India’s physiotherapy landscape is undergoing a remarkable transformation, driven by passionate professionals who are redefining recovery, mobility, and quality of life. From sports rehabilitation to neurological care and post-surgical recovery, these experts are not just treating conditions—they are restoring confidence and independence in countless lives.
This special edition, “Success Stories: Top 10 Physiotherapists Transforming Lives Across India,” celebrates the journeys of these inspiring healers whose dedication, innovation, and patient-centric approach continue to set new benchmarks in modern rehabilitation care.
Dr. Barkha Jasani, Physiotherapist, Founder – Lifetime Physio Care

Dr. Barkha Jasani is a physiotherapist and the founder of Lifetime Physio Care. With a passion for rehabilitation and holistic healing, she has dedicated her career to helping people recover stronger, move better, and lead healthier lives.
Born and raised in Rajkot, Gujarat, Dr. Jasani completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from RK University. Ever since childhood, Mumbai had been a dream city for her, and that dream came true when she moved there for her internship at Brahma Kumaris’ Global Hospital & Research Centre, managing BSES M.G. Hospital. Soon after, she joined Qi Spine Clinic, where she discovered her passion for spine rehabilitation. Although she initially planned to pursue a master’s degree, family responsibilities took priority. What began as a job eventually became an eight-year journey of learning, growth, and transforming countless lives. After working independently as a freelance physiotherapist for the last two years, she went on to establish Lifetime Physio Care.
Interestingly, physiotherapy was not her original plan. Her mother and masi always wanted her to pursue healthcare, while her father strongly believed physiotherapy would be the right path. Looking back today, Dr. Jasani considers it one of life’s greatest blessings. What began as a decision guided by family eventually became her purpose.
Her greatest inspirations have been her godfather, mother, and masi, along with the unwavering support of her family and friends. Losing her mother was one of the most difficult chapters of her life, but the love and strength she received from those around her helped her overcome the loss and move forward with resilience.
As a woman, balancing professional aspirations with personal responsibilities has not always been easy. Yet, she believes that patience, perseverance, and self-belief make it possible to navigate even the toughest phases of life.
Beyond physiotherapy, Dr. Jasani enjoys dancing, singing, music, drawing, swimming, travelling, spending time in nature, and experimenting in the kitchen. She believes life should be enjoyed fully and that personal passions help maintain balance and happiness.
Her message to aspiring professionals is simple: give your work your heart, mind, and soul. Stay committed to the process, trust the journey, and focus on showing up consistently. Success, she believes, is built quietly through patience, hard work, and faith in oneself.
For Dr. Barkha Jasani, success is not a destination but a continuous journey of growth. Every challenge has made her stronger, every experience has taught her valuable lessons, and every patient she helps reinforces her purpose. Above all, she believes in staying grounded, enjoying the journey, and never losing faith in oneself.
Dr. Jhanvi K. Rathod, Physiotherapist & Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT)

Dr. Jhanvi K. Rathod is a Physiotherapist and Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) currently working at Asian Physiotherapy and Research Institute, Surat. A graduate of SPB Physiotherapy College, Surat, her journey into the profession is one of resilience, perseverance and an unwavering refusal to give up.
Until Class 10, Jhanvi was a bright student, consistently scoring between 80 and 90 percent. However, the years that followed brought a series of setbacks she could never have anticipated. From Class 11 and 12 to NEET, GUJCET and her first year of college, she faced more than ten failures across examinations and academic milestones over nearly seven and a half years. Not once during that period did she clear an exam on her first attempt.
There came a point when the repeated setbacks made her consider giving up on her studies altogether. It was then that her family became her strongest support system. They continued to believe in her even when she struggled to believe in herself. Her father, Ketan M. Rathod, played a particularly important role in helping her find a new direction. When she was ready to leave her studies, he secured her admission into Physiotherapy—a decision that eventually changed the course of her life.
Today, Jhanvi looks back at those difficult years differently. What once felt like failure after failure became the foundation of her resilience. She is now actively building her professional identity through clinical work, research, conferences and public awareness. She regularly attends conferences and presents research, while also creating physiotherapy awareness content to make useful information accessible to students and the public.
Her father remains the person she most admires. Ketan M. Rathod taught her lessons that extend far beyond academics—from punctuality and handling important responsibilities to maintaining relationships and treating people with fairness. She recalls how he would often arrive at hospitals and clinics before her while she was applying for opportunities. His consistency and balanced approach to people are qualities she hopes to embody.
Jhanvi also believes strongly in giving back. She has voluntarily worked as an on-field physiotherapist at two state-level powerlifting competitions and a taekwondo competition in Surat, and has participated in a free health camp. These experiences allow her to contribute beyond her regular clinical responsibilities while strengthening her connection with the community.
As a young professional, she is still at the beginning of her journey, but her message comes from personal experience: never give up. Failure, even repeated failure, does not determine where someone will ultimately reach. Sometimes the path demands that you try, fail, learn and try again—more times than you ever imagined.
For Jhanvi, success is still being written. But after everything she has overcome, one thing is certain: she is no longer defined by the examinations she failed, but by the determination with which she kept moving forward.
Dr. Sneha Tiwari, Sports Rehabilitation Specialist, Founder – Momentum Sports Clinic & Sneha Sports Physio Academy

