The Indian wedding industry, often synonymous with grandeur, innovation, and cultural significance, is undergoing a remarkable transformation in 2025. At the forefront of this evolution are ten trailblazing entrepreneurs who have redefined how weddings are envisioned and executed.
From crafting opulent Big Fat Indian Weddings to setting global trends in luxury, technology, and personalization, these visionaries are reshaping the industry. Their contributions go beyond aesthetics, introducing innovative business models, sustainable practices, and cutting-edge technology to elevate every celebration into an unforgettable experience.
Mehak Shahani, Co-Founder of WedMeGood

Mehak Shahani co-founded WedMeGood, a leading wedding portal and resource guide, with her husband in 2014. Based in Gurugram, the platform simplifies wedding planning for users, offering curated vendor lists, inspiration, and tools to plan every detail.
In September 2015, WedMeGood secured Rs 2.7 crore in funding from the Indian Angel Network (IAN), followed by $2.6 million in a Series A funding round from Orchid India last month. Mehak, a postgraduate from the Delhi School of Economics (DSE), previously worked as a risk manager at American Express. A true multi-tasker and serial entrepreneur, she also runs a popular makeup and fashion blog, Peaches and Blush.
Ekta, Founder – Weddings by ESL

Ekta, Founder of Weddings by ESL, is redefining the art of luxury wedding planning and design. With a background in hospitality, she brings together her love for detail, storytelling, and human connection to craft celebrations that are both personal and unforgettable. For her, weddings are not just events but cherished milestones, and she takes pride in translating each couple’s quirks, traditions, and love story into moments that feel uniquely theirs.
Her journey into weddings began during her hotelier days, where she witnessed the joy, emotion, and gratitude that weddings inspire. Choosing to carry forward that magic, she founded Weddings by ESL and has since curated everything from intimate seaside vows to multi-day cultural extravaganzas across India and destinations like Dubai, Qatar, Muscat, and Montenegro.
Ekta’s entrepreneurial path has been marked by milestones, including opening the brand’s first international office in Dubai and receiving recognition such as ET Panache Women of the Year, WOW Middle East Gold for Best Intimate Wedding, and Wedding Sutra Platinum for Best Overall Wedding of the Year. Yet, she values emotional moments just as much as accolades—like watching a couple moved to tears when they saw their love story brought to life through décor, music, and thoughtful details.
Challenges, from limited resources in the early days to the pandemic’s disruption, only strengthened her resilience and drive to innovate. Inspired by her couples and global creative visionaries, Ekta continues to push boundaries through sustainable practices, technology integration, and trend-forward design rooted in authenticity.
Her vision is clear: to see Indian weddings celebrated not only for grandeur but also for creativity, innovation, and artistry—placing them firmly on the global map while staying true to tradition.

Chirag Jain, Founder – Stardom Entertainment

Meet Chirag, the dynamic founder of Stardom Entertainment — a luxury wedding planning company that transforms dreams into unforgettable celebrations. Built on passion, precision, and personal connection, Stardom Entertainment is not just about creating beautiful events — it’s about crafting moments that feel deeply personal, effortless, and magical.
With over eight years in the wedding and events industry, Chirag’s journey began from the ground up. From managing reality shows to handling high-profile operations for the IPL at Wankhede Stadium, he has seen it all — the chaos, the pressure, and the joy that comes with pulling off big events. Those experiences shaped his belief that true success lies in the details — and in ensuring that clients get to live their dream, not manage it.
Two years ago, this belief took shape as Stardom Entertainment — a brand born out of a desire to redefine how weddings are planned. For Chirag, it was never about extravagance alone; it was about emotional connection. Every couple’s story is different, and his mission is to tell that story beautifully, seamlessly, and stress-free.
Starting out, however, wasn’t easy. Chirag had to build everything from scratch — trust, goodwill, and a team that shared his vision. The early days were marked by sleepless nights, small budgets, and the constant pressure to prove himself in an industry filled with seasoned talent. He recalls a time when the sum he earned working under others wasn’t enough to sustain his needs, but instead of chasing money, he chose to chase learning. That decision became the foundation of his success.
Today, Stardom Entertainment stands as a symbol of passion and professionalism. Every wedding planned by his team reflects an obsessive attention to detail — from conceptualization to execution, from emotions to experience. For Chirag, success isn’t measured in scale or grandeur, but in the words clients share after the big day: “We could truly enjoy our wedding because of you.”
That simple line, he says, makes every effort worth it.
Outside of work, Chirag is as energetic and driven as he is in business. A passionate sports enthusiast, he loves playing cricket and even organizes cricket tournaments regularly. He’s also an avid pickleball player — a sport that keeps him active and competitive. When he’s not working or playing, you’ll find him exploring new places, spending time with friends, and soaking in new experiences. His social nature, he believes, fuels his creativity and helps him connect with people from all walks of life — something that often reflects in his work.
Chirag draws his inspiration from his clients — their trust, their emotions, and their stories. Every wedding, he says, teaches him something new about patience, creativity, and human connection.
For Chirag, success is deeply personal. “Stardom Entertainment was born from a simple dream — to make weddings stress-free and emotionally fulfilling for every client,” he shares. His goal is to continue creating meaningful, joy-filled experiences and to make Stardom Entertainment synonymous with passion, trust, and excellence.
Shreya Dakshesh Mistry, Founder – 60Seconds

