lakme Fashion Week. Armed with a degree in Apparel Manufacturing and Design, she initially explored the world of dance, earning accolades in college.
Masaba’s innate flair for fashion, coupled with a passionate attitude, led her to recognize her true calling. Balancing creativity, commercial appeal, and functionality, she founded ‘House of Masaba,’ her eponymous label that has garnered widespread acclaim. Breaking barriers, she became the first Indian designer to host a fashion show on Instagram, showcasing her innovative approach.
Despite initial challenges, Masaba’s persistence and creative prowess have seen her collaborate with renowned fashion brands.
Tarun K Dosanjh, Co-Founder – BACCII Skincare

Tarun K Dosanjh is a skincare expert and the Strategic Co-Founder of BACCII Skincare, known for her biology-led approach to non-procedure skin correction. Her work centres on delivering true skin confidence by changing skin behaviour rather than offering temporary glow. By combining targeted skincare routines with skin-specific nutrition, she focuses on achieving long-term results without dependence on invasive procedures.
Tarun’s journey into skincare was driven by a strong desire to help women feel confident in their own skin and empowered to rise in both their personal and professional lives. Over more than 25 years of hands-on experience, she has worked with hundreds of thousands of women whose confidence, relationships, and careers were deeply affected by unresolved skin concerns. These experiences led her to study skin patterns extensively and develop correction-led systems that address root causes rather than surface-level symptoms.
Through years of observation and practice, Tarun created structured routines that integrate product strategy, nutrition, and daily habits to deliver consistent and sustainable outcomes. One of the key challenges she faced was changing the perception that meaningful skin transformation requires aggressive treatments. Educating clients that real results are possible through the right routines, products, and nutrition demanded patience, credibility, and proof through outcomes.
She draws inspiration from women who continue to care for themselves emotionally, physically, and mentally despite financial pressures, family responsibilities, and life’s challenges. Their resilience reinforces her belief that self-care is foundational to confidence and success.
Beyond her professional work, spiritual alignment plays a central role in Tarun’s life. She views her work as a form of service, helping her remain grounded, focused, and deeply committed to delivering meaningful impact.
Her message to aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals is clear: stay relentlessly committed to results. Focus on impact rather than hours worked, because when real outcomes are delivered, visibility, financial freedom, and success follow naturally.
For Tarun, the journey has been deeply fulfilling. Even after 25 years, her work never feels forced. Her clients feel like extended family, and witnessing genuine skin transformations continues to be her greatest motivation and reward.
Aishwarya G. Chopra, Promoter – Niraj Cement Structurals Ltd. & Founder – Alloy Workspaces

Aishwarya G. Chopra began her professional journey as a Communication Designer after graduating from NIFT. She later pursued a Master’s in Innovation at the University of the Arts London, where her thinking evolved beyond aesthetics into systems, strategy, and future-focused design. Soon after, she stepped into a new chapter as a Promoter of her family’s public listed company, Niraj Cement Structurals Limited, transitioning from design and communication into corporate strategy, project management, client relations, and large-scale decision making.
While working within the infrastructure and corporate ecosystem, she observed a gap. Workspaces were efficient but uninspiring, structured yet lacked emotional intelligence, productive yet missed a sense of community. She believed that purpose driven environments could redefine how businesses function at scale. This conviction led her to establish Alloy Workspaces, a new age co-working concept designed to merge structure with creativity. Alloy reflects her belief that business should feel human, that technology should enhance empathy rather than replace it, and that workplaces can become intentional communities rather than transactional spaces.
Her journey has been about bridging dualities: creativity and compliance, aesthetics and analytics, legacy and innovation. Entering a multi-division listed enterprise as a young woman required her to quickly understand operational, financial, and regulatory complexities while earning credibility in male dominated spaces. She chose competence, clarity, and consistency as her tools. Over time, results reshaped perception.
Her inspiration is deeply rooted in her family. Witnessing her grandfather’s quiet strength and her father’s leadership shaped her understanding of responsibility and long-term vision. As a woman, she faced subtle challenges that included being underestimated and having to prove her capability repeatedly. Instead of reacting emotionally, she built structural authority through performance and discipline.
Beyond business, Aishwarya teaches design as a Guest Professor at NIFT and mentors young students to remain connected to the creative world. She is a trained Latin dancer, maintains a disciplined fitness routine, and enjoys golf and squash. She is also closely involved in philanthropy and animal welfare.
For her, success is not merely scale or recognition. It is a responsibility to legacy, people, and the systems one builds. She sees her journey not as an arrival, but one of continuity in honouring her legacy’s past while designing the future.
Anny Paul Khorana, Chief Operating Officer – The Wellness Co. & Board Director – Rollins International Pvt Ltd.

