In a world that’s constantly evolving, these 10 inspiring women are leading the charge, breaking barriers, and redefining success on their own terms. From business and innovation to social impact and leadership, they represent the spirit of modern Indian womanhood—fearless, visionary, and unstoppable.
As part of our special 2026 edition, Mumbai Uncensored proudly honours these remarkable achievers whose journeys inspire a generation and embody the true essence of Nari Shakti.
Namita Thapar, Executive Director – Emcure Pharmaceuticals

Namita Thapar, CEO of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, is a renowned Indian entrepreneur celebrated for her impactful contributions to the healthcare sector. Her notable appearance on Shark Tank India has further cemented her status as an inspiring figure for budding entrepreneurs.
Hailing from Pune, Maharashtra, Namita Thapar belongs to a Gujarati family. Despite her affluent background, she has diligently carved a successful career path. Her academic journey includes a commerce degree from Pune University, a Chartered Accountancy degree from ICAI, and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Namita began her professional journey as the Business Finance Lead at Guidant Corporation in the US. After gaining valuable experience, she joined her father’s company, Emcure Pharmaceuticals, as the CFO in 2007.
Under her leadership, Emcure Pharmaceuticals has seen remarkable growth, expanding its presence to 70 countries.
Smita Ahuja, Talent strategist

Smita Ahuja represents a rare balance of style, intelligence, and substance. Moving seamlessly between strategic leadership and a vibrant personal life, she brings both instinct and precision to everything she does. As a talent strategist working across APAC, she plays a key role in shaping hiring ecosystems and integrating AI-driven frameworks into modern recruitment.
Her journey began in agency recruitment within the oil and gas sector, a field she entered without prior knowledge. Despite the steep learning curve, she quickly rose to become a top performer. That phase shaped her core belief: success is not about knowing everything at the start, but about learning faster than anyone else.
Over time, her role evolved beyond recruitment. She began training teams, building systems, and eventually designing AI-led frameworks to help recruiters stay relevant in a rapidly changing landscape. Working across diverse markets like India, Japan, Australia, and Singapore, she developed a strong ability to navigate cultural nuances and connect insights across regions.
One defining moment in her career involved mentoring a candidate who lacked confidence despite strong potential. With guidance and encouragement, the candidate secured a role at nearly three times her previous compensation. More importantly, she gained belief in her own worth. Moments like these define Smita’s idea of impact.
As a woman in leadership, she has navigated expectations and challenges with clarity and resilience. She believes in setting boundaries, staying authentic, and choosing growth over validation.
Outside work, she embraces fashion, travel, food, and learning as essential parts of life. For her, success is not static. It evolves with experience, impact, and personal growth.
Swheta Mutreja Aggarwal, Founder – @kookie_cake_crumble

Swheta Mutreja Aggarwal is a baker and chef whose journey is deeply rooted in passion, memory, and purpose. As the founder of @kookie_cake_crumble, she has transformed her love for baking into a growing brand built on authenticity, creativity, and continuous learning.
Her inspiration comes from her father, who played a defining role in shaping her relationship with food. Growing up, the kitchen was her happiest space. Watching her father cook fresh meals for the family every evening instilled in her not just skills, but a deep emotional connection with cooking. What began as admiration slowly evolved into a calling.
Although she completed a diploma from Sophia’s School of Polytechnic nearly two decades ago, she did not initially pursue baking professionally. It was only just before the lockdown that she chose to return to her passion, enrolling at the School for European Pastry to refine her skills through an eggless baking course. The lockdown, while challenging for many, became a turning point for her—allowing her brand to take shape and grow steadily.
Swheta strongly believes in lifelong learning. Her culinary journey has taken her across the world, learning authentic cuisines from their roots—Sri Lankan cuisine from Bentota and Colombo, Thai from Pattaya, Italian from Venice, ramen from Sydney, and regional Indian cuisines from Srinagar and Pahalgam. Each experience has added depth and diversity to her craft.
Today, alongside running her baking venture, she is also a food consultant, working with catering businesses and helping brands grow. Her professional journey is further strengthened by nearly three decades of experience in PR and marketing, which has enabled her to understand branding and business growth from a strategic perspective.
Her journey, however, has not been without challenges. As a woman, she has often faced discouragement and limiting beliefs—being told to remain confined to working from home or doubted for her ability to build something larger. There were moments of self-doubt, but she chose to rise above them, driven by her father’s belief in her and her own determination to fulfil that dream.
Beyond her professional life, she is a devoted mother to two children and shares her home with a beloved pet. She has also been actively involved in school initiatives as part of the PTA, reflecting her commitment beyond her career.
Her message to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple and heartfelt: pursue what you truly love, give it your full dedication, and trust the process.
Interestingly, her entrepreneurial spirit began early at just 16, she was already supplying cookies to Akbarallys and later to Rashmi Uday Singh’s store at Crossroads, marking the beginning of a journey that would come full circle years later.
Elisha Rajpal, Magician & Young Social Activist

