Dr. Tanvee Sachin Somaiya, Founder – DentAbode

Dr. Tanvee Sachin Somaiya is a dentist and a specialist in orofacial pain, temporomandibular disorders and dental sleep medicine, with a practice rooted in both clinical precision and patient comfort. With advanced training from Roseman University, Smile USA Academy, Greifswald University and ILAMED, her work focuses on addressing complex pain conditions while also transforming smiles with care and empathy.
Her journey into dentistry began with a deep interest in biology and a desire to become a doctor. As a dental patient herself, she became aware of how neglected oral health is in society despite the intensity of dental pain. That realization shaped her decision to pursue dentistry with the intent of creating awareness and making a meaningful difference.
After completing her BDS from MGM Dental College, she began her career as an associate dentist, an experience that strengthened her clinical foundation and patient connection. In 2017, she established her own clinic, DentAbode, with the vision of creating a space where patients feel at ease while receiving high quality care. Over time, her curiosity led her to explore lesser known areas such as orofacial pain and dental sleep medicine, where she found her true calling. Today, she is focused on helping patients understand that chronic facial pain and even snoring are not conditions to be ignored.
Her inspiration comes from her mentor, Dr. Samidha Gandhi, whose ability to balance multiple roles left a lasting impression. As a woman, she faced challenges ranging from being underestimated due to her physical appearance to balancing personal and professional responsibilities. Each experience strengthened her resilience and sharpened her focus.
Beyond dentistry, she finds joy in writing, art, baking and continuous learning, and has authored a poetry collection titled A Bouquet of Unspoken Words; Ardent Expressions.
For Dr. Somaiya, success lies in ethics, purpose and growth. Her journey continues with a clear mission to spread awareness, relieve pain and create healthier, happier smiles. The journey has been possible with unwavering support from husband, family, friends, teachers, patients and staff!
Dr. Bela Chaudhry, Homeopathic Doctor & Cosmetologist

Dr. Bela Chaudhry is a homeopathic doctor and cosmetologist based in New Delhi, dedicated to holistic healing and overall well-being. With a practice that extends globally through online consultations—and even includes treatment for pets—she brings a comprehensive and compassionate approach to healthcare.
Her journey into medicine began early, shaped by a deeply personal experience of witnessing a loved one recover through the right treatment. That moment left a lasting impression and inspired her to pursue a path in healing. Over time, she was drawn to homeopathy for its gentle, root-cause-focused philosophy, aligning with her belief in treating the individual as a whole rather than just addressing symptoms.
A gold medalist in her field, Dr. Bela Chaudhry completed her BHMS and later achieved her MD at the age of 43—an accomplishment that reflects her commitment to lifelong learning and growth. With over four decades of experience, she has worked as a visiting consultant with reputed organizations such as ONGC, BPCL, HPCL, and Balmer Lawrie in Mumbai, alongside over 20 years of private practice across New Delhi, Jaipur, and Udaipur.
She has been invited to share her expertise on platforms like Zee TV, Republic TV, and CNBC, and has received multiple recognitions, including Best Homeopathic Doctor and Lifetime Achievement Awards. Most significantly, she has impacted and healed over 100,000 lives through her practice.
Beyond her clinical work, she is actively involved in philanthropy. Through a family-run trust, she supports underprivileged children by providing computer education and skill development programs. She also offers free treatment to patients from below-poverty-line backgrounds, reinforcing her belief that healthcare should be accessible to all.
Her greatest inspiration comes from her patients—their trust and recovery continue to motivate her every day. As a woman, she has navigated the challenges of balancing personal responsibilities with professional growth, emerging stronger and more empathetic through each phase.
Outside her profession, she practices meditation, maintains an active lifestyle, and enjoys travelling, all of which help her stay aligned with the principles of holistic living.
Her message is simple yet powerful: never compromise on your health while chasing success. Stay consistent, keep learning, and let your purpose guide you.
Dr. Ravneet Kaur, Dermatologist, Founder – Dr. Ravneet’s Skin Clinic