Shreya Dakshesh Mistry is the dynamic force behind “60Seconds,” a guest management company that has become a trusted name in the Indian event and wedding industry. What began as a curiosity while pursuing her B.Com at H.R. College in Mumbai led her to EMDI event institute, and soon, event management went from being a fun experiment to a full-blown passion. Her first on-ground experience was the Lewis Hamilton race at BKC in 2011, and she hasn’t looked back since. After exploring different verticals in the event industry, Shreya discovered her natural flair for people skills and gravitated toward guest management. With her ability to connect effortlessly with strangers and troubleshoot on the go, 60Seconds was born in 2018—founded on a people-first mindset and Shreya’s unwavering determination.
Her journey, however, has been anything but easy. Coming from a small town in Gujarat, she had to face not just the industry’s challenges, but also initial resistance at home. Her father, like many others, had reservations about a woman entering what he perceived to be a glamorous, unstable field. But Shreya was certain—this was the space where she belonged. Over time, he saw his daughter’s grit and supported her unconditionally. She freelanced widely before launching her own venture, often hearing that she wouldn’t last. But she turned those doubts into fuel, building 60Seconds from the ground up with a “no giving up” spirit.
Today, 60Seconds has worked with some of the most prominent clients in India and abroad—from the weddings of Praful Patel’s son in Jaipur, Poorna Patel’s brother-in-law in Ahmedabad, to corporate events like IIFA, DCVMN for Poonawalla, Anita Dongre’s ReWild launch with ICE Global, and many more. Her work has taken her across India and international destinations like Dubai, Nepal, and Turkey. In addition to leading her business, Shreya has also been a guest lecturer at WizMIME and its affiliated institutions, sharing her knowledge with the next generation of event professionals.
Inspiration for her comes from everywhere—from the women who made space in this industry before it was even recognized to the mistakes and learnings of each day. She acknowledges the reality of being a woman in a male-dominated and often misunderstood field, where ethical paths are hard to hold and stereotypes come uninvited. But for her, integrity matters most. If she can look in the mirror each morning with pride, she knows she’s doing it right.
Apart from her core business, she has recently launched “Milletnials,” a millet-based food brand, showcasing her ever-evolving entrepreneurial spirit. Shreya’s message to aspiring professionals is rooted in realism—don’t be fooled by the glamour. This industry is demanding, often exhausting, and yet incredibly rewarding for those who truly love it. Build networks, stay flexible, and never hesitate to seek help. Above all, be passionate—because in a world full of facades, only passion can sustain you.
Nitin Mathur, Co-founder – The Wedding Square

Nitin Mathur, co-founder of The Wedding Square, has spent over 27 years crafting unforgettable wedding experiences that blend tradition with contemporary elegance. His journey into the wedding industry began unexpectedly through event planning, but the magic of orchestrating celebrations that bring families together quickly became his passion.
With The Wedding Square, Nitin and his team transform each couple’s vision into reality, handling every detail—from venue selection to décor and coordination—so families can fully immerse themselves in the joy of the occasion. Whether it’s a grand affair in Italy, France, or Spain, or an intimate gathering in India, he ensures every wedding is personal, meaningful, and flawlessly executed.
Building a brand in such a competitive industry hasn’t been without challenges. Trends evolve rapidly, expectations are diverse, and destination weddings bring their own complexities. But for Nitin, each obstacle has been an opportunity to innovate, adapt, and push creative boundaries. His greatest inspiration comes from the couples and families he works with—their stories, traditions, and dreams fuel his passion to redefine wedding planning in India.
Staying ahead in the industry requires constant learning. Nitin travels, collaborates with global creatives, and immerses himself in diverse cultural experiences to bring fresh perspectives to his designs while honoring timeless traditions. Through his work, he has witnessed firsthand how weddings can be more than just extravagant events; they can be deeply personal experiences that bridge cultures and create lasting memories.
Looking ahead, he envisions the Indian wedding industry embracing both grandeur and sustainability. With The Wedding Square, he hopes to pioneer practices that not only create spectacular celebrations but also leave a positive impact. His advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple: stay authentic, listen to your clients, and never lose sight of the joy that weddings bring.
Pradeep Jaiswani, Founder and CEO – The Stage Craft Jaipur

Pradeep Jaiswani is the Founder and CEO of The Stage Craft Jaipur, a name that’s become synonymous with creativity and excellence in the wedding and event décor industry. Carrying forward a legacy rooted in a 60-year-old family-run production and décor house started by his father, Pradeep has taken the reins and transformed the business into a cutting-edge, nationally recognized brand.
With a master’s degree from London, he brings a thoughtful balance of global perspective and local sensibility to every project. With offices in Jaipur, Mumbai, and Delhi, the brand’s presence now extends across India.