Anny Paul Khorana is the Chief Operating Officer at The Wellness Co. and a Board Director at Rollins International Pvt Ltd. She is a strategic business leader operating at the intersection of operational excellence, expansion strategy, and long-term value creation. Her expertise lies in transforming ambitious vision into structured, scalable, and measurable growth.
From the outset of her career, Anny demonstrated a strong orientation toward systems thinking and disciplined execution. She believes sustainable businesses are not built on ambition alone, but on clarity, accountability, and operational rigor. The healthcare and wellness sector resonated deeply with her because in this domain, precision in execution directly impacts human lives making excellence not optional, but essential.
At The Wellness Co., she has led operational strategy and multi-city expansion, contributing significantly to the brand’s rapid clinic growth. Scaling a healthcare organization requires navigating complexity — balancing expansion with regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, talent development, and brand consistency. Her leadership approach combines decisiveness with structured planning, enabling sustainable scaling without compromising standards.
Throughout her journey, Anny has encountered moments of being underestimated a reality many women in leadership experience. Rather than reacting to perception, she has relied on performance, data-driven decisions, and consistent results to establish authority. Over time, execution dismantles doubt and builds undeniable credibility.
Beyond her executive and board responsibilities, she is committed to mentoring emerging leaders and strengthening organizational culture. She firmly believes that disciplined teams, aligned incentives, and a growth-oriented mindset are the true drivers of enduring success.
Her message to aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals is direct: Vision must be matched by execution. Know your numbers, build resilient systems, make informed decisions, and stay accountable. Motivation fluctuates structure sustains progress.
For Anny, success is not a headline or a milestone. It is a continuous discipline built through strategic decisions, resilience under pressure, and long-term thinking. When focus remains unwavering and standards remain high, growth becomes not accidental, but inevitable.
Dipttii Khanna, Interior designer & Founder – Dipttii Khanna Designs

Dipttii Khanna is an interior designer and the founder of Dipttii Khanna Designs, a studio that specialises in crafting high end residential and commercial spaces. Her design philosophy is rooted in refinement, balance, and personal expression. For her, luxury is not defined by expensive materials alone. It lies in thoughtful planning, attention to detail, and creating spaces that feel timeless, effortless, and deeply connected to the people who inhabit them.
Design was not a calculated career choice for her. It evolved naturally. She was always drawn to beautiful spaces, subtle detailing, and the emotional impact design can have on people. What began as an instinctive interest gradually transformed into clarity of purpose. Once she recognised that design was more than admiration and that it was something she wanted to build a life around, she took the leap with patience and consistency.
Her journey has been shaped by creativity, learning, and steady growth. Like most entrepreneurs, she started small, taking on projects, understanding client expectations, and managing execution firsthand. There were long hours, difficult site days, and moments of uncertainty. But she stayed committed to the craft. Each project strengthened not only her design skills but also her leadership, communication, and resilience. Over time, the scale of her work expanded and her vision matured. Today, she takes pride not just in the projects completed, but in the professional and personal growth that came with building her studio from the ground up.
She draws inspiration from strong, self made women who build their own paths with dedication and integrity. Inspiration also comes from observing everyday life, how people live, how spaces function, and how experiences shape emotions. As a woman in the field, especially in site execution and team management, she often had to prove her capability. Holding her ground required confidence and patience. These challenges strengthened her leadership and shaped her into a more decisive entrepreneur.
Outside of her profession, she finds inspiration through travel. Exploring different cultures and architectural styles brings fresh perspective to her design thinking. She also values time with family and engages in spiritual learning to stay grounded and balanced. These moments away from work allow her to reset and return with renewed clarity and creativity.
Her message to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple and honest. Believe in yourself and your vision. You do not need a perfect plan at the beginning. Stay consistent, stay patient, and keep learning. Challenges are part of the process. When you remain sincere in your work and commit fully to your craft, growth becomes inevitable.
For Dipttii Khanna, success is not a single milestone. It is the journey of building something meaningful over time. It is the trust clients place in her to design their homes and workspaces. It is watching ideas transform into living environments that become part of someone’s daily life. She continues to learn, evolve, and dream bigger, and that ongoing evolution is what keeps her driven every day.
Dr. Nupur Singh, Paediatrician

Dr. Nupur Singh is a paediatrician with a special interest in paediatric endocrinology, focusing on hormonal disorders in children. She runs a modest private practice in Ranchi and also works in collaboration with a few dedicated paediatric hospitals across the city, ensuring specialised care is accessible to families in the region.
Medicine has always been a part of her worldview. Her greatest inspiration is her father, a doctor who dedicated over 35 years of service to the state government healthcare system. Watching his commitment to public service shaped her early aspirations. Like him, Dr. Nupur once envisioned a career within the government setup, with a strong inclination toward medical education and research.
After completing her medical training in Delhi and the NCR region, life took a deeply personal turn with the onset of motherhood. Her priorities shifted, and returning immediately to full-time clinical work was no longer feasible. Alongside this transition, she navigated mental health challenges that ultimately led her to relocate back to her home state, closer to family and emotional support systems.
With time constraints and changing responsibilities, Dr. Nupur made a conscious pivot to private practice and established her own clinic. She currently works on a part-time basis, balancing her professional responsibilities with childcare and mental well-being. While work-life balance remains an ongoing challenge, she approaches it with realism and acceptance, viewing it as the best possible equilibrium for this phase of her life.
Outside of clinical work, she finds grounding in gardening, yoga, and reading. She is also active on social media, where she creates informative content aimed at raising awareness about common childhood health concerns, with particular emphasis on hormone-related issues in children. Through this, she hopes to empower parents with knowledge and early intervention tools.
Dr. Nupur is a firm believer in destiny and trusts that what is meant to find its way will do so in time. She is also a strong advocate for financial literacy and financial independence for women, emphasising the importance of staying informed, thinking long-term, and practicing patience. Her journey reflects resilience, adaptability, and the quiet strength of redefining success on one’s own terms.
Anu AK Bajaj, Spiritual guide & Healing facilitator