Dr. Ravneet Kaur is a Dermatologist and the founder of Dr. Ravneet’s Skin Clinic, Advanced Dermatosurgery and Aesthetics. Her journey in dermatology has been shaped by strong clinical foundations, years of patient care, and a balanced approach that combines medical dermatology with aesthetic treatments.
After completing her MBBS, she developed a deeper interest in dermatology during her clinical postings, where she realized the specialty extended far beyond acne and skincare. The field’s wide spectrum—from chronic conditions like Psoriasis and Eczema to infections, hair disorders, and sexually transmitted diseases—drew her toward a branch that required both sharp diagnostic skills and empathetic patient care.
She later completed her MD in Dermatology after securing a strong rank in NEET PG and began her career as a government doctor in a Government Medical College. Those early years proved to be some of the most formative in her professional journey. Managing 150 to 200 patients a day in busy OPDs helped her sharpen her clinical judgment and build confidence in diagnosis and treatment. Working in resource limited settings also taught her how to manage patients effectively with practical solutions and strong fundamentals rather than relying solely on expensive investigations or technology.
Over time, she transitioned into private practice, where she was able to dedicate more time to individual patients and expand into dermatosurgery, lasers, peels, and aesthetic dermatology. Building her own clinic was not easy in the beginning. Like most independent practices, growth came slowly through trust, word of mouth, and consistent patient results. Today, her practice reflects a balance between clinical dermatology and cosmetic procedures while remaining rooted in ethical and honest care.
Dr. Ravneet credits much of her inspiration to her senior professors, especially women who successfully balanced medicine, leadership, and family life. She is also deeply inspired by patients dealing with chronic skin conditions like Vitiligo and Psoriasis, where treatment often requires emotional support as much as medical management.
Outside clinical work, she remains academically active through conferences, workshops, and continuing medical education programs. She also believes strongly in patient education and regularly works to spread awareness about common skin conditions and skincare misconceptions.
For Dr. Ravneet Kaur, success is not measured only by the scale of a clinic, but by the trust patients place in their doctor and the lasting impact created through compassionate care, consistency, and resilience.
Dr. Sachin Arora, Consultant Psychiatrist

Dr. Sachin Arora is a Consultant Psychiatrist based in New Delhi, known for his work in mental healthcare, medical education, and corporate wellness. Over the years, he has built a career that combines clinical excellence with large scale impact, not only through patient care but also through teaching and mentoring thousands of doctors across the country.
Originally from Rohtak, Haryana, Dr. Arora became the first doctor in his family when he secured a government MBBS seat through the All India PMT examination in his very first attempt in 2006. His medical journey then took him across India, beginning with six years of MBBS in Nagpur, Maharashtra, followed by an MD in Psychiatry from Guwahati, Assam, which he again secured through a government seat in his first attempt in 2012. After completing his MD, he worked as an Assistant Professor in a medical college before transitioning into private psychiatric practice, where he has now spent almost a decade.
What makes his journey particularly inspiring is the resilience behind it. For more than 22 years, Dr. Arora has lived with severe migraine attacks, which often limited his study hours, disrupted routines, and affected his physical endurance. Despite these challenges, he continued to pursue his goals with consistency and determination, eventually building the career he once dreamed of as a young student from a small town.
Alongside clinical practice, Dr. Arora has made a significant contribution to medical education. Through his long association with DAMS (Delhi Academy of Medical Sciences), he has taught more than 1.4 lakh MBBS students across India over the past 13 years. Today, more than a thousand practicing psychiatrists in the country have been his students at some stage of their academic journey. He is also the founder of The Cortex Advisory, a mental health startup focused on corporate mental wellness.
He credits much of his strength and motivation to his family, especially his wife, Dr. Prerna, whom he met during MBBS and who has been a constant source of support for the past 17 years.
For Dr. Sachin Arora, success is not measured only by the number of patients he personally treats, but by the ripple effect created through every doctor he has mentored and every life they go on to impact.
Dr. Tejinder Kaur, Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