For Mumbai-based student Elisha Rajpal, a personal hobby has always been a vehicle for social good. Her journey as a changemaker began at the young age of 12 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Turning a personal skill into a public fundraising initiative, she taught peers to solve the Rubik’s Cube, collecting donations directed entirely toward cancer charities. The viral effort caught widespread media attention, earning her nationwide coverage on ABP News.
Since then, Elisha has traded her Rubik’s Cube for a deck of cards, using magic as her primary tool to drive community impact. Her performances have taken her across diverse platforms. She regularly volunteers at local government schools, leveraging interactive magic to teach foundational logic to underserved children. Beyond the classroom, her talent has brought her to major high-profile events, where she performs live sets to anchor fundraisers for premier organisations like the Helping Hands Foundation.
Elisha has even taken her magic to care centres, hosting specialized events for mentally challenged children. Navigating a room with such heavy cognitive and behavioral differences is incredibly difficult, yet her unique power and gift lie in her ability to connect deeply with people in need, giving them her undivided time and empathy.
Now, Elisha is taking her mission global. Through her newly launched Instagram handle, she is shifting the spotlight from personal applause to collective action. She utilizes her digital platform to teach an international audience how to weaponize their own unique hobbies to champion critical human causes like women’s rights, child safety, and educational equity.
Elisha serves as living proof that individual passions can be selflessly deployed to create systemic change. She is leading a new generation of youth leadership—proving that the real magic lies in making the world a better place.
Meera Chalke, Wedding Photographer, Founder – Picture It by Meera

Meera Chalke is a wedding photographer and the founder of Picture It by Meera, a Mumbai based wedding photography brand known for capturing honest emotions and timeless stories through a deeply personal lens. Over the last decade, she has documented weddings across India as well as internationally in destinations such as the US, Canada, Europe, the UK, and Indonesia.
Her journey into photography began during her sister’s wedding in 2011, when she found herself drawn not just to the celebrations, but to the emotions quietly unfolding within them. Coming from a creative background with a B.Sc. in Animation and specialization in VFX, she naturally developed a strong sense of visual storytelling and artistic perspective.
In 2013, she co-founded a wedding photography company, where she learned the foundations of both photography and entrepreneurship. From handling clients to building systems and understanding the realities of running a business, those years became an important phase of growth. However, life took an unexpected turn after her separation in 2017. Instead of stepping away, she chose to rebuild herself and start again with clarity and resilience. That fresh beginning eventually became Picture It by Meera, a brand built entirely on courage, consistency, and self-belief.
Through years of dedication and genuine human connection, her work gradually evolved into a trusted name in the wedding industry. Beyond photography, Meera enjoys learning about entrepreneurship, mindful living, sustainability, and travelling. Observing people, cultures, and emotions continues to shape her creative process and storytelling style.
She believes one of the biggest strengths an entrepreneur can develop is the ability to solve problems with empathy and resourcefulness. According to her, skills can always be learned, but the ability to make life easier for others leaves a lasting impact.
For Meera, success is not just about building a business. It is about discovering strength through the process. What began as a career slowly became a journey of rebuilding herself, and in chasing her dreams, she ultimately found a stronger version of who she is.
Dr. Manjula Thakur, MD Dermatologist