Pradeep’s approach is rooted in detail, storytelling, and pushing creative boundaries. The company’s trusted reputation has earned it a spot as an official décor partner for some of India’s most prestigious venues, including Taj Jai Mahal Palace, ITC Rajputana, and ITC Mementos in Jaipur. Accolades and industry awards continue to recognize their exceptional work.
What sets Pradeep apart is his vision—one that seamlessly fuses traditional artistry with modern design. His passion and forward-thinking leadership have made The Stage Craft Jaipur one of India’s leading names in event décor, with each project a reflection of timeless elegance and contemporary innovation.
Harshit Arora, Founder – Jashn-E-Events

Harshit Arora is the third-generation entrepreneur behind Jashn-E-Events by Arora Decorators, a family-run business that has been shaping the Indian wedding industry for over four decades. Specialising in decor, lighting, tenting, and custom furniture, the company brings together cultural traditions and modern design to create unforgettable celebrations tailored to each client’s story.
From a young age, Harshit was inspired by his father’s unwavering dedication—watching him work late nights and early mornings to bring events to life. Though his family encouraged him to complete his education first, his passion led him to begin exploring the business early through wedding stationery and invitations. After graduation, he joined the renowned Touchwood Group, where his first event, interning under Mr. Walid Baz for the Dilbagh family, marked a powerful start to his journey.
Over the years, Harshit has contributed to several high-profile projects, including tenders for IPL and Ramleela, and curated experiences for brands like Hero FinCorp, Audi, NAB, and the wedding of Mr. Salman Khurshid’s son. Known for taking on last-minute challenges, he once executed a wedding setup within a few hours of receiving the inquiry—an example of his calm, resourceful approach under pressure.
Harshit credits much of his growth to the values instilled by his father—hard work, resilience, and a willingness to evolve with the times. He believes inspiration comes from everywhere, from modern spaces to cultural landmarks, and most importantly, from the clients themselves. His vision remains simple: to create experiences that leave a lasting emotional impact, while continuously adapting to the ever-changing landscape of the wedding industry. For him, every event is a blank canvas, ready to be transformed with creativity, heart, and purpose.

India’s physiotherapy landscape is undergoing a remarkable transformation, driven by passionate professionals who are redefining recovery, mobility, and quality of life. From sports rehabilitation to neurological care and post-surgical recovery, these experts are not just treating conditions—they are restoring confidence and independence in countless lives.
This special edition, “Success Stories: Top 10 Physiotherapists Transforming Lives Across India,” celebrates the journeys of these inspiring healers whose dedication, innovation, and patient-centric approach continue to set new benchmarks in modern rehabilitation care.
Dr. Sunita Patel, Physiotherapist

Dr. Sunita Patel is a physiotherapist specialising in pelvic care and women’s health, with a practice that combines clinical care with education. For her, treatment and awareness have to go hand in hand.
Her journey into pelvic health began with a deeply personal experience. After having her baby, she experienced pelvic health issues herself, which led her to discover Kegel exercises and explore the importance of the pelvic floor. One discovery led to another, eventually introducing her to pelvic rehabilitation. The more she learned, the more she felt that this was the work she was meant to do.
She began this journey around 2015, at a time when there were very few educators in India specialising in pelvic floor rehabilitation. With limited guidance available, much of her learning came through self-study, including books, research, articles and online resources. What started with understanding Kegels gradually expanded into learning about pelvic, bowel, bladder and sexual health.
The journey was challenging, but it eventually became both her passion and profession. Her greatest inspiration continues to be the women she meets and the stories they share. She also understands the importance of creating a safe and comfortable environment where women can speak openly about their health.
Beyond her professional life, Dr. Sunita is a mother, wife and family person. She believes success is not only about professional achievements, but also about building a fulfilling life.
Her message to aspiring professionals is simple: follow your dreams, but be willing to work for them. She believes in being “self-full” rather than selfish, making space for personal growth while pursuing professional goals.
For Dr. Sunita, there is no shortcut to excellence. Knowledge comes from learning, confidence comes from experience, and excellence comes from combining the two. Her advice is to keep learning, keep experiencing, never give up on your dreams and keep moving forward.
Dr. Aarti Anand Welling, MPT, (Ph.D.), Associate Professor – Orthopaedic Physiotherapy – KLE’s Institute of Physiotherapy