Dr. Sneha Tiwari is a Sports Physiotherapist, Sports Rehabilitation Specialist, entrepreneur and speaker, and the Founder of Momentum Sports Clinic and Sneha Sports Physio Academy. With over seven years of professional experience, her work spans sports rehabilitation, injury prevention, pain management, strength and conditioning, and helping athletes return to their sport stronger and more confident.
Her journey into physiotherapy began with cricket. A cricketer herself, Dr. Sneha represented Hyderabad at the U-16 and U-19 levels as a wicketkeeper and batter. At 18, an ACL injury abruptly changed the course of her sporting journey. Rehabilitation introduced her to physiotherapy and showed her the transformative role it could play—not only in healing physical injuries, but also in rebuilding confidence and helping people return to what they love. What began as a setback eventually became her purpose.
After completing her BPT and MPT, she pursued specialised education in sports physiotherapy and football medicine, along with international certifications and rehabilitation programmes. Her professional journey has since taken her into high-performance sporting environments, where she has worked with athletes and teams including state cricket teams, men’s Ranji and U-23 teams and women’s cricket.
Building Momentum Sports Clinic marked another important chapter. Entrepreneurship demanded an entirely different skill set from clinical practice. Alongside treating patients, she had to learn leadership, finance, branding, marketing, operations, team building and business strategy. Her vision has consequently expanded beyond a conventional clinic: she aims to build a sports rehabilitation, performance and wellness ecosystem that can take people from pain to performance.
Her inspiration comes from people who continue to grow despite adversity, along with the mentors, athletes and patients who have shaped her perspective. As a woman entrepreneur, establishing credibility, making difficult decisions independently and navigating spaces where women can sometimes be underestimated have been challenges. Rather than allowing these experiences to define her, Dr. Sneha has used them to strengthen her identity and let her work speak for itself.
Education is another important part of her journey. Through Sneha Sports Physio Academy, she conducts workshops and educational programmes for students and young professionals. She also speaks at professional platforms, including TEDx and national conferences, and creates educational content to make scientific knowledge around injuries, rehabilitation, recovery and performance more accessible.
Her message to aspiring professionals is to start before they feel completely ready. Skills, knowledge, networks and character are built through action, learning and consistency. For women especially, she believes there should be no hesitation in taking up space and creating an identity of their own.
For Dr. Sneha, her story can be summed up simply: she turned her biggest setback into her biggest purpose. From athlete to physiotherapist, educator, speaker and entrepreneur, every stage has shaped her vision. Success, she believes, is ultimately about impact—helping an athlete return to the field, helping someone overcome pain, inspiring the next generation of physiotherapists or creating better standards of rehabilitation.
And fittingly, Momentum represents more than her organisation. It represents her philosophy: keep moving forward, keep learning and keep creating momentum.

Dr. Harleen Gandhi Kalsi, Founder – Meraki Dental Studio

Dr. Harleen Gandhi Kalsi is an aesthetic dentist, educator, entrepreneur, and founder of Meraki Dental Studio in New Delhi. With a philosophy rooted in clinical excellence and personalized care, she has dedicated her career to helping people rediscover confidence through beautiful, healthy smiles.
Drawn to the unique blend of science, artistry, and human connection that dentistry offers, she found her calling in a profession that transforms not just oral health, but self-esteem and quality of life. Over the years, she has expanded her role beyond patient care, mentoring fellow dentists and contributing to the profession through lectures and educational programs.
Her journey has been one of courage and perseverance. Coming from a small city and moving to Delhi after marriage, she entered one of the country’s most competitive markets without the advantage of a medical background or established network. Beginning her career in a corporate dental chain before transitioning into private practice, she eventually took a leap of faith and founded Meraki Dental Studio in 2016.
The path was far from easy. Three clinic relocations, the uncertainty brought by two COVID lockdowns, and the challenges of building a brand from scratch tested her resilience. Yet, every obstacle strengthened her conviction and helped shape Meraki Dental Studio into one of India’s trusted destinations for aesthetic dentistry.
One of her greatest inspirations is the iconic artist Frida Kahlo, whose courage and authenticity taught her the power of turning adversity into strength. As a woman entrepreneur and mother of twins, balancing the demands of family and a growing practice often felt overwhelming. Those experiences, however, taught her adaptability, patience, and the importance of a strong support system.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Harleen is passionate about education and travel. She regularly conducts workshops and lectures in aesthetic dentistry and aligner therapy, finding immense fulfillment in sharing knowledge and helping young professionals grow.
Her message to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple: stop waiting for the perfect moment. Start with what you have, trust the process, and keep showing up consistently. Success, she believes, is not about perfection but persistence.
For Dr. Harleen Gandhi Kalsi, the greatest reward lies not in accolades, but in seeing patients smile with confidence, empowering fellow dentists, and inspiring others to pursue their dreams with courage and conviction.
Dr. Gitika Sharda, Founder – Dermanova Aesthetic Clinic,