Dr. Manjula Thakur is an MBBS doctor and MD Dermatologist currently practicing in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh. Alongside her clinical practice, she actively conducts weekly health camps in the rural areas of Bastar, where access to healthcare services remains limited. Her approach to medicine is deeply rooted in compassion, with a strong belief in treating one patient at a time while making healthcare more accessible to underserved communities.
Coming from a middle class family, Dr. Thakur always dreamed of becoming a doctor. She is the first generation doctor in her family, driven by a desire to serve society and create meaningful impact through healthcare. In a family and community where girls often get married in their early twenties, her parents stood firmly by her dreams and supported her education and ambitions wholeheartedly. She believes she is where she is today because of their love, sacrifices, and unwavering encouragement.
Her academic journey reflects dedication and perseverance. She cracked NEET in 2013 and completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh. Later, she successfully cleared NEET PG in 2022 and pursued her MD in Dermatology from Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences, Bilaspur. Today, she serves as a Senior Resident at her alma mater, Government Medical College Jagdalpur, giving back to the same institution that shaped her journey.
Her greatest inspiration comes from her family and her fiancé, who is an ophthalmologist. Their sacrifices, values, support, and resilience continue to motivate her personally and professionally.
As a woman in healthcare, balancing academics, high patient loads, emotional pressure, and personal responsibilities has not always been easy. However, these experiences helped her grow into a stronger, more resilient clinician and gave her a deeper perspective on life and patient care.
Beyond her profession, Dr. Thakur enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle, travelling, playing badminton, and exploring new cuisines and places. She has also contributed academically by publishing research papers in international journals and delivering talks at national and state level conferences.
She believes that being a dermatologist in India comes with its own challenges, especially in educating patients against misinformation spread by unqualified practitioners and misleading social media trends. Through her work, she aims to create awareness and ensure patients receive ethical, evidence based treatment and guidance.
For Dr. Manjula Thakur, success is not defined by status or achievements alone. She believes true success lies in health, peace of mind, and the ability to make a positive difference in society. Treating patients and serving communities keeps her grounded, grateful, and deeply connected to her purpose.

reporter
India’s physiotherapy landscape is undergoing a remarkable transformation, driven by passionate professionals who are redefining recovery, mobility, and quality of life. From sports rehabilitation to neurological care and post-surgical recovery, these experts are not just treating conditions—they are restoring confidence and independence in countless lives.
This special edition, “Success Stories: Top 10 Physiotherapists Transforming Lives Across India,” celebrates the journeys of these inspiring healers whose dedication, innovation, and patient-centric approach continue to set new benchmarks in modern rehabilitation care.
Dr. Sunita Patel, Physiotherapist

Dr. Sunita Patel is a physiotherapist specialising in pelvic care and women’s health, with a practice that combines clinical care with education. For her, treatment and awareness have to go hand in hand.
Her journey into pelvic health began with a deeply personal experience. After having her baby, she experienced pelvic health issues herself, which led her to discover Kegel exercises and explore the importance of the pelvic floor. One discovery led to another, eventually introducing her to pelvic rehabilitation. The more she learned, the more she felt that this was the work she was meant to do.
She began this journey around 2015, at a time when there were very few educators in India specialising in pelvic floor rehabilitation. With limited guidance available, much of her learning came through self-study, including books, research, articles and online resources. What started with understanding Kegels gradually expanded into learning about pelvic, bowel, bladder and sexual health.
The journey was challenging, but it eventually became both her passion and profession. Her greatest inspiration continues to be the women she meets and the stories they share. She also understands the importance of creating a safe and comfortable environment where women can speak openly about their health.
Beyond her professional life, Dr. Sunita is a mother, wife and family person. She believes success is not only about professional achievements, but also about building a fulfilling life.
Her message to aspiring professionals is simple: follow your dreams, but be willing to work for them. She believes in being “self-full” rather than selfish, making space for personal growth while pursuing professional goals.
For Dr. Sunita, there is no shortcut to excellence. Knowledge comes from learning, confidence comes from experience, and excellence comes from combining the two. Her advice is to keep learning, keep experiencing, never give up on your dreams and keep moving forward.
Dr. Aarti Anand Welling, MPT, (Ph.D.), Associate Professor – Orthopaedic Physiotherapy – KLE’s Institute of Physiotherapy