Anu AK Bajaj is a spiritual guide and healing facilitator whose work is rooted in deep intuition, inner stillness, and a lifelong connection to spirituality. Drawn to the quieter truths of life from an early age, she has always felt aligned with healing, energy work, and the deeper emotional currents that shape human experience.
Through her practice, she offers Akashic Record readings, Tarot, Numerology, Sound Healing, and Meditation sessions. Her work focuses on helping individuals find clarity, emotional peace, and a stronger alignment with their authentic selves. Rather than predicting outcomes, she sees her role as creating a safe space where people can reconnect with their inner wisdom.
Her journey has unfolded gently and organically. What began as a personal spiritual connection gradually evolved into dedicated study, practice, and eventually sharing her gifts with others. It has not been a linear path. There have been moments of doubt, growth, surrender, and quiet realisation.
Anu draws inspiration from life itself. She is inspired by the resilience of women, by seekers who choose healing despite challenges, and by the symbolic balance of Shiva and Shakti, representing stillness and power, wisdom and grace. This balance guides both her philosophy and her practice.
As a woman, one of the challenges she faced was the expectation to place herself last. Balancing responsibilities while stepping confidently into a spiritual vocation required courage and self belief. There were moments of self questioning, yet she learned that meaningful paths demand faith, first in oneself and then in the larger universe.
Beyond her professional sessions, she finds joy in creative expression. Music, singing, and painting offer her a way to unwind and reconnect inwardly. She also values simple, peaceful moments with family, grounding herself in everyday gratitude.
For aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals, her message is clear. Do not wait for perfect timing. If you feel called toward something, begin with one small step. The path reveals itself as you walk it.
For Anu, success is not about building something external. It is about becoming someone who listened to her inner voice, chose purpose over fear, and embraced growth as a lifelong journey.
Tamanna Dedhia, AstroVastu Consultant

Tamanna Dedhia is an AstroVastu Consultant whose journey is rooted in curiosity, faith, and personal transformation. Her work blends astrology and Vastu to help individuals find clarity, alignment, and direction in their lives.
Her interest in astrology began unexpectedly. A close friend once made a remarkably accurate prediction from her horoscope, and when it manifested, it left a deep impression on her. That moment sparked a genuine curiosity to understand the science and philosophy behind astrology and Vastu. What began as fascination gradually turned into disciplined study and dedicated practice.
When she first stepped onto this path, she did not know where it would lead. She simply followed it with sincerity and belief. Over time, her faith in her work translated into meaningful results for her clients. Each consultation became more than just guidance. It became an opportunity to listen, understand, and help someone navigate their challenges with clarity. Meeting diverse individuals and witnessing positive shifts in their lives strengthened her confidence and reaffirmed her purpose.
Her greatest inspiration is her son. He motivates her to grow, to persevere, and to build something meaningful through dedication. She wants him to witness firsthand that passion combined with hard work can transform dreams into reality.
As a woman, balancing home responsibilities with professional aspirations was not always effortless. There were moments when she had to sacrifice parts of her social life and stretch her energy across multiple roles. However, the unwavering support of her family allowed her to continue moving forward with strength and confidence.
Beyond her professional life, Tamanna enjoys reading and traveling. Reading nurtures her intellectual and spiritual growth, while travel exposes her to diverse energies and perspectives that enrich her AstroVastu practice.
Her message to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple yet powerful. Do not give up on yourself. Believe deeply in what you want to achieve. Work with sincerity and passion, remain committed to your goals, and success will follow as a natural outcome.
For Tamanna, success is not merely about milestones. It is about growth, faith, and making a positive difference in people’s lives. What started as curiosity has evolved into a purpose driven journey, one she continues to walk with gratitude and conviction.
Prerna Khare, Certified Fitness & Nutrition Coach