Dr. Gitika Sharda is the driving force behind Dermanova Aesthetic Clinic, a practice built around her vision of making aesthetic care safe, ethical and deeply personalized. For her, aesthetic medicine is not simply about treatments or appearances; it is about helping people feel more confident while ensuring that their care remains rooted in science, technology and genuine empathy.
Her journey with Dermanova began with a clear intention—to create a space where patients feel heard, understood and comfortable while receiving evidence-based treatments. Turning that vision into reality required much more than clinical expertise. Building the clinic meant continuously upgrading her knowledge, adopting advanced technologies, investing in modern equipment, training a capable team and creating an environment where patients could place their trust.
Over time, every patient interaction became an opportunity to learn and evolve. From addressing acne scars and hair concerns to helping patients achieve healthier skin, Dr. Gitika has found her greatest fulfilment in seeing the difference thoughtful aesthetic care can make to an individual’s confidence and quality of life. Her emphasis remains on natural-looking outcomes, patient safety and informed decision-making.
She continues to keep Dermanova evolving by staying abreast of developments in aesthetic medicine and using social media and community outreach to educate people. Her vision extends beyond building a successful clinic; she wants Dermanova to represent trust, innovation and responsible aesthetic care.
Her biggest inspiration is her family, whose unwavering support has been instrumental throughout her journey. She especially credits her husband, Dr. Sharin, an Orthopaedic Surgeon, and her son, Aryaveer, whom she considers her biggest support system. She also draws inspiration from patients who place their trust in her and from doctors and entrepreneurs who have built their careers through dedication, ethics and continuous learning.
As a woman entrepreneur, balancing professional responsibilities with personal commitments has brought its own challenges. Building credibility, developing a strong team and navigating setbacks required persistence. Yet these experiences strengthened her resilience and taught her the value of empathy, patience and clear communication.
Her message to aspiring professionals is straightforward: believe in your vision, but never stop learning. Success is rarely overnight; it is built through consistency, integrity and the courage to keep moving forward. Starting small is not a limitation—it can be the first step towards something meaningful.
For Dr. Gitika, the success of Dermanova lies not merely in building a business, but in creating a practice that positively impacts people’s lives while remaining true to its values.
Dr. Sonia Oberoi, Celebrity Aesthetic Doctor

For Dr. Sonia Oberoi, aesthetics has always been about more than appearance. It is about understanding individuality, appreciating subtlety and helping people feel confident in their own skin.
Drawn to the intersection of science, artistry and precision, Dr. Oberoi stepped into aesthetics with a simple philosophy: meaningful transformation does not have to mean changing who you are. Over more than 30 years in practice, she has built a distinctive journey creating beautiful smiles and comprehensive total-body makeovers, while championing results that feel refined, natural and personal.
Her journey has been shaped by curiosity and an openness to evolve. She credits women who have forged their own paths with courage, grace and resilience as a constant source of inspiration. Balancing family, professional commitments and an ever-changing industry has brought its share of challenges, but each one has strengthened her resolve to keep learning and moving forward.
Away from her practice, Dr. Oberoi enjoys time with family and friends, travelling, staying active and discovering new experiences. Learning remains an important part of her life, whether through aesthetics, wellness or simply exploring something unfamiliar.
Her advice to those building their own journey is straightforward: believe in your vision, stay consistent and do not let setbacks define you. For Dr. Oberoi, success has never been a final destination. It has been the freedom to remain curious, take risks, reinvent herself and continue creating something meaningful.
After three decades, her greatest achievement may not simply be what she has built, but the passion and purpose that continue to drive what comes next.
Dr. Amit M. Patel, (PT, Ph.D.)

Dr. Amit M. Patel (PT, Ph.D.) is a distinguished physiotherapy academic, researcher, professional governance contributor, and educator with more than 19 years of experience across physiotherapy education, postgraduate training, research, academic leadership, innovation, and professional development. He currently serves as a Senior Lecturer and PG Guide for MPT (Musculoskeletal Sciences) at JG College of Physiotherapy, affiliated with Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. He is also a Part-time Committee Member (Western Zone) of the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi, and a Committee Member of the Gujarat State Allied and Healthcare Council (GSAHC), Ministry of Health and Family welfare, Government of Gujarat.
His journey into physiotherapy began with an interest in healthcare, human anatomy, movement and rehabilitation. The possibility of helping people overcome pain, injuries, physical limitations and disabilities while regaining their independence drew him towards the profession. As he progressed, he discovered that physiotherapy offered the perfect combination of scientific knowledge, clinical expertise, compassion and meaningful human interaction. Over time, what began as a career evolved into a deeper commitment to improving lives through patient care, education, research and knowledge sharing.
His professional journey has been shaped by a combination of clinical exposure, teaching, postgraduate education, research and continuous learning. His academic interests and commitment to evidence-based practice have led him to mentor students and contribute extensively to physiotherapy literature. His portfolio includes five copyrights, four Indian patents, two international patents, 49 research publications and co-authorship of 31 book chapters. Each stage of his career has strengthened his belief in lifelong learning and the importance of contributing to the growth of the profession.
His mother remains one of his greatest sources of inspiration. Her unconditional support, simplicity, patience and unwavering faith in him have helped him navigate challenges with resilience. Balancing teaching, research, professional responsibilities and continuous development has not always been easy. Demanding schedules, limited resources and the pressure to maintain high standards have tested him at various stages, but he has consistently viewed challenges as opportunities to learn and grow.
Beyond his academic responsibilities, Dr. Patel has contributed to international academic and professional initiatives. He has served as a Visiting Professor at several internationally renowned universities and has been associated with global health and sports organisations in various professional capacities, allowing him to collaborate with experts and remain connected with developments around the world.
Photography provides another creative dimension to his life. A passionate hobbyist photographer for nearly two decades, he has received national and international awards and accolades, along with prestigious photography fellowships from the Netherlands and Austria. For him, photography offers an opportunity to observe the world differently, preserve meaningful moments and maintain a creative balance alongside his professional life.
His message to aspiring physiotherapists is to pursue the profession with passion, purpose and integrity. Qualifications alone do not define a healthcare professional; compassion, empathy, responsibility and ethical practice matter equally. He encourages young professionals to remain curious, embrace failures as lessons, respect every patient and never stop learning.
For Dr. Patel, success has never been about simply following an established path. It has been about creating his own through consistency, discipline, self-belief and the courage to step beyond his comfort zone. Recognition is meaningful, but the opportunity to inspire others and contribute something valuable to physiotherapy is, for him, the greater achievement. His journey continues to reflect one central belief: stay grounded, keep learning, and use your work to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Dr. Arpita Krishna, Mbbs, MS ENT, HNS, Facial Aesthetic Surgeon, Vertigo specialist