Dr. Tejinder Kaur is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist practicing in a leading corporate hospital in Mohali, Punjab. With years of clinical experience across the spectrum of women’s health, she has built her journey around compassionate care, continuous learning, and empowering women through awareness and education.
Her dream of becoming a doctor began in childhood, but her connection to Obstetrics and Gynaecology became clear during her internship years. She was naturally drawn to a specialty that combines medicine and surgery while allowing long term relationships with patients through different stages of life. As a woman herself, the field resonated with her deeply, helping her understand the physical, hormonal, and emotional transitions women experience. Over time, motherhood further strengthened this connection, giving her an even deeper perspective into the journeys of her patients.
Dr. Kaur completed her schooling in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands before pursuing her medical education at Dr. S.N. Medical College, Jodhpur, graduating in 2004. She later completed her DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Apollo Hospital, Chennai, followed by years of working alongside senior gynaecologists in Chandigarh. In 2017, she established her own practice in the Chandigarh Mohali region and is currently associated with Motherhood Hospital, Mohali. She has also completed a Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and training in Non Surgical Cosmetic Gynaecology.
Beyond clinical practice, she actively works to spread awareness about hormonal health and women’s wellness through educational sessions and community interactions. Creating spaces where women feel comfortable discussing their health openly remains one of the most meaningful aspects of her work.
Fitness and well being are central to her life. Strength training, running, and gym workouts are non negotiable parts of her routine, helping her stay mentally and physically resilient. She is also passionate about Bhangra, which she describes as a source of energy and joy.
For Dr. Tejinder Kaur, success is not a fixed destination but a continuous process of growth, reflection, and balance. She believes true fulfillment comes from staying grounded, evolving through every challenge, and remaining connected to both purpose and positivity.
Dr. Ankit Malhotra, Physiotherapist

Dr. Ankit Malhotra is a professional physiotherapist dedicated to helping people recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve their overall physical performance and quality of life. With a strong interest in movement, rehabilitation, and human biomechanics, he has built his career around enabling patients to regain strength, confidence, and independence through physiotherapy.
His decision to pursue this field came from a genuine fascination with the human body and the science of recovery. The ability to help someone get back on their feet after pain, injury, or physical limitation became the driving force behind his journey into physiotherapy.
Over the years, his professional path has been shaped by continuous learning, hands on clinical experience, and a commitment to self improvement. From understanding complex patient conditions to applying the right rehabilitation techniques, every case has contributed to his growth as a healthcare professional. With time, he has developed confidence in handling a wide range of conditions while focusing on delivering meaningful and lasting results for his patients.
For Dr. Malhotra, the biggest source of inspiration comes from the patients themselves. Watching someone recover physically and emotionally after treatment remains one of the most rewarding aspects of his profession. At the same time, his journey has come with its share of challenges, including earning trust during the early stages of his career, managing difficult cases, and constantly upgrading his knowledge in an ever evolving healthcare environment. He believes these experiences have strengthened him both personally and professionally.
Beyond his clinical practice, he is deeply involved in fitness and maintaining an active lifestyle. He also creates content related to health, fitness, and physique awareness, using digital platforms to educate and connect with a wider audience about physical well being and preventive care.
His message to aspiring professionals is clear: stay consistent and never stop learning. In healthcare, knowledge, skill, and trust are what truly define impact. According to him, focusing on genuine results and patient care naturally leads to long term success and fulfillment.
Dr. Urvi Mankekar, Physiotherapist – Neurological Paediatric Physiotherapy

Dr. Urvi Mankekar (PT) is a physiotherapist specialising in neurological paediatric physiotherapy, while also working with adult and geriatric populations dealing with musculoskeletal and neurological concerns. Alongside her clinical practice, she is also a Dance Movement Therapy Facilitator, conducting movement based sessions that support emotional wellbeing, nervous system regulation, and holistic healing.
Her journey into healthcare was driven by a deep desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. From a young age, she was fascinated by Biology, the human body, and the science of healing. Over time, this interest evolved into a passion for physiotherapy and movement based rehabilitation. What inspired her most was realizing that movement has the power to influence not just physical health, but emotional and mental wellbeing as well. This understanding eventually led her toward Dance Movement Therapy, allowing her to combine science, creativity, empathy, and human connection in her work.
Over the years, Dr. Urvi has worked with individuals across all age groups, from children with neurological and developmental conditions to adults and elderly patients managing physical and neurological challenges. Through these experiences, she realized that healing extends beyond the physical body. Many people carry emotions, stress, and experiences that also need space for expression and support. This insight shaped her approach toward creating safe, inclusive, and compassionate environments where individuals can reconnect with themselves through movement and therapy.
Her greatest inspiration comes from her neurodiverse and differently abled paediatric patients. Working with them has taught her resilience, empathy, patience, courage, and the importance of celebrating even the smallest milestones. She believes that true healing begins when people feel seen, accepted, and supported.
Outside her profession, she enjoys dancing, painting, travelling, exploring new cultures, and spending quality time with her family. These experiences continue to nurture her creativity and emotional balance.
For Dr. Urvi Mankekar, success is not measured only through achievements or recognition. It is reflected in every child who gains confidence, every individual who feels emotionally lighter through movement, and every person who leaves therapy feeling more connected to themselves. She believes healing happens through empathy, connection, movement, and compassion, and she hopes to continue carrying that intention forward in every aspect of her work.
Dr. Charmie Jhaveri, Homeopathic Psychiatrist & Psychologist