Dr. Aarti Anand Welling, MPT, (Ph.D.), is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Physiotherapy at KLE’s Institute of Physiotherapy, Belagavi, Karnataka, where she combines academic teaching, clinical practice and research. Her work is driven by a commitment to improving patients’ quality of life while nurturing the next generation of physiotherapy professionals.
Her journey is particularly meaningful because she once sat in the very classrooms where she now teaches. A former student of the institute, Dr. Aarti began her professional journey with a deep interest in healthcare and a desire to make a difference in people’s lives. Although she describes herself as an average and shy student during her school years, her determination, curiosity and willingness to learn gradually shaped her into an accomplished academician and clinician.
Over time, she discovered a passion for orthopaedic physiotherapy and teaching. She realised that her ambitions extended beyond clinical practice to mentoring students, contributing to research and advancing evidence-based physiotherapy. Today, guiding students as they develop clinical confidence, critical thinking and compassion remains one of the most fulfilling aspects of her career.
Research and innovation have also played a significant role in her professional journey. She has published more than 45 research articles in national and international indexed journals and served as Managing Editor of the Indian Journal of Physical Therapy and Research. Her research abstract was also selected for presentation and display at the Massage Therapy Foundation during the AMTA 2026 National Convention in Denver, USA, marking another milestone in her academic journey.
Her contributions include copyrighted physiotherapy protocols and assessment tools such as CERVIDURA for cervicogenic headache, SPARKS for tinnitus and KWAMPS for post-operative oral and maxillofacial rehabilitation. She has also contributed to patented innovations, including a sensor-based knee brace for osteoarthritis assessment and an instrument for assessing and treating trigger points. These initiatives reflect her commitment to translating clinical knowledge and research into practical tools that can advance physiotherapy practice.
Her dedication to teaching and research has earned her the Best Teacher Award (Students’ Choice) as well as the Best Teacher Award by KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research. She has also received the Research Excellence Award from Dr. D. Y. Patil University. For her, these recognitions are not destinations, but encouragement to continue learning, teaching and contributing to the profession.
Behind her achievements lies a strong support system. She credits her family, research guide, Dean Dr. Vijay Kage, and Head of Department Dr. Peeyoosha Gurudut for their guidance and encouragement. Like many women professionals, she has faced the challenge of balancing academic responsibilities, clinical practice, research and personal commitments. Through these experiences, she has remained guided by one principle: never give up.
Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family, painting, exploring new art forms and travelling. She considers her loved ones her source of balance and believes that a good teacher must always remain a student.
Her message to aspiring professionals, particularly young women, is simple: “Believe in yourself, even when you are not the best in the room.” For Dr. Aarti, success is not about being better than others, but about becoming better than who you were yesterday and helping others grow along the way.
Dr. Utsav Parikh, Founder & Director – JUST THERAPY

Dr. Utsav Parikh, Founder and Director of JUST THERAPY, is a physiotherapist, entrepreneur and widely recognised as Gujarat’s first Interventional Physiotherapist. Based in Ahmedabad, his journey has been shaped by an unexpected career choice, a willingness to take risks and a desire to create a different experience in physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Physiotherapy was never part of his original plan. After completing his 10th standard, Dr. Utsav envisioned a very different future. He wanted to become an automobile engineer, study design at CEPT and eventually pursue an MBA from IIM. However, circumstances led him towards a different path. After 12th, he found himself choosing between becoming a neurosurgeon and a physiotherapist. He chose physiotherapy, a decision he now believes was a redirection towards something much bigger.
He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Khayati Institute of Physiotherapy, Ahmedabad. During his studies, he realised that he did not want to follow a conventional professional route. He began working with reputed organisations and senior professionals, using those experiences to understand the field, identify gaps and determine the kind of practitioner and entrepreneur he wanted to become.
After completing his degree, he started his own practice and continued developing his clinical expertise. His intervention-based training in the UK during 2020–2021 further shaped his approach to patient care. In 2022, he founded JUST THERAPY with a vision that extended beyond establishing another physiotherapy clinic.
The idea was to create a healthcare brand that offered patients greater convenience, professionalism and specialised care. Today, JUST THERAPY has a strong focus on home healthcare in Ahmedabad, providing physiotherapy and rehabilitation services at patients’ doorsteps and at times convenient to them. The organisation has also developed specialised verticals across physiotherapy, rehabilitation, fitness and wellness.
For Dr. Utsav, entrepreneurship has been as much about building an ecosystem as building a business. He believes that professionals do not always need to view one another as competitors and that collaboration can help strengthen the healthcare sector as a whole.
His own journey has involved building credibility, a network, a team and a professional identity from the ground up. There were experiences where people he trusted did not meet his expectations, but those moments taught him independence, resilience and the importance of trusting his own decisions.
Outside his professional life, Dr. Utsav is a cyclist and marathon runner and occasionally plays badminton. He is also deeply interested in leadership, entrepreneurship and developing new healthcare models, particularly opportunities that can take specialised healthcare services beyond conventional markets.
One achievement particularly close to him is his association as a medical partner for marathon events recognised by the London Book of Records and World Book of Records. Yet he defines success more personally: building something from nothing, creating a team he believes in, serving people and continuing to learn.
His message to aspiring professionals is simple: believe in yourself, run your own race and never compare your first chapter with someone else’s nineteenth. Work honestly, keep learning, focus on your own growth and leave the outcome to God.
For Dr. Utsav, the journey is far from complete. JUST THERAPY is not simply his business; it is his attempt to redefine how people experience physiotherapy and contribute to the evolution of healthcare.
Dr. Jhanvi K. Rathod, Physiotherapist & Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT)