Dr. Aarti Anand Welling, MPT, (Ph.D.), is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Physiotherapy at KLE’s Institute of Physiotherapy, Belagavi, Karnataka, where she combines academic teaching, clinical practice and research. Her work is driven by a commitment to improving patients’ quality of life while nurturing the next generation of physiotherapy professionals.
Her journey is particularly meaningful because she once sat in the very classrooms where she now teaches. A former student of the institute, Dr. Aarti began her professional journey with a deep interest in healthcare and a desire to make a difference in people’s lives. Although she describes herself as an average and shy student during her school years, her determination, curiosity and willingness to learn gradually shaped her into an accomplished academician and clinician.
Over time, she discovered a passion for orthopaedic physiotherapy and teaching. She realised that her ambitions extended beyond clinical practice to mentoring students, contributing to research and advancing evidence-based physiotherapy. Today, guiding students as they develop clinical confidence, critical thinking and compassion remains one of the most fulfilling aspects of her career.
Research and innovation have also played a significant role in her professional journey. She has published more than 45 research articles in national and international indexed journals and served as Managing Editor of the Indian Journal of Physical Therapy and Research. Her research abstract was also selected for presentation and display at the Massage Therapy Foundation during the AMTA 2026 National Convention in Denver, USA, marking another milestone in her academic journey.
Her contributions include copyrighted physiotherapy protocols and assessment tools such as CERVIDURA for cervicogenic headache, SPARKS for tinnitus and KWAMPS for post-operative oral and maxillofacial rehabilitation. She has also contributed to patented innovations, including a sensor-based knee brace for osteoarthritis assessment and an instrument for assessing and treating trigger points. These initiatives reflect her commitment to translating clinical knowledge and research into practical tools that can advance physiotherapy practice.
Her dedication to teaching and research has earned her the Best Teacher Award (Students’ Choice) as well as the Best Teacher Award by KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research. She has also received the Research Excellence Award from Dr. D. Y. Patil University. For her, these recognitions are not destinations, but encouragement to continue learning, teaching and contributing to the profession.
Behind her achievements lies a strong support system. She credits her family, research guide, Dean Dr. Vijay Kage, and Head of Department Dr. Peeyoosha Gurudut for their guidance and encouragement. Like many women professionals, she has faced the challenge of balancing academic responsibilities, clinical practice, research and personal commitments. Through these experiences, she has remained guided by one principle: never give up.
Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family, painting, exploring new art forms and travelling. She considers her loved ones her source of balance and believes that a good teacher must always remain a student.
Her message to aspiring professionals, particularly young women, is simple: “Believe in yourself, even when you are not the best in the room.” For Dr. Aarti, success is not about being better than others, but about becoming better than who you were yesterday and helping others grow along the way.
Dr. Utsav Parikh, Founder & Director – JUST THERAPY

Dr. Utsav Parikh, Founder and Director of JUST THERAPY, is a physiotherapist, entrepreneur and widely recognised as Gujarat’s first Interventional Physiotherapist. Based in Ahmedabad, his journey has been shaped by an unexpected career choice, a willingness to take risks and a desire to create a different experience in physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Physiotherapy was never part of his original plan. After completing his 10th standard, Dr. Utsav envisioned a very different future. He wanted to become an automobile engineer, study design at CEPT and eventually pursue an MBA from IIM. However, circumstances led him towards a different path. After 12th, he found himself choosing between becoming a neurosurgeon and a physiotherapist. He chose physiotherapy, a decision he now believes was a redirection towards something much bigger.
He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Khayati Institute of Physiotherapy, Ahmedabad. During his studies, he realised that he did not want to follow a conventional professional route. He began working with reputed organisations and senior professionals, using those experiences to understand the field, identify gaps and determine the kind of practitioner and entrepreneur he wanted to become.
After completing his degree, he started his own practice and continued developing his clinical expertise. His intervention-based training in the UK during 2020–2021 further shaped his approach to patient care. In 2022, he founded JUST THERAPY with a vision that extended beyond establishing another physiotherapy clinic.
The idea was to create a healthcare brand that offered patients greater convenience, professionalism and specialised care. Today, JUST THERAPY has a strong focus on home healthcare in Ahmedabad, providing physiotherapy and rehabilitation services at patients’ doorsteps and at times convenient to them. The organisation has also developed specialised verticals across physiotherapy, rehabilitation, fitness and wellness.
For Dr. Utsav, entrepreneurship has been as much about building an ecosystem as building a business. He believes that professionals do not always need to view one another as competitors and that collaboration can help strengthen the healthcare sector as a whole.
His own journey has involved building credibility, a network, a team and a professional identity from the ground up. There were experiences where people he trusted did not meet his expectations, but those moments taught him independence, resilience and the importance of trusting his own decisions.
Outside his professional life, Dr. Utsav is a cyclist and marathon runner and occasionally plays badminton. He is also deeply interested in leadership, entrepreneurship and developing new healthcare models, particularly opportunities that can take specialised healthcare services beyond conventional markets.
One achievement particularly close to him is his association as a medical partner for marathon events recognised by the London Book of Records and World Book of Records. Yet he defines success more personally: building something from nothing, creating a team he believes in, serving people and continuing to learn.
His message to aspiring professionals is simple: believe in yourself, run your own race and never compare your first chapter with someone else’s nineteenth. Work honestly, keep learning, focus on your own growth and leave the outcome to God.
For Dr. Utsav, the journey is far from complete. JUST THERAPY is not simply his business; it is his attempt to redefine how people experience physiotherapy and contribute to the evolution of healthcare.
Dr. Jhanvi K. Rathod, Physiotherapist & Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT)