Dr. Charmie Jhaveri is a Homeopathic Psychiatrist and Psychologist whose work focuses on emotional healing, counseling psychology, and understanding the deeper connection between the mind, body, and sensory systems. For her, this field was never just a profession. From a very young age, she was fascinated by human emotions, behavior, memory, and the way different people respond differently to the same experiences.
Her curiosity about the human mind gradually evolved into a lifelong passion for psychology and healing. While studying medicine, she found herself drawn not only to understanding diseases, but to understanding people themselves. Questions around trauma, attachment, emotional reactions, and cognitive behavior shaped the direction of her work and continue to influence her approach today.
As a student of Homeopathy, she was trained to approach every patient with an unprejudiced mind, listening deeply to individual expressions, emotions, and symptoms without judgment. This foundation helped her transition naturally into the fields of psychiatry and psychology, where understanding the uniqueness of every individual became central to her work. She believes this unbiased and patient-centered approach allows people to feel emotionally safe, heard, and understood during the healing process.
Over the years, Dr. Charmie has explored psychotherapy, counseling psychology, emotional processing, stress management, trauma-focused approaches, and neuroscience. One area that deeply fascinated her was the connection between emotions and the sensory system. She believes that the brain stores emotional experiences through sensory coding, where sounds, smells, touch, visuals, and taste can all influence emotional responses and memory.
She also strongly believes that Homeopathy can serve as a gentle and effective mode of treatment in various psychiatric and emotional conditions, particularly anxiety disorders, panic disorders, trauma-related conditions, chronic stress, emotional imbalance, and anger management. Her approach integrates emotional understanding with individualized healing, focusing not only on symptoms but also on the emotional experiences underlying them.
This understanding eventually led her to develop her own psychological concept known as the AVT Technique, or Apple vs Tomato Technique. The model is based on the idea that people do not react to situations directly, but rather to the emotional and sensory associations their nervous system has attached to those situations. Through this work, she aims to better understand how individuals process reality through visual, auditory, tactile, smell-based, and taste-related emotional experiences.
Her greatest inspiration has always been her parents, especially her father, who encouraged her to build strong foundations in medicine and learning. As a woman in a demanding field, she often encountered the stereotype that emotional sensitivity is a weakness. However, her experience in psychiatry taught her the opposite. She believes empathy, emotional awareness, and sensitivity are among the greatest strengths when it comes to healing and understanding another human being.
Beyond her professional work, she continues to study psychology, trauma, neuroscience, emotional conditioning, and sensory processing. Her message to aspiring professionals is simple: never underestimate your curiosity, emotional depth, or individuality.
For Dr. Charmie Jhaveri, success is not measured only through achievements or titles. It lies in creating emotional impact, making people feel understood, and helping them feel psychologically safe in a world where many silently struggle within themselves.

Today, the clinics collectively manage a daily OPD of more than 30 to 40 patients, reflecting the trust and confidence patients have placed in his work and team.
Building and scaling a healthcare brand in such a short period came with its own challenges. Yet, for him, the most rewarding part remains seeing patients leave the clinic with renewed confidence and satisfaction.
Beyond dentistry, he is also actively involved in social welfare initiatives through the Dr. Kumar Kashyap Health & Welfare Foundation, which focuses on supporting underserved communities and making healthcare more accessible to those in need. He strongly believes healthcare should never be limited by accessibility or financial barriers.
Alongside his clinical work, he is passionate about content creation and digital media. Through social platforms, he shares educational content, documents his entrepreneurial journey, spreads healthcare awareness, and connects with young professionals and wider audiences beyond the clinic environment.
For Dr. Kumar Kashyap, success is not measured only by numbers or expansion, but by the impact created through service, trust, and meaningful relationships. His journey continues to be driven by consistency, purpose, and the vision to create healthcare experiences that truly make a difference.