Dr. Jhanvi K. Rathod is a Physiotherapist and Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) currently working at Asian Physiotherapy and Research Institute, Surat. A graduate of SPB Physiotherapy College, Surat, her journey into the profession is one of resilience, perseverance and an unwavering refusal to give up.
Until Class 10, Jhanvi was a bright student, consistently scoring between 80 and 90 percent. However, the years that followed brought a series of setbacks she could never have anticipated. From Class 11 and 12 to NEET, GUJCET and her first year of college, she faced more than ten failures across examinations and academic milestones over nearly seven and a half years. Not once during that period did she clear an exam on her first attempt.
There came a point when the repeated setbacks made her consider giving up on her studies altogether. It was then that her family became her strongest support system. They continued to believe in her even when she struggled to believe in herself. Her father, Ketan M. Rathod, played a particularly important role in helping her find a new direction. When she was ready to leave her studies, he secured her admission into Physiotherapy—a decision that eventually changed the course of her life.
Today, Jhanvi looks back at those difficult years differently. What once felt like failure after failure became the foundation of her resilience. She is now actively building her professional identity through clinical work, research, conferences and public awareness. She regularly attends conferences and presents research, while also creating physiotherapy awareness content to make useful information accessible to students and the public.
Her father remains the person she most admires. Ketan M. Rathod taught her lessons that extend far beyond academics—from punctuality and handling important responsibilities to maintaining relationships and treating people with fairness. She recalls how he would often arrive at hospitals and clinics before her while she was applying for opportunities. His consistency and balanced approach to people are qualities she hopes to embody.
Jhanvi also believes strongly in giving back. She has voluntarily worked as an on-field physiotherapist at two state-level powerlifting competitions and a taekwondo competition in Surat, and has participated in a free health camp. These experiences allow her to contribute beyond her regular clinical responsibilities while strengthening her connection with the community.
As a young professional, she is still at the beginning of her journey, but her message comes from personal experience: never give up. Failure, even repeated failure, does not determine where someone will ultimately reach. Sometimes the path demands that you try, fail, learn and try again—more times than you ever imagined.
For Jhanvi, success is still being written. But after everything she has overcome, one thing is certain: she is no longer defined by the examinations she failed, but by the determination with which she kept moving forward.
Dr. Sneha Tiwari, Sports Rehabilitation Specialist, Founder – Momentum Sports Clinic & Sneha Sports Physio Academy

Dr. Sneha Tiwari is a Sports Physiotherapist, Sports Rehabilitation Specialist, entrepreneur and speaker, and the Founder of Momentum Sports Clinic and Sneha Sports Physio Academy. With over seven years of professional experience, her work spans sports rehabilitation, injury prevention, pain management, strength and conditioning, and helping athletes return to their sport stronger and more confident.
Her journey into physiotherapy began with cricket. A cricketer herself, Dr. Sneha represented Hyderabad at the U-16 and U-19 levels as a wicketkeeper and batter. At 18, an ACL injury abruptly changed the course of her sporting journey. Rehabilitation introduced her to physiotherapy and showed her the transformative role it could play—not only in healing physical injuries, but also in rebuilding confidence and helping people return to what they love. What began as a setback eventually became her purpose.
After completing her BPT and MPT, she pursued specialised education in sports physiotherapy and football medicine, along with international certifications and rehabilitation programmes. Her professional journey has since taken her into high-performance sporting environments, where she has worked with athletes and teams including state cricket teams, men’s Ranji and U-23 teams and women’s cricket.
Building Momentum Sports Clinic marked another important chapter. Entrepreneurship demanded an entirely different skill set from clinical practice. Alongside treating patients, she had to learn leadership, finance, branding, marketing, operations, team building and business strategy. Her vision has consequently expanded beyond a conventional clinic: she aims to build a sports rehabilitation, performance and wellness ecosystem that can take people from pain to performance.
Her inspiration comes from people who continue to grow despite adversity, along with the mentors, athletes and patients who have shaped her perspective. As a woman entrepreneur, establishing credibility, making difficult decisions independently and navigating spaces where women can sometimes be underestimated have been challenges. Rather than allowing these experiences to define her, Dr. Sneha has used them to strengthen her identity and let her work speak for itself.
Education is another important part of her journey. Through Sneha Sports Physio Academy, she conducts workshops and educational programmes for students and young professionals. She also speaks at professional platforms, including TEDx and national conferences, and creates educational content to make scientific knowledge around injuries, rehabilitation, recovery and performance more accessible.
Her message to aspiring professionals is to start before they feel completely ready. Skills, knowledge, networks and character are built through action, learning and consistency. For women especially, she believes there should be no hesitation in taking up space and creating an identity of their own.
For Dr. Sneha, her story can be summed up simply: she turned her biggest setback into her biggest purpose. From athlete to physiotherapist, educator, speaker and entrepreneur, every stage has shaped her vision. Success, she believes, is ultimately about impact—helping an athlete return to the field, helping someone overcome pain, inspiring the next generation of physiotherapists or creating better standards of rehabilitation.
And fittingly, Momentum represents more than her organisation. It represents her philosophy: keep moving forward, keep learning and keep creating momentum.
Dr. Adity Pandey (PT), Physiotherapist, Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT), Founder – KiNova Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation

Dr. Adity Pandey (PT) is a physiotherapist, Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) and the Founder of KiNova Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation. Her approach to physiotherapy is centred on personalised, evidence-based care, with an emphasis on helping patients understand their conditions and work towards better movement, function and independence.
Physiotherapy began as a career choice for Dr. Adity but gradually evolved into something she wanted to build her life around. Her professional experience across clinical practice, teaching and a US-based physiotherapy setup gave her exposure to different approaches to patient care and ultimately strengthened her desire to create a practice of her own. Taking a step outside her comfort zone, she invested her savings and independently established KiNova.
Starting a clinic from scratch brought its share of uncertainty. Financial pressures, the responsibility of building a patient base and the constant question of whether the practice would succeed tested her confidence. Rather than allowing those concerns to dictate her approach, Dr. Adity focused on the fundamentals—giving every patient her best, understanding their individual concerns and explaining their condition rather than relying on routine treatment protocols.
Over time, patient results, referrals and word-of-mouth helped KiNova gain momentum. Within its first couple of months, the clinic was seeing around 20 patients a day, a milestone that gave Dr. Adity confidence that the foundation she was building was beginning to take shape. Yet, she remains grounded about the journey and considers herself a work in progress, with much more to learn and accomplish.
Her sister, Mishti Pandey, a YouTuber, has been a major source of inspiration. Watching her create an independent identity through consistent work taught Dr. Adity the value of believing in herself and staying committed to her goals. Her friend Nikhil Singh has also been an important source of encouragement, particularly during the more challenging phases of building the clinic.
As a woman entrepreneur, one of her biggest challenges has been learning to trust her own decisions. Building a business brings financial and emotional pressure, and moments of self-doubt are inevitable. For Dr. Adity, however, those moments have ultimately strengthened her confidence and resilience.
Beyond clinical practice, she creates content around physiotherapy, rehabilitation and professional life, while particularly enjoying interactions with students and young physiotherapists.
Her message to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple: don’t wait for everything to be perfect before you begin. Take calculated risks, keep developing your skills and give yourself time to grow. Most importantly, do not compare your beginning with someone else’s success.
Dr. Adity does not consider herself “successful” yet. For her, success is found in the smaller milestones—seeing a patient improve, earning someone’s trust and knowing that she built something of her own. KiNova, she believes, is only the beginning.
Dr. Jagjit Singh Malik, PT, Chief Physiotherapist