Dr. Jhanvi K. Rathod is a Physiotherapist and Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) currently working at Asian Physiotherapy and Research Institute, Surat. A graduate of SPB Physiotherapy College, Surat, her journey into the profession is one of resilience, perseverance and an unwavering refusal to give up.
Until Class 10, Jhanvi was a bright student, consistently scoring between 80 and 90 percent. However, the years that followed brought a series of setbacks she could never have anticipated. From Class 11 and 12 to NEET, GUJCET and her first year of college, she faced more than ten failures across examinations and academic milestones over nearly seven and a half years. Not once during that period did she clear an exam on her first attempt.
There came a point when the repeated setbacks made her consider giving up on her studies altogether. It was then that her family became her strongest support system. They continued to believe in her even when she struggled to believe in herself. Her father, Ketan M. Rathod, played a particularly important role in helping her find a new direction. When she was ready to leave her studies, he secured her admission into Physiotherapy—a decision that eventually changed the course of her life.
Today, Jhanvi looks back at those difficult years differently. What once felt like failure after failure became the foundation of her resilience. She is now actively building her professional identity through clinical work, research, conferences and public awareness. She regularly attends conferences and presents research, while also creating physiotherapy awareness content to make useful information accessible to students and the public.
Her father remains the person she most admires. Ketan M. Rathod taught her lessons that extend far beyond academics—from punctuality and handling important responsibilities to maintaining relationships and treating people with fairness. She recalls how he would often arrive at hospitals and clinics before her while she was applying for opportunities. His consistency and balanced approach to people are qualities she hopes to embody.
Jhanvi also believes strongly in giving back. She has voluntarily worked as an on-field physiotherapist at two state-level powerlifting competitions and a taekwondo competition in Surat, and has participated in a free health camp. These experiences allow her to contribute beyond her regular clinical responsibilities while strengthening her connection with the community.
As a young professional, she is still at the beginning of her journey, but her message comes from personal experience: never give up. Failure, even repeated failure, does not determine where someone will ultimately reach. Sometimes the path demands that you try, fail, learn and try again—more times than you ever imagined.
For Jhanvi, success is still being written. But after everything she has overcome, one thing is certain: she is no longer defined by the examinations she failed, but by the determination with which she kept moving forward.
Dr. Sneha Tiwari, Sports Rehabilitation Specialist, Founder – Momentum Sports Clinic & Sneha Sports Physio Academy

Dr. Sneha Tiwari is a Sports Physiotherapist, Sports Rehabilitation Specialist, entrepreneur and speaker, and the Founder of Momentum Sports Clinic and Sneha Sports Physio Academy. With over seven years of professional experience, her work spans sports rehabilitation, injury prevention, pain management, strength and conditioning, and helping athletes return to their sport stronger and more confident.
Her journey into physiotherapy began with cricket. A cricketer herself, Dr. Sneha represented Hyderabad at the U-16 and U-19 levels as a wicketkeeper and batter. At 18, an ACL injury abruptly changed the course of her sporting journey. Rehabilitation introduced her to physiotherapy and showed her the transformative role it could play—not only in healing physical injuries, but also in rebuilding confidence and helping people return to what they love. What began as a setback eventually became her purpose.
After completing her BPT and MPT, she pursued specialised education in sports physiotherapy and football medicine, along with international certifications and rehabilitation programmes. Her professional journey has since taken her into high-performance sporting environments, where she has worked with athletes and teams including state cricket teams, men’s Ranji and U-23 teams and women’s cricket.
Building Momentum Sports Clinic marked another important chapter. Entrepreneurship demanded an entirely different skill set from clinical practice. Alongside treating patients, she had to learn leadership, finance, branding, marketing, operations, team building and business strategy. Her vision has consequently expanded beyond a conventional clinic: she aims to build a sports rehabilitation, performance and wellness ecosystem that can take people from pain to performance.
Her inspiration comes from people who continue to grow despite adversity, along with the mentors, athletes and patients who have shaped her perspective. As a woman entrepreneur, establishing credibility, making difficult decisions independently and navigating spaces where women can sometimes be underestimated have been challenges. Rather than allowing these experiences to define her, Dr. Sneha has used them to strengthen her identity and let her work speak for itself.
Education is another important part of her journey. Through Sneha Sports Physio Academy, she conducts workshops and educational programmes for students and young professionals. She also speaks at professional platforms, including TEDx and national conferences, and creates educational content to make scientific knowledge around injuries, rehabilitation, recovery and performance more accessible.
Her message to aspiring professionals is to start before they feel completely ready. Skills, knowledge, networks and character are built through action, learning and consistency. For women especially, she believes there should be no hesitation in taking up space and creating an identity of their own.
For Dr. Sneha, her story can be summed up simply: she turned her biggest setback into her biggest purpose. From athlete to physiotherapist, educator, speaker and entrepreneur, every stage has shaped her vision. Success, she believes, is ultimately about impact—helping an athlete return to the field, helping someone overcome pain, inspiring the next generation of physiotherapists or creating better standards of rehabilitation.
And fittingly, Momentum represents more than her organisation. It represents her philosophy: keep moving forward, keep learning and keep creating momentum.
Dr. Adity Pandey (PT), Physiotherapist, Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT), Founder – KiNova Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation

Dr. Adity Pandey (PT) is a physiotherapist, Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) and the Founder of KiNova Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation. Her approach to physiotherapy is centred on personalised, evidence-based care, with an emphasis on helping patients understand their conditions and work towards better movement, function and independence.
Physiotherapy began as a career choice for Dr. Adity but gradually evolved into something she wanted to build her life around. Her professional experience across clinical practice, teaching and a US-based physiotherapy setup gave her exposure to different approaches to patient care and ultimately strengthened her desire to create a practice of her own. Taking a step outside her comfort zone, she invested her savings and independently established KiNova.
Starting a clinic from scratch brought its share of uncertainty. Financial pressures, the responsibility of building a patient base and the constant question of whether the practice would succeed tested her confidence. Rather than allowing those concerns to dictate her approach, Dr. Adity focused on the fundamentals—giving every patient her best, understanding their individual concerns and explaining their condition rather than relying on routine treatment protocols.
Over time, patient results, referrals and word-of-mouth helped KiNova gain momentum. Within its first couple of months, the clinic was seeing around 20 patients a day, a milestone that gave Dr. Adity confidence that the foundation she was building was beginning to take shape. Yet, she remains grounded about the journey and considers herself a work in progress, with much more to learn and accomplish.
Her sister, Mishti Pandey, a YouTuber, has been a major source of inspiration. Watching her create an independent identity through consistent work taught Dr. Adity the value of believing in herself and staying committed to her goals. Her friend Nikhil Singh has also been an important source of encouragement, particularly during the more challenging phases of building the clinic.
As a woman entrepreneur, one of her biggest challenges has been learning to trust her own decisions. Building a business brings financial and emotional pressure, and moments of self-doubt are inevitable. For Dr. Adity, however, those moments have ultimately strengthened her confidence and resilience.
Beyond clinical practice, she creates content around physiotherapy, rehabilitation and professional life, while particularly enjoying interactions with students and young physiotherapists.
Her message to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple: don’t wait for everything to be perfect before you begin. Take calculated risks, keep developing your skills and give yourself time to grow. Most importantly, do not compare your beginning with someone else’s success.
Dr. Adity does not consider herself “successful” yet. For her, success is found in the smaller milestones—seeing a patient improve, earning someone’s trust and knowing that she built something of her own. KiNova, she believes, is only the beginning.
Dr. Jagjit Singh Malik, PT, Chief Physiotherapist

Dr. Jagjit Singh Malik, PT, is a Chief Physiotherapist with more than 19 years of clinical experience, specialising in complex and challenging cases. With a Master’s in Hospital Administration, a Master’s in Sports Physiotherapy and a Doctorate in Chiropractic Sciences, his career reflects a constant pursuit of clinical knowledge, entrepreneurship and professional growth. Today, he runs seven physiotherapy clinics across different hospitals, along with two charitable physiotherapy clinics focused on making quality care more accessible.
Interestingly, physiotherapy was not the profession he originally imagined for himself. As a child, Dr. Jagjit dreamed of being part of the film industry. He wanted to perform, create and connect with people, but growing up in a strict family environment meant that pursuing that dream did not seem possible. He eventually entered the medical field and became a physiotherapist. What initially felt like a departure from his childhood ambition gradually became a journey of discovering a different kind of stage.
Over the years, Dr. Jagjit built a career that extended beyond clinical practice. His entrepreneurial journey also took him into the fitness industry, where he established three fitness clubs. While two ventures faced losses, he chose to continue. His determination eventually led to Endurance Fitness Club in Sonipat, which he ran from 2013 to 2019. The venture became a significant milestone, developing into a prominent fitness destination and introducing one of the early CrossFit sections in North India.
Fitness brought him recognition, while physiotherapy gave him purpose, respect and a professional identity. Through years of clinical work, entrepreneurship and content creation, he has also built a community of more than 1.11 lakh followers. Yet he considers his patients, family and professional journey equally important milestones.
Dr. Jagjit describes himself as his own inspiration. His ambition, he says, has always come from within. He has faced failures, business losses and difficult phases, but has never allowed temporary setbacks to define him. Instead, each challenge became an opportunity to learn, adapt and work harder.
Beyond his clinical responsibilities, he is passionate about educating fellow healthcare professionals. He conducts workshops and training programmes across India, sharing his knowledge and experience in High-Velocity Low-Amplitude (HVLA) thrust techniques and chiropractic sciences. For him, professional success also means contributing to the growth of others.
His philosophy is straightforward: give your best to whatever you choose to do, stay serious about your dreams and remain committed even when circumstances become difficult. He believes that hard work can get you started, smart work can take you further, but the courage to continue when things fall apart is what ultimately shapes a meaningful life.
Dr. Jagjit may not have entered the film industry as he once dreamed, but he found his own platform through healthcare, fitness, education and content. His journey is a reminder that sometimes life changes the destination without taking away the dream of creating something extraordinary.
Dream it. Believe it. Work for it. Achieve it.
Dr. Divyansha Gehlot, Consultant Physiotherapist, Founder – Chill with Cure Physiotherapy Clinic