Prerna Khare is a Certified Fitness and Nutrition Coach specialising in postpartum recovery and healing, with focused expertise in diastasis recti, pelvic health, and building sustainable strength after motherhood. Her work centres on supporting women, particularly new and second-time mothers, in rebuilding their bodies with awareness, patience, and respect rather than pressure or unrealistic timelines.
Fitness was not Prerna’s first career. She spent close to a decade working in finance and compliance within a structured corporate environment. Her transition into health and wellness began after her first pregnancy, when she personally struggled with weight gain, body image concerns, and the lack of credible postpartum guidance. Like many women, she encountered unrealistic expectations placed on new mothers to “bounce back” without adequate support. This experience led her to learn deeply, upskill, and eventually become certified. What began as self-healing gradually evolved into a profession and, over time, into a clear sense of purpose.
Prerna’s journey has been one of reinvention. She initially worked with corporate professionals on weight loss and general fitness. However, after her second pregnancy, her perspective shifted entirely. She experienced postpartum pain, functional challenges, and emotional overwhelm that were often dismissed or normalised. This personal experience highlighted a larger gap in women’s healthcare. Postpartum recovery in India remains largely neglected, both medically and socially. Recognising this, Prerna consciously narrowed her focus to support women during one of the most vulnerable phases of their lives.
Today, her work extends far beyond exercise plans. It is rooted in education, awareness, healing, and restoring dignity to motherhood. She helps women understand their bodies, recover safely, and rebuild confidence without shame or guilt.
Prerna draws her inspiration from real women and mothers who show up every day despite exhaustion, pain, and self-doubt. As a woman and a mother, she has faced being taken less seriously, being told to “adjust,” and hearing dismissive phrases that minimise postpartum struggles. Learning to balance motherhood, work, and personal growth without guilt has been one of her most challenging yet transformative lessons.
Beyond coaching, Prerna actively creates educational content on Instagram, hosts weekly live sessions on postpartum recovery, and mentors women who are rebuilding confidence after childbirth. She is deeply invested in long-term systemic change and aspires to help establish structured postpartum care departments in hospitals and nursing homes across India.
For Prerna, success is not defined by numbers or visibility alone. It is measured by impact. If her work helps even one woman feel less broken, less ashamed, and more supported after motherhood, she considers her journey meaningful. She continues to grow and learn, deeply aligned with her purpose, and committed to changing the narrative around postpartum care.
Rhea, Interior designer & Founder – Leur Interiors

Rhea is an interior designer and the founder of Leur Interiors, a studio dedicated to creating functional, modern, and thoughtfully designed spaces. Her work reflects a balance of aesthetics and practicality, ensuring that every project is both visually refined and deeply livable.
Interior design has always been part of her world. She grew up closely connected to the industry through her family brand, Kopek Kitchens, which has been operating in the modular kitchen and wardrobe segment for over 25 years. Watching spaces transform, understanding materials in depth, and witnessing how design influences everyday living naturally drew her toward the profession.
Her journey has been a blend of legacy and hands-on experience. While she inherited strong foundational exposure to the industry, she consciously chose to build her own identity as a designer. Over the years, she has independently managed client consultations, design planning, site execution, and on-ground coordination, successfully completing over 30 turnkey residential and commercial projects.
Each project has sharpened her understanding of space planning, materials, timelines, budgeting, and client expectations. Today, this cumulative experience enables her to handle end-to-end interior projects with clarity, precision, and accountability, ensuring that every space she designs feels intentional and well resolved.
Rhea draws inspiration from women across industries who have built their own paths with resilience, grace, and determination. Working in a site-driven and largely male-dominated industry has not always been easy. Establishing credibility on construction sites and navigating preconceived notions about capability required confidence and consistency. Over time, she has learned that when vision is clear and professionalism remains intact, quality work ultimately commands respect.
Beyond her professional life, Rhea is deeply passionate about travel and exploration. Travel plays a significant role in shaping her design sensibility. Different cultures, textures, colours, and spatial experiences continuously influence her creative process. Through her travel page, @explorewith_rhea, she shares her journeys through an aesthetic lens, drawing inspiration from architecture, interiors, and the unique character of each destination. Travel keeps her perspective fresh, curious, and evolving.
Her message to aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals is straightforward. Do not wait for the perfect moment because it rarely arrives. Start with what you know, learn through experience, and allow yourself to grow. Consistency will take you further than perfection. Trust your vision, even when it is still evolving, because clarity comes through action.
For Rhea, success is not measured only by completed projects. It is defined by the trust she builds, the long-term relationships she nurtures, and the spaces she creates that truly feel like home.

As India celebrates Republic Day 2027, the nation honours the vision, dedication and extraordinary contributions of doctors who continue to strengthen its healthcare system and transform countless lives. From advancing medical science and pioneering innovative treatments to expanding access to quality healthcare and serving communities with compassion, these medical professionals exemplify the spirit of service, excellence and nation-building.
“Republic Day 2027: Honouring 10 Visionary Doctors of India” celebrates ten distinguished medical professionals whose expertise, leadership and commitment to patient care are making a lasting difference in the lives of people and contributing to a healthier, stronger and more resilient India.
. Harleen Gandhi Kalsi, Founder – Meraki Dental Studio