Dr. Jagjit Singh Malik, PT, is a Chief Physiotherapist with more than 19 years of clinical experience, specialising in complex and challenging cases. With a Master’s in Hospital Administration, a Master’s in Sports Physiotherapy and a Doctorate in Chiropractic Sciences, his career reflects a constant pursuit of clinical knowledge, entrepreneurship and professional growth. Today, he runs seven physiotherapy clinics across different hospitals, along with two charitable physiotherapy clinics focused on making quality care more accessible.
Interestingly, physiotherapy was not the profession he originally imagined for himself. As a child, Dr. Jagjit dreamed of being part of the film industry. He wanted to perform, create and connect with people, but growing up in a strict family environment meant that pursuing that dream did not seem possible. He eventually entered the medical field and became a physiotherapist. What initially felt like a departure from his childhood ambition gradually became a journey of discovering a different kind of stage.
Over the years, Dr. Jagjit built a career that extended beyond clinical practice. His entrepreneurial journey also took him into the fitness industry, where he established three fitness clubs. While two ventures faced losses, he chose to continue. His determination eventually led to Endurance Fitness Club in Sonipat, which he ran from 2013 to 2019. The venture became a significant milestone, developing into a prominent fitness destination and introducing one of the early CrossFit sections in North India.
Fitness brought him recognition, while physiotherapy gave him purpose, respect and a professional identity. Through years of clinical work, entrepreneurship and content creation, he has also built a community of more than 1.11 lakh followers. Yet he considers his patients, family and professional journey equally important milestones.
Dr. Jagjit describes himself as his own inspiration. His ambition, he says, has always come from within. He has faced failures, business losses and difficult phases, but has never allowed temporary setbacks to define him. Instead, each challenge became an opportunity to learn, adapt and work harder.
Beyond his clinical responsibilities, he is passionate about educating fellow healthcare professionals. He conducts workshops and training programmes across India, sharing his knowledge and experience in High-Velocity Low-Amplitude (HVLA) thrust techniques and chiropractic sciences. For him, professional success also means contributing to the growth of others.
His philosophy is straightforward: give your best to whatever you choose to do, stay serious about your dreams and remain committed even when circumstances become difficult. He believes that hard work can get you started, smart work can take you further, but the courage to continue when things fall apart is what ultimately shapes a meaningful life.
Dr. Jagjit may not have entered the film industry as he once dreamed, but he found his own platform through healthcare, fitness, education and content. His journey is a reminder that sometimes life changes the destination without taking away the dream of creating something extraordinary.
Dream it. Believe it. Work for it. Achieve it.
Dr. Divyansha Gehlot, Consultant Physiotherapist, Founder – Chill with Cure Physiotherapy Clinic

Dr. Divyansha Gehlot is a Consultant Physiotherapist and the Founder of Chill with Cure Physiotherapy Clinic in Jodhpur, which she established in 2025. For her, physiotherapy is not simply about treating pain. It is about helping people understand their bodies, improve movement and become active participants in their own recovery.
Her fascination with the medical field naturally drew her towards physiotherapy. What appealed to her was the profession’s emphasis on movement, exercise, awareness and patient participation. She describes herself as an ordinary student rather than a topper or gold medallist, but her journey has always been driven by sincerity, curiosity and a genuine desire to learn. Most importantly, she has remained committed to listening to her patients and giving each of them her best.
After completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur, she began her professional journey with the mindset of continuing to grow. Her internship became an important turning point, making her more serious about the profession and strengthening her desire to contribute to physiotherapy beyond clinical practice.
This also led her towards digital education. She began creating physiotherapy-related content on Instagram, initially with a simple intention: to use her knowledge to educate people and make useful information more accessible. Rather than chasing instant growth, she focused on consistency, continuously working on fresh and meaningful content. Over time, her digital presence grew organically and opened new opportunities, becoming another extension of her professional identity.
Her biggest inspiration is her mother, whose strength, fearlessness, positivity, honesty and willingness to help others have deeply influenced her. From her, Dr. Divyansha learned to remain positive during difficult circumstances, approach challenges with strength and retain the intention to help others.
As a young woman building her professional identity, she has also experienced the challenge of being underestimated or facing preconceived notions about what she can achieve. Her response has been to remain confident, work sincerely and allow her actions and results to speak for themselves. She believes ambition and compassion can coexist, and that strength does not require compromising femininity.
Beyond physiotherapy, she values family, meaningful relationships, personal growth and continuous learning. She believes that professional ambition becomes more fulfilling when accompanied by personal wellbeing and balance.
Her message to aspiring professionals is to not let insecurity or early self-doubt define their potential. She encourages people to stop comparing their timelines, embrace opportunities, respect their own progress and remain consistent even when results take time.
For Dr. Divyansha, success is not about reaching a particular position. It is about working with honesty, excellence, consistency and the right intention. Her guiding philosophy remains simple: “Work with excellence; success will follow.” She believes that when intentions are sincere and efforts remain consistent, challenges become lessons and opportunities gradually find their way into the journey.