Dr. Divyansha Gehlot is a Consultant Physiotherapist and the Founder of Chill with Cure Physiotherapy Clinic in Jodhpur, which she established in 2025. For her, physiotherapy is not simply about treating pain. It is about helping people understand their bodies, improve movement and become active participants in their own recovery.
Her fascination with the medical field naturally drew her towards physiotherapy. What appealed to her was the profession’s emphasis on movement, exercise, awareness and patient participation. She describes herself as an ordinary student rather than a topper or gold medallist, but her journey has always been driven by sincerity, curiosity and a genuine desire to learn. Most importantly, she has remained committed to listening to her patients and giving each of them her best.
After completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur, she began her professional journey with the mindset of continuing to grow. Her internship became an important turning point, making her more serious about the profession and strengthening her desire to contribute to physiotherapy beyond clinical practice.
This also led her towards digital education. She began creating physiotherapy-related content on Instagram, initially with a simple intention: to use her knowledge to educate people and make useful information more accessible. Rather than chasing instant growth, she focused on consistency, continuously working on fresh and meaningful content. Over time, her digital presence grew organically and opened new opportunities, becoming another extension of her professional identity.
Her biggest inspiration is her mother, whose strength, fearlessness, positivity, honesty and willingness to help others have deeply influenced her. From her, Dr. Divyansha learned to remain positive during difficult circumstances, approach challenges with strength and retain the intention to help others.
As a young woman building her professional identity, she has also experienced the challenge of being underestimated or facing preconceived notions about what she can achieve. Her response has been to remain confident, work sincerely and allow her actions and results to speak for themselves. She believes ambition and compassion can coexist, and that strength does not require compromising femininity.
Beyond physiotherapy, she values family, meaningful relationships, personal growth and continuous learning. She believes that professional ambition becomes more fulfilling when accompanied by personal wellbeing and balance.
Her message to aspiring professionals is to not let insecurity or early self-doubt define their potential. She encourages people to stop comparing their timelines, embrace opportunities, respect their own progress and remain consistent even when results take time.
For Dr. Divyansha, success is not about reaching a particular position. It is about working with honesty, excellence, consistency and the right intention. Her guiding philosophy remains simple: “Work with excellence; success will follow.” She believes that when intentions are sincere and efforts remain consistent, challenges become lessons and opportunities gradually find their way into the journey.

As India celebrates Republic Day 2027, the nation honours the vision, dedication and extraordinary contributions of doctors who continue to strengthen its healthcare system and transform countless lives. From advancing medical science and pioneering innovative treatments to expanding access to quality healthcare and serving communities with compassion, these medical professionals exemplify the spirit of service, excellence and nation-building.
“Republic Day 2027: Honouring 10 Visionary Doctors of India” celebrates ten distinguished medical professionals whose expertise, leadership and commitment to patient care are making a lasting difference in the lives of people and contributing to a healthier, stronger and more resilient India.
. Harleen Gandhi Kalsi, Founder – Meraki Dental Studio