Dr. Harleen Gandhi Kalsi is an aesthetic dentist, educator, entrepreneur, and founder of Meraki Dental Studio in New Delhi. With a philosophy rooted in clinical excellence and personalized care, she has dedicated her career to helping people rediscover confidence through beautiful, healthy smiles.
Drawn to the unique blend of science, artistry, and human connection that dentistry offers, she found her calling in a profession that transforms not just oral health, but self-esteem and quality of life. Over the years, she has expanded her role beyond patient care, mentoring fellow dentists and contributing to the profession through lectures and educational programs.
Her journey has been one of courage and perseverance. Coming from a small city and moving to Delhi after marriage, she entered one of the country’s most competitive markets without the advantage of a medical background or established network. Beginning her career in a corporate dental chain before transitioning into private practice, she eventually took a leap of faith and founded Meraki Dental Studio in 2016.
The path was far from easy. Three clinic relocations, the uncertainty brought by two COVID lockdowns, and the challenges of building a brand from scratch tested her resilience. Yet, every obstacle strengthened her conviction and helped shape Meraki Dental Studio into one of India’s trusted destinations for aesthetic dentistry.
One of her greatest inspirations is the iconic artist Frida Kahlo, whose courage and authenticity taught her the power of turning adversity into strength. As a woman entrepreneur and mother of twins, balancing the demands of family and a growing practice often felt overwhelming. Those experiences, however, taught her adaptability, patience, and the importance of a strong support system.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Harleen is passionate about education and travel. She regularly conducts workshops and lectures in aesthetic dentistry and aligner therapy, finding immense fulfillment in sharing knowledge and helping young professionals grow.
Her message to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple: stop waiting for the perfect moment. Start with what you have, trust the process, and keep showing up consistently. Success, she believes, is not about perfection but persistence.
For Dr. Harleen Gandhi Kalsi, the greatest reward lies not in accolades, but in seeing patients smile with confidence, empowering fellow dentists, and inspiring others to pursue their dreams with courage and conviction.

The daughter of veteran actor Neena Gupta, Masaba embarked on her fashion journey at just 19, debuting with a collection at Lakme Fashion Week. Masaba’s innate flair for fashion, coupled with a passionate attitude, led her to recognize her true calling. Breaking barriers, she became the first Indian designer to host a fashion show on Instagram, showcasing her innovative approach.
Despite initial challenges, Masaba’s persistence and creative prowess have seen her collaborate with renowned fashion brands.
Neha Sachde, Aesthetic Dermatologist, Founder – Metamorphosis Clinic

Dr. Neha Sachde is an Aesthetic Dermatologist and the Founder of Metamorphosis Clinic, one of India’s leading aesthetic and wellness clinic chains with nine centres across Mumbai and Delhi. A gold medalist in her MD, she has built a brand that combines evidence-based dermatology with cutting-edge aesthetic treatments, creating a trusted destination for skin health and confidence.
Medicine was her first calling, but entrepreneurship became her purpose. While clinical practice gave her the opportunity to transform individual lives, she envisioned something much larger—a platform that could elevate the standards of aesthetic dermatology in India. With that vision, she founded Metamorphosis Clinic, determined to create a space where science, ethics, and beauty coexist. What began as a single clinic has steadily grown into a respected multi-city brand known for delivering safe, personalized, and medically driven aesthetic care.
Over the past decade, Dr. Sachde has expanded Metamorphosis one clinic at a time, remaining committed to the belief that aesthetic medicine should always be rooted in scientific evidence rather than shortcuts or trends. Alongside building a successful healthcare enterprise, she has embraced multiple roles as a wife, mother of two, daughter, and entrepreneur, proving that professional ambition and personal life can strengthen rather than compete with each other.
Her greatest inspiration comes from the women she treats every day. Watching patients regain confidence and rediscover self-belief through thoughtful, ethical care continually reminds her why she chose this path. As a woman leading a business at the intersection of medicine, aesthetics, and entrepreneurship, she has often found herself having to establish credibility both as a doctor and as a founder. Balancing the responsibilities of scaling a growing company while raising a family has been demanding, but she believes that building a strong support system is one of the greatest strengths a leader can have.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Sachde is deeply involved in education and professional development through Metaderm Academy, where she trains and mentors young dermatologists, delivers academic lectures and workshops, and writes about skin health, entrepreneurship, and aesthetic medicine. She remains passionate about nurturing the next generation of doctors while contributing to the advancement of the specialty.
Her advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is clear: don’t wait for the perfect moment to begin. Start with what you have, stay consistent, and remember that while innovation may attract attention, it is discipline, integrity, and genuine care that build lasting success. She also encourages women to trust that ambition and compassion can coexist.
For Dr. Neha Sachde, Metamorphosis has never been about vanity—it has always been about confidence. Every treatment, every clinic, and every patient reflects her larger mission: helping people feel comfortable in their own skin while raising the benchmark for ethical, science-led aesthetic care in India.