She is also a UK- and USA-board-certified injector and has recently completed the internationally certified PDDA and PRLN courses, further expanding her expertise in aesthetic medicine.
Her journey into medicine began with a dream she first had in Class 6. With the unwavering support of her family, particularly her parents, she was able to pursue that dream and build the career she envisioned. She considers their sacrifices, encouragement and belief in her to be among the most important reasons she has reached where she is today.
Her professional journey has been a mix of rewarding experiences and challenging phases. Like any long medical career, it has included both good and difficult times, but each experience has contributed to her growth. Along the way, she has also formed meaningful friendships and professional relationships that have enriched her journey. Through every phase, her family remained her strongest source of support.
Dr. Krishna credits her husband and in-laws, along with her parents and wider family, for being pillars of strength throughout her career. Their encouragement has given her the confidence to continue pursuing new opportunities and expanding her professional expertise.
Today, she is looking forward to taking the next major step in her career—establishing her own startup clinic. She encourages youngsters to remain grateful to their parents and families, who often make sacrifices that may not always be visible. There will be setbacks, losses and difficult phases, but these moments do not have to define the journey.
For Dr. Arpita Krishna, success is about continuing to move forward despite uncertainty, learning from every experience and having the courage to stand up again after every fall. Her journey is still evolving, and with her dream of building her own clinic, she looks forward to the next chapter with determination, gratitude and optimism.
Dr. Gaurav Vaid, Physiotherapist, Chiropractor, Osteopath, & Founder of Swasthya Shastra

Dr. Gaurav Vaid is a Physiotherapist, Chiropractor, Osteopath, and the Founder of Swasthya Shastra, a multidisciplinary rehabilitation and wellness centre dedicated to helping people regain mobility, overcome pain, and achieve long-term well-being. With over 24 years of experience, his expertise spans physiotherapy, chiropractic, osteopathy, podiatry, movement science, sports rehabilitation, geriatric care, pain management, and preventive healthcare. Guided by the philosophy of “Treat the person, not just the pain,” Swasthya Shastra embodies its core values of being Coordinated, Connected, and Committed to helping people Discover Wellness.
His journey into rehabilitation was driven by a simple yet powerful realization: many people continue to live with chronic pain not because treatment is unavailable, but because they lack access to the right diagnosis, rehabilitation, and guidance. This inspired him to pursue advanced training across multiple disciplines, enabling him to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care that addresses the root cause of illness rather than just its symptoms.
Over the years, Dr. Vaid has treated thousands of patients from diverse backgrounds, with each case reinforcing his belief that successful rehabilitation requires personalized care, clinical expertise, and genuine empathy. Alongside patient care, he has remained deeply involved in professional education, public speaking, healthcare awareness, and medical writing, believing that educating society is as important as treating disease.
His greatest inspiration comes from his patients. Their resilience, determination, and commitment to recovery continue to motivate him every day. One of the biggest challenges in his journey has been building awareness about conservative rehabilitation in a healthcare landscape where surgery is often viewed as the first solution. Through consistency, ethical practice, and lasting clinical outcomes, he has steadily built trust and established Swasthya Shastra as a center for integrated rehabilitation.
Beyond healthcare, Dr. Vaid is passionate about writing on healthcare, geopolitics, and public policy. He contributes opinion pieces to newspapers, participates in strategic discussions, serves through Rotary initiatives, mentors young professionals, and actively promotes community health awareness.
His message to aspiring doctors is clear: medicine demands lifelong learning, unwavering ethics, and deep compassion. Clinical skills may make you a competent doctor, but empathy and honest communication are what patients remember most.
For Dr. Gaurav Vaid, success is measured not by accolades but by transformation—a patient walking pain-free again, returning to work, or reclaiming confidence after months of suffering. His vision is to continue building centers of excellence that combine science, innovation, and holistic care, making quality rehabilitation accessible to more people while helping them truly rediscover wellness.
Dr. Deepti Mehta, Founder – Dental Tree Clinic

