Dr. Maulik Mori is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist and the founder of Saachi Women’s Care, Rajkot, a center built on the principles of trust, ethics, and compassionate care. With expertise in high-risk obstetrics, infertility evaluation, preventive women’s health, and advanced laparoscopic surgery, his mission has always been to ensure that every woman receives evidence-based treatment with dignity and empathy.
Born in Junagadh, Gujarat, Dr. Mori discovered his calling during medical school, realizing that Obstetrics and Gynecology offered the unique privilege of supporting women through some of life’s most significant moments. The responsibility of caring for both mother and child inspired him to dedicate his career to this specialty.
After completing his MBBS, he pursued a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and later trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery. He also contributed to important national research initiatives, including the DHANI Trial on DHA supplementation during pregnancy and the CHAMPIONS Trial evaluating Carbetocin in preventing postpartum hemorrhage.
His career began at GMERS Medical College, Junagadh, followed by practice at Sahyog Multispeciality Hospital in Rajkot. In early 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic, he founded Saachi Women’s Care. Navigating high-risk pregnancies and critical cases during the pandemic alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team became one of the most defining experiences of his career, reinforcing his belief that compassion and teamwork save lives.
As patient trust grew, Saachi Women’s Care expanded into its own dedicated facility in Rajkot, offering comprehensive women’s healthcare with advanced diagnostics and multidisciplinary support under one roof.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Mori actively promotes women’s health awareness through social media and educational initiatives, simplifying topics related to pregnancy, infertility, preventive healthcare, and vaccinations. He remains committed to lifelong learning through conferences and continued medical education.
Inspired by his parents, mentors, and patients, Dr. Mori believes that success lies not in awards but in the trust families place in their doctor. His advice to young professionals is simple: pursue excellence, stay ethical, and let compassion guide your work.
For him, success is reflected in a mother’s smile after a safe delivery, the first cry of a healthy newborn, and the confidence with which families return years later.