The daughter of veteran actor Neena Gupta, Masaba embarked on her fashion journey at just 19, debuting with a collection at Lakme Fashion Week. Breaking barriers, she became the first Indian designer to host a fashion show on Instagram, showcasing her innovative approach.
Despite initial challenges, Masaba’s persistence and creative prowess have seen her collaborate with renowned fashion brands.
Anushruti, Founder – KLISTEL

For Anushruti, KLISTEL was born long before it had a name.
Its beginnings can be traced to her childhood in Dehradun, in a home where art was not simply displayed but lived. Her mother, professionally trained in Indian classical music, was also a painter and an instinctive maker who created beautiful clothes by hand. Watching her work, Anushruti developed an early appreciation for craftsmanship, detail and the time it takes to create something beautiful. What she learnt at home would eventually become the foundation of her design philosophy.
Today, Anushruti is the founder and creative force behind KLISTEL, a luxury children’s occasionwear house based in Gurugram that brings together Indian craftsmanship, contemporary refinement and the emotional significance of childhood memories.
Her path to building the brand was shaped by nearly fifteen years in the fashion industry. A graduate of NIFT, she furthered her education with certification from the University of the Arts London and gained experience across fashion, couture and manufacturing, including working alongside celebrated Indian designer Raghavendra Rathore. These experiences strengthened her understanding of garment construction, artisanal techniques and the precision required to create exceptional clothing.
Having explored the industry and gained international exposure, Anushruti eventually returned to India with a desire to build something of her own—something that would combine her professional experience with the artistic sensibility she had inherited from her mother. That vision became KLISTEL.
At its heart, KLISTEL is an heirloom-led children’s fashion house. Its garments are designed around the moments families want to remember: a child’s first Diwali, a sibling celebration on Raksha Bandhan, a family wedding or a festive morning spent with grandparents. For Anushruti, these occasions are about more than dressing well. They become memories preserved in photographs, stories and, sometimes, the garments themselves.
Within KLISTEL’s own design and manufacturing unit in Gurugram, these ideas take shape through delicate embroidery, artisanal handwork and carefully selected textiles, including Chanderi, organza and soft mulmul linings. The silhouettes are thoughtfully considered, with an emphasis on refinement rather than excess. KLISTEL is also available through Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop, extending its presence within India’s luxury designer fashion landscape.
Motherhood has added another layer of meaning to Anushruti’s work. As a mother to her daughter, Shambhavi, she understands that children experience clothing differently from adults. An outfit must allow a child to run, dance, sit comfortably through a family celebration and enjoy being a child. This understanding informs everything from garment construction to the choice of linings against delicate skin. At KLISTEL, comfort is not separate from luxury; it is an essential part of it.
Building the brand has also required resilience. Working in a manufacturing ecosystem that remains largely male-dominated, Anushruti has encountered situations where her technical knowledge and authority were not immediately recognised. She has responded by remaining confident in her expertise while leading with empathy and maintaining high standards of quality and execution.
The women in her life continue to shape her journey. Her mother gave her an instinct for art, her sister represents solidarity, and her daughter has given her ambitions a deeper purpose. Together, they form an invisible thread running through KLISTEL: a story of creativity, strength and continuity across generations.
Looking ahead, Anushruti hopes to establish KLISTEL as a globally recognised luxury children’s fashion house rooted in Indian craftsmanship. She envisions taking the country’s artisanal traditions to international audiences without losing the intimacy and authenticity that define the brand.
For her, success is not measured by numbers alone. It lies in families returning to the brand, artisans being valued for their skill, and garments being carefully stored long after a celebration because they have become too meaningful to discard.
Her understanding of luxury ultimately comes down to one word: time. Time devoted to learning a craft, time invested by an artisan, and time taken to make something with care. Beyond fashion, it is time spent with her daughter, parents and siblings moments that become increasingly precious as life moves forward.
KLISTEL is, in many ways, Anushruti’s attempt to preserve those moments. What began with a little girl watching her mother create beautiful things has become a fashion house carrying that same sensibility into the next generation. Through every garment, she continues a story that began long before the brand had a name.
Gargi Deshmukh, Interior Architect & Associate – Studioarchitectonic