Dr. Deepti Mehta is the founder of Dental Tree Clinic, a multi-speciality dental clinic, and a highly experienced dentist with over 22 years of clinical practice. With expertise in modern endodontics, cosmetic restorations, and paediatric dentistry, she is particularly known for creating anxiety-free dental experiences for children through positive behavioural techniques, preventive care, and specialized paediatric endodontic treatments. Under her leadership, Dental Tree Clinic offers comprehensive dental care, including root canal treatments (RCT), dental implants, orthodontic treatment, cosmetic dentistry, and a wide range of advanced dental procedures. Her philosophy extends beyond treating teeth—she believes every patient, especially every child, deserves compassionate care in a comfortable and reassuring environment.
For Dr. Mehta, dentistry was never simply a career choice—it was a calling. Looking back on her journey, she believes the profession found her just as much as she found it. That sense of purpose has remained the driving force behind every stage of her career.
She began her professional journey by working in charitable and private dental clinics, gaining valuable clinical exposure across diverse patient groups. Marriage marked the beginning of a new chapter, but rather than slowing her down, it strengthened her determination to grow professionally while building a loving family. In 2016, with the unwavering support of her husband, she established Dental Tree Clinic, transforming her vision of patient-centered dentistry into reality. A firm believer in lifelong learning, Dr. Mehta regularly attends continuing education programs, advanced workshops, and hands-on training to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry. Guided by the belief that every day is a learning day, she continuously refines her clinical skills and embraces new technologies to provide the highest standard of care.
Her greatest inspiration has always been her parents, who instilled in her the values of dedication, discipline, and hard work. She also credits her mentors and patients for shaping her professional journey. As the first person in her family to pursue dentistry, she had no established path to follow and built her career through determination, seeking mentors, and creating opportunities for herself. Balancing marriage, motherhood, and a demanding profession brought its own challenges, particularly when she welcomed her second daughter during the COVID-19 pandemic—eleven years after her first. Managing a newborn alongside a busy dental practice during such uncertain times strengthened her resilience and reinforced her belief that passion and perseverance can overcome even the most difficult circumstances.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Mehta enjoys cooking, creating intricate mandala art, and spending quality time with her family and friends. These creative pursuits help her maintain balance and bring the same patience and attention to detail into her professional life.
Dr. Deepti Mehta encourages aspiring healthcare professionals to pursue their craft with passion, precision, and dedication. She believes that before becoming a skilled doctor, one must first become a kind and empathetic human being. By continually upgrading knowledge, embracing lifelong learning, and placing compassion at the heart of patient care, she believes every professional can build a career that is both successful and deeply meaningful.
Dr. Vinkle Gusain, Integrative Clinical Nutritionist, Women’s Health Physiotherapist & Lactation Consultant

Dr. Vinkle Gusain is an Integrative Clinical Nutritionist, Women’s Health Physiotherapist, and Lactation Consultant with over 14 years of experience, specializing in preventive health, metabolic optimization, and longevity. Through her evidence-based approach, she helps individuals reverse metabolic age, hormonal imbalances, gut issues, and lifestyle disorders. By seamlessly combining clinical nutrition, movement, and lifestyle medicine, she has built an integrated model of care designed to focus on biological optimization rather than traditional rehabilitation.
Her journey began as a Women’s Health Physiotherapist, where she noticed a frustrating cycle: patients repeatedly returned with the same chronic concerns because the root causes were left unaddressed. Whether dealing with metabolic syndrome, difficult pregnancies, or chronic pain, she realized that nutrition and lifestyle architecture were the missing pieces. This inspired her to specialize in clinical nutrition and transition toward a comprehensive, integrated system of care focused on treating the whole person rather than just a diagnosis.
At the heart of her practice is a steadfast philosophy: true health optimization does not rely on fad diets, extreme detoxes, meal replacement shakes, or unnecessary supplements. Instead, Dr. Gusain empowers individuals to restore their health using familiar, home-cooked food, backed by rigorous science and personalized to optimize metabolism, balance hormones, and improve cellular health.
Over the years, Dr. Gusain has helped individuals reverse or manage conditions such as metabolic dysfunction, fatty liver disease, PCOS, thyroid disorders, and digestive issues, while also guiding women through fertility optimization, pregnancy, lactation, and postpartum recovery. Her commitment to deep patient education has built a highly trusted, referral-based practice. This track record of life-changing transformations has recently driven the expansion of her clinical team, corporate wellness collaborations, and new healthcare initiatives.
Her greatest inspiration comes from her patients. Watching individuals regain vitality, couples achieve healthier pregnancies, and families embrace sustainable longevity reinforces her purpose every day. As a healthcare entrepreneur, she balances clinical excellence with scaling a modern practice, remaining fiercely committed to evidence-based science in an era often dominated by quick fixes and superficial social media trends.
Beyond her clinical practice, she is passionate about simplifying complex health concepts through high-impact educational content, staying at the forefront of scientific research, traveling, exploring regional food cultures, and spending time in nature.
Her message to aspiring professionals and entrepreneurs is clear: solve real problems, earn trust through clinical outcomes, and stay patient. Sustainable success is built through consistency, integrity, and meaningful impact—not shortcuts.
For Dr. Vinkle Gusain, success is measured by the ripple effect of healthier families and resilient communities. Her mission is to make advanced, evidence-based preventive healthcare accessible, sustainable, and deeply human—one family at a time.
Dr. Karanveer Garg, Dentist, Entrepreneur & Founder – Dr. Karan Dental Clinic, Samana