Drawn to the unique blend of science, artistry, and human connection that dentistry offers, she found her calling in a profession that transforms not just oral health, but self-esteem and quality of life. Over the years, she has expanded her role beyond patient care, mentoring fellow dentists and contributing to the profession through lectures and educational programs.
Her journey has been one of courage and perseverance. Coming from a small city and moving to Delhi after marriage, she entered one of the country’s most competitive markets without the advantage of a medical background or established network. Beginning her career in a corporate dental chain before transitioning into private practice, she eventually took a leap of faith and founded Meraki Dental Studio in 2016.
The path was far from easy. Three clinic relocations, the uncertainty brought by two COVID lockdowns, and the challenges of building a brand from scratch tested her resilience. Yet, every obstacle strengthened her conviction and helped shape Meraki Dental Studio into one of India’s trusted destinations for aesthetic dentistry.
One of her greatest inspirations is the iconic artist Frida Kahlo, whose courage and authenticity taught her the power of turning adversity into strength. As a woman entrepreneur and mother of twins, balancing the demands of family and a growing practice often felt overwhelming. Those experiences, however, taught her adaptability, patience, and the importance of a strong support system.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Harleen is passionate about education and travel. She regularly conducts workshops and lectures in aesthetic dentistry and aligner therapy, finding immense fulfillment in sharing knowledge and helping young professionals grow.
Her message to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple: stop waiting for the perfect moment. Start with what you have, trust the process, and keep showing up consistently. Success, she believes, is not about perfection but persistence.
For Dr. Harleen Gandhi Kalsi, the greatest reward lies not in accolades, but in seeing patients smile with confidence, empowering fellow dentists, and inspiring others to pursue their dreams with courage and conviction.

Masaba Gupta, Founder – House of Masaba

Masaba Gupta, renowned as one of India’s foremost fashion designers, has carved an inspiring path in the industry, overcoming challenges tied to her mixed heritage with unwavering determination. The daughter of veteran actor Neena Gupta, Masaba embarked on her fashion journey at just 19, debuting with a collection at Lakme Fashion Week. Armed with a degree in Apparel Manufacturing and Design, she initially explored the world of dance, earning accolades in college.
Masaba’s innate flair for fashion, coupled with a passionate attitude, led her to recognize her true calling. Balancing creativity, commercial appeal, and functionality, she founded ‘House of Masaba,’ her eponymous label that has garnered widespread acclaim. Breaking barriers, she became the first Indian designer to host a fashion show on Instagram, showcasing her innovative approach.
Despite initial challenges, Masaba’s persistence and creative prowess have seen her collaborate with renowned fashion brands.
Neha Sachde, Aesthetic Dermatologist, Founder – Metamorphosis Clinic

Dr. Neha Sachde is an Aesthetic Dermatologist and the Founder of Metamorphosis Clinic, one of India’s leading aesthetic and wellness clinic chains with nine centres across Mumbai and Delhi. A gold medalist in her MD, she has built a brand that combines evidence-based dermatology with cutting-edge aesthetic treatments, creating a trusted destination for skin health and confidence.
Medicine was her first calling, but entrepreneurship became her purpose. While clinical practice gave her the opportunity to transform individual lives, she envisioned something much larger—a platform that could elevate the standards of aesthetic dermatology in India. With that vision, she founded Metamorphosis Clinic, determined to create a space where science, ethics, and beauty coexist. What began as a single clinic has steadily grown into a respected multi-city brand known for delivering safe, personalized, and medically driven aesthetic care.
Over the past decade, Dr. Sachde has expanded Metamorphosis one clinic at a time, remaining committed to the belief that aesthetic medicine should always be rooted in scientific evidence rather than shortcuts or trends. Alongside building a successful healthcare enterprise, she has embraced multiple roles as a wife, mother of two, daughter, and entrepreneur, proving that professional ambition and personal life can strengthen rather than compete with each other.
Her greatest inspiration comes from the women she treats every day. Watching patients regain confidence and rediscover self-belief through thoughtful, ethical care continually reminds her why she chose this path. As a woman leading a business at the intersection of medicine, aesthetics, and entrepreneurship, she has often found herself having to establish credibility both as a doctor and as a founder. Balancing the responsibilities of scaling a growing company while raising a family has been demanding, but she believes that building a strong support system is one of the greatest strengths a leader can have.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Sachde is deeply involved in education and professional development through Metaderm Academy, where she trains and mentors young dermatologists, delivers academic lectures and workshops, and writes about skin health, entrepreneurship, and aesthetic medicine. She remains passionate about nurturing the next generation of doctors while contributing to the advancement of the specialty.
Her advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is clear: don’t wait for the perfect moment to begin. Start with what you have, stay consistent, and remember that while innovation may attract attention, it is discipline, integrity, and genuine care that build lasting success. She also encourages women to trust that ambition and compassion can coexist.
For Dr. Neha Sachde, Metamorphosis has never been about vanity—it has always been about confidence. Every treatment, every clinic, and every patient reflects her larger mission: helping people feel comfortable in their own skin while raising the benchmark for ethical, science-led aesthetic care in India.