Gargi Deshmukh is an Interior Architect and Associate at Studioarchitectonic, a multidisciplinary Architecture, Interior Architecture and Design & Build practice that she works alongside her husband, architect Gaurav Deshmukh. With a portfolio spanning corporate, hospitality, industrial, institutional and residential spaces across India, the practice brings together architecture, interior design and execution under one roof.
With a legacy spanning five decades, Studioarchitectonic represents both continuity and evolution. For Gargi, being part of this legacy is an opportunity to respect the foundation created over the years while introducing a contemporary approach to design. Her philosophy goes beyond aesthetics. She believes meaningful design comes from creating an intelligent relationship between architecture, materiality, functionality and the people who experience a space.
Her connection with design began with an instinctive fascination for spaces. Proportion, light, texture, detailing and the subtle elements that make an environment feel thoughtful always caught her attention. Over time, architecture and interiors became more than a profession. They became a way of understanding how people interact with their surroundings. Working alongside Gaurav has further allowed her to explore two complementary perspectives, with architecture establishing the larger framework and interior architecture shaping the experience within it.
Her professional journey has been shaped by diverse projects, evolving briefs and the relationships built along the way. Studioarchitectonic has worked across multiple sectors and cities, adapting its design approach to different requirements while maintaining a focus on refinement, proportion and relevance. For Gargi, the real growth of a designer comes when design is no longer about creating a recognisable signature style, but about understanding the identity of each space and responding to it authentically.
She draws inspiration from people who demonstrate quiet excellence and allow their work to speak for itself. As a woman navigating a demanding professional environment, she has experienced the complexities of balancing professional responsibilities with expectations at home and within relationships. Rather than becoming louder to establish her presence, she has chosen to become more informed, confident and assured in her decisions. She believes that confidence does not always need to dominate a room; sometimes, it is simply reflected in the conviction behind the choices one makes.
Beyond design, Gargi enjoys travel, architecture, fashion, art, jewellery, music and discovering beautiful experiences. Fitness is also an important part of her life, giving her a sense of discipline, strength and balance. Travel, in particular, has become an extension of her education, allowing her to observe how different cultures approach luxury, hospitality, craftsmanship and everyday living.
Her advice to aspiring professionals is straightforward: build substance before chasing success. She believes in developing one’s craft, understanding the business behind the profession, remaining curious and surrounding oneself with people who bring different strengths and perspectives. Most importantly, she encourages people not to dilute their individuality simply to fit someone else’s definition of success.
For Gargi, success is not defined by a single milestone. It is the ability to build with integrity, collaborate with people and brands she respects, and watch an idea evolve from a sketch into a space that becomes part of someone’s everyday life. It is also about continuity: respecting what came before while having the courage to add something new.
After years in the profession, she continues to find excitement in beautiful spaces, new materials, unexpected ideas and evolving projects. Perhaps that is what makes her journey distinctive: the privilege of inheriting a legacy, adding her own chapter to it, and remaining curious about what comes next.
Vernika Verma, Founder – Brands and Branches

Vernika Verma is an entrepreneur in the franchise and hospitality industry, working across cafés, lounges, restaurants and nightclubs. As the driving force behind Brands and Branches, she is focused on creating opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs to enter the hospitality sector with greater clarity, the right brand and a structured business model.
Her journey began with recognising a significant opportunity in the industry. While hospitality continues to attract entrepreneurs, entering the sector can be challenging without the right concept, guidance and operational framework. Vernika saw the potential to bridge that gap and, together with her partner, built Brands and Branches with the vision of helping entrepreneurs turn their aspirations into viable hospitality ventures.
The journey has been shaped by passion, challenges, learning and continuous growth. For Vernika, however, the most fulfilling part of building the business has not simply been its own growth, but witnessing other people take their first steps into entrepreneurship. Helping aspiring business owners transform an idea into a functioning hospitality venture has become one of the defining achievements of her professional journey.
Her inspiration comes from women who have the courage to dream and create something of their own. As a woman operating in a competitive and dynamic industry, she has encountered challenges that have tested her resilience. Rather than allowing those challenges to become limitations, Vernika has relied on self-belief and persistence to keep moving forward. She believes that building a successful career requires the confidence to take decisions, learn from setbacks and remain committed to a larger vision.
Outside her professional responsibilities, Vernika enjoys learning, networking and discovering new ideas within the hospitality space. Travelling and exploring emerging hospitality concepts allow her to understand changing consumer preferences and industry trends, while time with family keeps her grounded.
Her advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple: believe in yourself and do not wait until everything feels perfect. Starting before you feel completely ready can be the first step towards discovering what you are capable of. Failure, she believes, should not be feared; it is often part of the learning process that accompanies meaningful growth.
For Vernika, success extends beyond building a business. It lies in creating opportunities for others and helping more entrepreneurs write their own success stories. Through Brands and Branches, her larger vision is to build strong hospitality brands while empowering aspiring business owners with the opportunity, structure and confidence to build something of their own.
Shanthi Krishnan, Fitness Coach

Shanthi Krishnan is a Chartered Accountant by qualification, but for the past decade, she has been a full-time fitness coach. What began as a personal battle with asthma eventually became a passion, a profession and a way of life.
Her fitness journey started with a simple goal: to build enough stamina to walk without struggling. Walking gradually turned into running, and running soon became an almost unstoppable passion. Having spent nearly a decade in the corporate world as a Chartered Accountant, Shanthi initially balanced her career with fitness coaching. Over time, however, she realised that while her CA career was rewarding, coaching gave her something far more meaningful: the opportunity to change people’s lives.
She began by training children before moving on to adults, runners, and strength and endurance athletes. Today, her greatest reward is watching people become stronger, more confident and capable than they once believed possible.
Her biggest inspiration has always been her mother, who lived with a physical disability and a medical condition for which there was no cure. Despite needing support to move independently, she never allowed her circumstances to define her. Her grit and determination continue to inspire Shanthi.
Leaving behind a secure corporate career and a steady salary was not an easy decision, but Shanthi believes that sometimes pursuing what truly matters requires a leap of faith. She credits hard work, continuous learning and perseverance for helping her build a career she loves.
For her, success is not measured only by medals or milestones. It is seeing someone complete their first 5K, become stronger, or simply discover the joy of movement. She started running to breathe and move without struggling. Today, movement is her profession, passion and a huge part of who she is.
Priti Verma, Founder – Pretty Dangles