Dr. Karanveer Garg is a practicing dentist, entrepreneur, and founder of Dr. Karan Dental Clinic, Samana. Passionate about ethical dentistry and continuous learning, he believes that great patient care goes beyond clinical skills—it also requires innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to improving the profession.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Garg has developed digital solutions to help fellow dentists simplify everyday practice. He created the Patient Management Tracker, a practical system that enables clinics to manage appointments, patient records, finances, and daily operations more efficiently. He is also the co-founder of DocLoop, a doctor-to-doctor networking platform built to help dentists connect with specialists, strengthen professional relationships, and collaborate more effectively.
His journey into dentistry has been one of growth and self-discovery. Like many students, he began his dental education without fully understanding the depth and possibilities of the profession. The defining moment came during his internship when he pursued fellowships in Aesthetic Dentistry and Implant Dentistry at D.Y. Patil University. Those experiences completely changed his perspective. He realized that dentistry is not just about treating teeth—it’s about restoring confidence, improving lives, and committing to lifelong learning.
As a first-generation dentist, Dr. Garg built his career from the ground up. Every milestone—from becoming a dentist and opening his own clinic to developing digital tools and co-founding DocLoop—has been driven by a desire to solve real-world problems. The initial months of private practice were slower than he had expected, but instead of viewing that as a setback, he used the time to learn, improve, and build solutions that could help not only his own clinic but also thousands of other dentists.
Outside dentistry, he enjoys fitness, technology, entrepreneurship, and creating educational content for the dental community. He strongly believes that the future of healthcare lies in combining clinical excellence with technology to improve the experience of both patients and healthcare professionals.
His advice to aspiring doctors is simple: keep learning, keep applying what you learn, and never compromise on ethics. He believes every doctor has a unique journey, and lasting success comes from consistency, integrity, and earning the trust of patients.
For Dr. Karanveer Garg, success is not a destination but an ongoing journey. Whether caring for patients, building digital tools like the Patient Management Tracker, or creating platforms such as DocLoop, his mission remains the same—to make a meaningful contribution to dentistry and leave the profession better than he found it.

Her areas of expertise include aesthetic and conservative dentistry, endodontics, smile designing, painless dentistry, TMJ care and Dental Sleep Medicine, with a particular interest in the dental management of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.
For Dr. Shreya, dentistry began as a profession but gradually became a deeply meaningful part of her life. She was drawn to the field because of its unique combination of science, precision and creativity. During her education, her interest in saving natural teeth and managing complex dental conditions led her towards Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. Her interactions with patients, however, taught her that dentistry extends far beyond clinical procedures. Fear, anxiety and insecurities often accompany patients into the dental chair, and understanding those emotions became an important part of her approach. As she puts it, dentists do not simply treat teeth—they treat people.
Her interest in Dental Sleep Medicine grew from the same philosophy of looking at the patient as a whole. Recognising the connection between oral health, the jaw, airway and overall wellbeing, she developed a keen interest in helping identify patients who may be experiencing issues related to snoring and obstructive sleep apnea and guiding them towards appropriate care, including suitable oral appliance therapy.
Dr. Shreya completed her BDS from Manipal University and her MDS from Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental University, Navi Mumbai. During her postgraduate journey, she received the Richard Law Award grant from the Global Child Dental Fund in association with King’s College London. She has also undergone training in Laser Dentistry and completed an externship at the National University of Singapore. Her professional experience includes working as a consultant at Fortis Hospital, Jaypee Hospital and Primacare Hospital in Noida, where she gained exposure to diverse and complex cases.
Over time, her vision expanded from clinical practice to healthcare entrepreneurship. Through Heal Studio Healthcare and FaceStudio Clinics, she aims to create modern, patient-centric spaces where individuals can access advanced dental and specialist healthcare services under one roof.
Her journey has also involved learning to balance clinical responsibilities, entrepreneurship and the many demands that come with building something of her own. Her family and the inspiring women she has encountered throughout her career remain important sources of motivation. Each challenge has reinforced her belief that one does not need to have everything figured out before taking the next step.
Outside her professional life, Dr. Shreya enjoys travelling, exploring restaurants, riding, sports and spending time with family and friends. She also remains committed to continuous learning, believing that healthcare professionals must always remain students as medicine and dentistry continue to evolve.
Her message to aspiring professionals is straightforward: start with what you have, keep learning, embrace mistakes and continue improving. She particularly encourages women to build their own identity and professional confidence rather than measuring themselves against someone else’s definition of success.
For Dr. Shreya, success is ultimately measured by impact—the anxious patient who leaves feeling reassured, the person who regains confidence in their smile, or someone whose sleep-related concerns are finally recognised and appropriately addressed. Her vision is to continue building ethical, advanced and patient-focused healthcare services while increasing awareness about Dental Sleep Medicine and the role dentists can play in sleep apnea care.
Dr. Pankti Gangar Bhatia, Periodontist and Implantologist, Founder – Carving Smiles Multispeciality Dental Clinic