Dr. Harleen Gandhi Kalsi is an aesthetic dentist, educator, entrepreneur, and founder of Meraki Dental Studio in New Delhi. With a philosophy rooted in clinical excellence and personalized care, she has dedicated her career to helping people rediscover confidence through beautiful, healthy smiles.
Drawn to the unique blend of science, artistry, and human connection that dentistry offers, she found her calling in a profession that transforms not just oral health, but self-esteem and quality of life. Over the years, she has expanded her role beyond patient care, mentoring fellow dentists and contributing to the profession through lectures and educational programs.
Her journey has been one of courage and perseverance. Coming from a small city and moving to Delhi after marriage, she entered one of the country’s most competitive markets without the advantage of a medical background or established network. Beginning her career in a corporate dental chain before transitioning into private practice, she eventually took a leap of faith and founded Meraki Dental Studio in 2016.
The path was far from easy. Three clinic relocations, the uncertainty brought by two COVID lockdowns, and the challenges of building a brand from scratch tested her resilience. Yet, every obstacle strengthened her conviction and helped shape Meraki Dental Studio into one of India’s trusted destinations for aesthetic dentistry.
One of her greatest inspirations is the iconic artist Frida Kahlo, whose courage and authenticity taught her the power of turning adversity into strength. As a woman entrepreneur and mother of twins, balancing the demands of family and a growing practice often felt overwhelming. Those experiences, however, taught her adaptability, patience, and the importance of a strong support system.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Harleen is passionate about education and travel. She regularly conducts workshops and lectures in aesthetic dentistry and aligner therapy, finding immense fulfillment in sharing knowledge and helping young professionals grow.
Her message to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple: stop waiting for the perfect moment. Start with what you have, trust the process, and keep showing up consistently. Success, she believes, is not about perfection but persistence.
For Dr. Harleen Gandhi Kalsi, the greatest reward lies not in accolades, but in seeing patients smile with confidence, empowering fellow dentists, and inspiring others to pursue their dreams with courage and conviction.

“10 Women, One Nation” is a tribute to ten remarkable women achievers whose journeys reflect courage, resilience, excellence and a deep commitment to their vision. Their stories celebrate not only individual success but also the growing influence of women in building a stronger, more inclusive and self-reliant nation.
Masaba Gupta, Founder – House of Masaba

Masaba Gupta, renowned as one of India’s foremost fashion designers, has carved an inspiring path in the industry, overcoming challenges tied to her mixed heritage with unwavering determination. The daughter of veteran actor Neena Gupta, Masaba embarked on her fashion journey at just 19, debuting with a collection at Lakme Fashion Week. Armed with a degree in Apparel Manufacturing and Design, she initially explored the world of dance, earning accolades in college.
Masaba’s innate flair for fashion, coupled with a passionate attitude, led her to recognize her true calling. Balancing creativity, commercial appeal, and functionality, she founded ‘House of Masaba,’ her eponymous label that has garnered widespread acclaim. Breaking barriers, she became the first Indian designer to host a fashion show on Instagram, showcasing her innovative approach.
Despite initial challenges, Masaba’s persistence and creative prowess have seen her collaborate with renowned fashion brands.
Neha Sachde, Aesthetic Dermatologist, Founder – Metamorphosis Clinic

Dr. Neha Sachde is an Aesthetic Dermatologist and the Founder of Metamorphosis Clinic, one of India’s leading aesthetic and wellness clinic chains with nine centres across Mumbai and Delhi. A gold medalist in her MD, she has built a brand that combines evidence-based dermatology with cutting-edge aesthetic treatments, creating a trusted destination for skin health and confidence.
Medicine was her first calling, but entrepreneurship became her purpose. While clinical practice gave her the opportunity to transform individual lives, she envisioned something much larger—a platform that could elevate the standards of aesthetic dermatology in India. With that vision, she founded Metamorphosis Clinic, determined to create a space where science, ethics, and beauty coexist. What began as a single clinic has steadily grown into a respected multi-city brand known for delivering safe, personalized, and medically driven aesthetic care.
Over the past decade, Dr. Sachde has expanded Metamorphosis one clinic at a time, remaining committed to the belief that aesthetic medicine should always be rooted in scientific evidence rather than shortcuts or trends. Alongside building a successful healthcare enterprise, she has embraced multiple roles as a wife, mother of two, daughter, and entrepreneur, proving that professional ambition and personal life can strengthen rather than compete with each other.
Her greatest inspiration comes from the women she treats every day. Watching patients regain confidence and rediscover self-belief through thoughtful, ethical care continually reminds her why she chose this path. As a woman leading a business at the intersection of medicine, aesthetics, and entrepreneurship, she has often found herself having to establish credibility both as a doctor and as a founder. Balancing the responsibilities of scaling a growing company while raising a family has been demanding, but she believes that building a strong support system is one of the greatest strengths a leader can have.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Sachde is deeply involved in education and professional development through Metaderm Academy, where she trains and mentors young dermatologists, delivers academic lectures and workshops, and writes about skin health, entrepreneurship, and aesthetic medicine. She remains passionate about nurturing the next generation of doctors while contributing to the advancement of the specialty.
Her advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is clear: don’t wait for the perfect moment to begin. Start with what you have, stay consistent, and remember that while innovation may attract attention, it is discipline, integrity, and genuine care that build lasting success. She also encourages women to trust that ambition and compassion can coexist.
For Dr. Neha Sachde, Metamorphosis has never been about vanity—it has always been about confidence. Every treatment, every clinic, and every patient reflects her larger mission: helping people feel comfortable in their own skin while raising the benchmark for ethical, science-led aesthetic care in India.