Priti Verma’s professional journey is defined by an unusual but powerful combination of leadership, technology, creativity and women’s empowerment. An Agile Coach and IT Project Manager, she helps teams work with greater clarity, collaboration and adaptability. Alongside her corporate career, she is also the Founder of Pretty Dangles, a handcrafted jewellery brand created exclusively by female artisans.
Her Agile journey began after moving to the United States, where she found herself rebuilding both her professional identity and her understanding of leadership. Agile principles such as empathy, transparency and continuous improvement resonated deeply with her own values. What began as a professional transition eventually became a space where she could combine her experience in technology with her natural inclination towards people and problem-solving.
Pretty Dangles emerged from a different passion—her appreciation for global artistry and her desire to create meaningful opportunities for women. She envisioned a brand where every piece carries a story while the women behind its creation receive a platform to showcase their talent. Over time, this vision expanded into a larger commitment to supporting women in building confidence, financial independence and professional identities of their own.
Her journey has taken her from the Himalayan foothills of Dehradun to Tampa Bay, across significant personal and professional transitions. She moved from geology into technology, grew into an Agile Coach and simultaneously built an entrepreneurial venture rooted in craftsmanship and empowerment. Today, she also works with female entrepreneurs across the globe, mentoring them in areas of entrepreneurship, leadership and personal growth.
Like any journey of reinvention, hers has included self-doubt, cultural transitions and the challenge of balancing multiple roles. Rather than seeing these experiences as obstacles alone, Priti has allowed them to strengthen her sense of purpose. She draws inspiration from women who continue to pursue their ambitions with courage, grace and determination.
Her interests extend well beyond her professional roles. Priti is deeply connected to wellness, movement and cultural arts. Trained in Salsa, Bachata and Bhangra and certified as a Zumba instructor, she uses dance as another avenue through which women can discover confidence, joy and a sense of self. She also values continuous learning, networking and mentoring.
Her message to aspiring professionals and entrepreneurs is simple: start before you feel ready. A journey does not need to be perfect to be meaningful. Invest in yourself, trust your voice and surround yourself with people who encourage your growth.
For Priti, success is ultimately rooted in sisterhood. Whether through Pretty Dangles, where women artisans create together, or through the women she mentors, her work is centred on creating spaces where women feel seen, valued and empowered. She believes that when women support one another, the impact extends far beyond the individual—and entire communities can rise together.
Mallika Khangura, Co-Founder – Wellnesss Wave India

Mallika Khangura is the Co-Founder of Wellnesss Wave India, a next-generation beauty and wellness platform that combines science, technology, and personalised care to redefine how people approach skin health and overall wellbeing. Having recently completed her Master’s in Law in London, she brings a fresh global perspective to entrepreneurship, proving that innovation often happens at the intersection of different disciplines.
Wellnesss Wave India was born from a shared vision between Mallika and her father, an experienced international entrepreneur. While living in London, she became fascinated by the growing convergence of beauty, preventive healthcare, and technology. She recognized an opportunity to introduce a more holistic approach to the Indian market—one that moves beyond cosmetic treatments and focuses on education, consistency, and long-term wellness.
Together, they have built Wellnesss Wave India as more than a skincare brand. The company offers luxury at-home and in-salon wellness experiences, advanced skincare technologies, professional skincare solutions, and science-backed wellness products designed to support health from the inside out. By integrating personalised consultations with innovative technologies such as PRYSM iO, the platform empowers individuals to invest in prevention rather than correction.
One of the company’s biggest achievements has been laying the foundation for a comprehensive beauty and wellness ecosystem through strategic partnerships with globally recognized brands and a service model built around personalization. Rather than simply selling products, Wellnesss Wave India aims to create lasting wellness routines tailored to every individual.
Like any startup, the journey has come with challenges. Introducing new technologies into an evolving market required significant consumer education while simultaneously building operations and maintaining exceptional customer experiences. These experiences reinforced Mallika’s belief that adaptability, continuous learning, and resilience are essential qualities for every entrepreneur.
As a young entrepreneur, she believes that collaboration is one of the greatest drivers of success. By fostering open communication, encouraging new ideas, and creating a supportive team culture, Wellnesss Wave India continues to grow while staying true to its mission of making science-backed wellness more accessible.
Looking ahead, Mallika envisions Wellnesss Wave India becoming one of India’s leading beauty and wellness platforms by expanding its at-home services, strengthening partnerships with salons and wellness professionals, and continuing to educate consumers about preventive health.
Her message to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple: never let age or experience limit your ambition. Stay curious, embrace every challenge as an opportunity to learn, and trust that consistent effort, guided by a clear vision, will always create meaningful results.

It is about creating value, developing meaningful relationships, empowering others and proving that a career can continually evolve.