Dr. Pankti Gangar Bhatia is a Periodontist and Implantologist with over eight years of clinical experience and the Founder of Carving Smiles Multispeciality Dental Clinic in Chembur, Mumbai. For her, dentistry is more than a profession—it is a field where science, precision and empathy come together to create a tangible difference in people’s lives.
Coming from a family of engineers, entrepreneurs and accountants, Dr. Pankti initially envisioned a career in medicine with the desire to serve humanity. Dentistry eventually became an unexpected yet defining turn in her life. What began as a career choice gradually developed into a deep passion, particularly for understanding the teeth and their supporting structures. This interest led her to pursue her MDS in Periodontology and Implantology.
Today, her practice encompasses comprehensive dental care with a special focus on advanced periodontal treatments, dental implants, regenerative dentistry, laser gum procedures and full-mouth smile rehabilitation. She believes modern dentistry should extend beyond treatment to include patient education, accurate diagnosis, precision and compassionate communication. For her, one of the most rewarding moments is seeing a patient leave the clinic with renewed trust and confidence.
Establishing Carving Smiles marked a significant breakthrough in her professional journey. Becoming a practice owner required her to grow beyond clinical dentistry and develop an understanding of leadership, practice management, team building, patient communication, branding and business development. Each responsibility brought new lessons and pushed her to become more confident in making independent decisions.
Her journey has been supported by the people closest to her. She credits her family, her husband, Dr. Chirag Bhatia, an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, and her mentors for consistently standing by her and encouraging her growth. As a woman professional and entrepreneur, balancing multiple responsibilities while establishing her own identity has presented its challenges. Entrepreneurship has also meant navigating uncertainty, making difficult decisions and remaining resilient when things do not go according to plan. These experiences have ultimately strengthened her confidence and reinforced her belief in her own abilities.
Outside dentistry, Dr. Pankti enjoys travelling, listening to music and spending quality time with her family. She remains passionate about learning, both within dentistry and beyond her profession.
Her message to aspiring professionals is simple: believe in your capabilities, but never stop learning. Do not wait for perfect circumstances to begin. Start small, remain consistent and allow discipline and perseverance to turn your vision into something meaningful.
For Dr. Pankti, building Carving Smiles has been about creating more than a successful practice it has been about building a space that reflects her values and approach to patient care. She considers herself a work in progress, continuing to learn, evolve and strive for greater impact. For her, that continuous journey is itself one of the most rewarding definitions of success.

Her academic journey includes a commerce degree from Pune University, a Chartered Accountancy degree from ICAI, and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Smita Ahuja, Talent strategist

Smita Ahuja represents a rare balance of style, intelligence, and substance. Moving seamlessly between strategic leadership and a vibrant personal life, she brings both instinct and precision to everything she does. As a talent strategist working across APAC, she plays a key role in shaping hiring ecosystems and integrating AI-driven frameworks into modern recruitment.
Her journey began in agency recruitment within the oil and gas sector, a field she entered without prior knowledge. Despite the steep learning curve, she quickly rose to become a top performer. That phase shaped her core belief: success is not about knowing everything at the start, but about learning faster than anyone else.
Over time, her role evolved beyond recruitment. She began training teams, building systems, and eventually designing AI-led frameworks to help recruiters stay relevant in a rapidly changing landscape. Working across diverse markets like India, Japan, Australia, and Singapore, she developed a strong ability to navigate cultural nuances and connect insights across regions.
One defining moment in her career involved mentoring a candidate who lacked confidence despite strong potential. With guidance and encouragement, the candidate secured a role at nearly three times her previous compensation. More importantly, she gained belief in her own worth. Moments like these define Smita’s idea of impact.
As a woman in leadership, she has navigated expectations and challenges with clarity and resilience. She believes in setting boundaries, staying authentic, and choosing growth over validation.
Outside work, she embraces fashion, travel, food, and learning as essential parts of life. For her, success is not static. It evolves with experience, impact, and personal growth.
Swheta Mutreja Aggarwal, Founder – @kookie_cake_crumble

Swheta Mutreja Aggarwal is a baker and chef whose journey is deeply rooted in passion, memory, and purpose. As the founder of @kookie_cake_crumble, she has transformed her love for baking into a growing brand built on authenticity, creativity, and continuous learning.
Her inspiration comes from her father, who played a defining role in shaping her relationship with food. Growing up, the kitchen was her happiest space. Watching her father cook fresh meals for the family every evening instilled in her not just skills, but a deep emotional connection with cooking. What began as admiration slowly evolved into a calling.
Although she completed a diploma from Sophia’s School of Polytechnic nearly two decades ago, she did not initially pursue baking professionally. It was only just before the lockdown that she chose to return to her passion, enrolling at the School for European Pastry to refine her skills through an eggless baking course. The lockdown, while challenging for many, became a turning point for her—allowing her brand to take shape and grow steadily.
Swheta strongly believes in lifelong learning. Her culinary journey has taken her across the world, learning authentic cuisines from their roots—Sri Lankan cuisine from Bentota and Colombo, Thai from Pattaya, Italian from Venice, ramen from Sydney, and regional Indian cuisines from Srinagar and Pahalgam. Each experience has added depth and diversity to her craft.
Today, alongside running her baking venture, she is also a food consultant, working with catering businesses and helping brands grow. Her professional journey is further strengthened by nearly three decades of experience in PR and marketing, which has enabled her to understand branding and business growth from a strategic perspective.
Her journey, however, has not been without challenges. As a woman, she has often faced discouragement and limiting beliefs—being told to remain confined to working from home or doubted for her ability to build something larger. There were moments of self-doubt, but she chose to rise above them, driven by her father’s belief in her and her own determination to fulfil that dream.
Beyond her professional life, she is a devoted mother to two children and shares her home with a beloved pet. She has also been actively involved in school initiatives as part of the PTA, reflecting her commitment beyond her career.
Her message to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple and heartfelt: pursue what you truly love, give it your full dedication, and trust the process.
Interestingly, her entrepreneurial spirit began early at just 16, she was already supplying cookies to Akbarallys and later to Rashmi Uday Singh’s store at Crossroads, marking the beginning of a journey that would come full circle years later.
Elisha Rajpal, Magician & Young Social Activist

For Mumbai-based student Elisha Rajpal, a personal hobby has always been a vehicle for social good. Her journey as a changemaker began at the young age of 12 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Turning a personal skill into a public fundraising initiative, she taught peers to solve the Rubik’s Cube, collecting donations directed entirely toward cancer charities. The viral effort caught widespread media attention, earning her nationwide coverage on ABP News.
Since then, Elisha has traded her Rubik’s Cube for a deck of cards, using magic as her primary tool to drive community impact. Her performances have taken her across diverse platforms. She regularly volunteers at local government schools, leveraging interactive magic to teach foundational logic to underserved children. Beyond the classroom, her talent has brought her to major high-profile events, where she performs live sets to anchor fundraisers for premier organisations like the Helping Hands Foundation.
Elisha has even taken her magic to care centres, hosting specialized events for mentally challenged children. Navigating a room with such heavy cognitive and behavioral differences is incredibly difficult, yet her unique power and gift lie in her ability to connect deeply with people in need, giving them her undivided time and empathy.
Now, Elisha is taking her mission global. Through her newly launched Instagram handle, she is shifting the spotlight from personal applause to collective action. She utilizes her digital platform to teach an international audience how to weaponize their own unique hobbies to champion critical human causes like women’s rights, child safety, and educational equity.
Elisha serves as living proof that individual passions can be selflessly deployed to create systemic change. She is leading a new generation of youth leadership—proving that the real magic lies in making the world a better place.
Meera Chalke, Wedding Photographer, Founder – Picture It by Meera

Meera Chalke is a wedding photographer and the founder of Picture It by Meera, a Mumbai based wedding photography brand known for capturing honest emotions and timeless stories through a deeply personal lens. Over the last decade, she has documented weddings across India as well as internationally in destinations such as the US, Canada, Europe, the UK, and Indonesia.
Her journey into photography began during her sister’s wedding in 2011, when she found herself drawn not just to the celebrations, but to the emotions quietly unfolding within them. Coming from a creative background with a B.Sc. in Animation and specialization in VFX, she naturally developed a strong sense of visual storytelling and artistic perspective.
In 2013, she co-founded a wedding photography company, where she learned the foundations of both photography and entrepreneurship. From handling clients to building systems and understanding the realities of running a business, those years became an important phase of growth. However, life took an unexpected turn after her separation in 2017. Instead of stepping away, she chose to rebuild herself and start again with clarity and resilience. That fresh beginning eventually became Picture It by Meera, a brand built entirely on courage, consistency, and self-belief.
Through years of dedication and genuine human connection, her work gradually evolved into a trusted name in the wedding industry. Beyond photography, Meera enjoys learning about entrepreneurship, mindful living, sustainability, and travelling. Observing people, cultures, and emotions continues to shape her creative process and storytelling style.
She believes one of the biggest strengths an entrepreneur can develop is the ability to solve problems with empathy and resourcefulness. According to her, skills can always be learned, but the ability to make life easier for others leaves a lasting impact.
For Meera, success is not just about building a business. It is about discovering strength through the process. What began as a career slowly became a journey of rebuilding herself, and in chasing her dreams, she ultimately found a stronger version of who she is.
Dr. Manjula Thakur, MD Dermatologist

Dr. Manjula Thakur is an MBBS doctor and MD Dermatologist currently practicing in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh. Alongside her clinical practice, she actively conducts weekly health camps in the rural areas of Bastar, where access to healthcare services remains limited. Her approach to medicine is deeply rooted in compassion, with a strong belief in treating one patient at a time while making healthcare more accessible to underserved communities.
Coming from a middle class family, Dr. Thakur always dreamed of becoming a doctor. She is the first generation doctor in her family, driven by a desire to serve society and create meaningful impact through healthcare. In a family and community where girls often get married in their early twenties, her parents stood firmly by her dreams and supported her education and ambitions wholeheartedly. She believes she is where she is today because of their love, sacrifices, and unwavering encouragement.
Her academic journey reflects dedication and perseverance. She cracked NEET in 2013 and completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh. Later, she successfully cleared NEET PG in 2022 and pursued her MD in Dermatology from Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences, Bilaspur. Today, she serves as a Senior Resident at her alma mater, Government Medical College Jagdalpur, giving back to the same institution that shaped her journey.
Her greatest inspiration comes from her family and her fiancé, who is an ophthalmologist. Their sacrifices, values, support, and resilience continue to motivate her personally and professionally.
As a woman in healthcare, balancing academics, high patient loads, emotional pressure, and personal responsibilities has not always been easy. However, these experiences helped her grow into a stronger, more resilient clinician and gave her a deeper perspective on life and patient care.
Beyond her profession, Dr. Thakur enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle, travelling, playing badminton, and exploring new cuisines and places. She has also contributed academically by publishing research papers in international journals and delivering talks at national and state level conferences.
She believes that being a dermatologist in India comes with its own challenges, especially in educating patients against misinformation spread by unqualified practitioners and misleading social media trends. Through her work, she aims to create awareness and ensure patients receive ethical, evidence based treatment and guidance.
For Dr. Manjula Thakur, success is not defined by status or achievements alone. She believes true success lies in health, peace of mind, and the ability to make a positive difference in society. Treating patients and serving communities keeps her grounded, grateful, and deeply connected to her purpose.