What fascinated her most was the ability of physiotherapy to not only reduce pain but also restore function and improve overall quality of life. Over time, this curiosity developed into a strong passion for musculoskeletal rehabilitation and patient centered care.

Dr. Anshul Gupta, Researcher, Author, Leadership consultant, Founder -TheCorporateSpirituality.com

Dr. Anshul Gupta is a researcher, author, leadership consultant, and the founder of TheCorporateSpirituality.com, a platform dedicated to transforming workplace culture through the principles of spirituality, ethics, and human-centered leadership. Her work focuses on helping organizations create environments where people thrive, engagement improves, and business performance is strengthened through meaningful values.
Her journey began after years of working in people management, where she observed that even organizations with the best HR policies often struggled with employee engagement and organizational commitment. Despite advanced systems and processes, something fundamental was missing—the human connection. This realization inspired her doctoral research and eventually led her to explore workplace spirituality as a new dimension of human resource management.
Returning to the corporate world after completing her doctorate, Dr. Gupta found that the challenges had only intensified. She observed a growing disconnect between employees and employers, with relationships increasingly driven by transactional, checklist-based approaches rather than trust, purpose, and shared values. Determined to address this gap, she authored The Spiritual Indian Corporate, introducing the concept of Spiritual HRM, followed by The Corporate Spirituality: Models, Measurements, Challenges, Ethics and Answers, which provides practical frameworks for organizations seeking to build value-driven workplaces.
To translate these ideas into real-world impact, she founded TheCorporateSpirituality.com, where she partners with organizations to implement workplace spirituality as an organizational development and cultural transformation initiative. Through leadership development programs, certifications, consulting, and individual coaching, she helps businesses foster ethical leadership, stronger employee engagement, and sustainable organizational growth.
Throughout her journey, Dr. Gupta has drawn inspiration from several mentors, while deeply admiring Dr. Kiran Bedi for her courage, integrity, and unwavering commitment to creating positive change through leadership and public service.
Beyond her professional work, she enjoys oil painting, writing poetry, and experimenting with innovative cooking, pursuits that allow her to express creativity and maintain balance.
Her message to aspiring entrepreneurs is rooted in conviction: a business succeeds or fails on the entrepreneur’s belief in their vision. Challenges are inevitable, but opportunities for growth always exist for those willing to persevere.
For Dr. Anshul Gupta, success is not measured solely by business milestones but by the positive impact created in people’s lives. Through TheCorporateSpirituality.com, her mission is to help organizations build workplaces grounded in trust, purpose, and ethical values—because better workplaces ultimately create a better society.

Success in dentistry is measured by far more than clinical expertise—it is reflected in the ability to transform lives through compassionate care, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to oral health. Across India, a new generation of dental professionals is redefining the standards of patient care by embracing advanced technologies, evidence-based treatments, preventive dentistry, and personalized solutions. Their dedication is not only creating healthier smiles but also shaping the future of the country’s healthcare ecosystem.
In this special edition, Mumbai Uncensored celebrates ten exceptional dental professionals whose inspiring journeys exemplify excellence, leadership, and service. From pioneering cutting-edge procedures and mentoring the next generation of dentists to advancing research, community outreach, and patient education, these visionaries are making a lasting impact on the field of dentistry while setting new benchmarks for quality, ethics, and innovation across India.
Dr. Harleen Gandhi Kalsi, Founder – Meraki Dental Studio

Dr. Harleen Gandhi Kalsi is an aesthetic dentist, educator, entrepreneur, and founder of Meraki Dental Studio in New Delhi. With a philosophy rooted in clinical excellence and personalized care, she has dedicated her career to helping people rediscover confidence through beautiful, healthy smiles.
Drawn to the unique blend of science, artistry, and human connection that dentistry offers, she found her calling in a profession that transforms not just oral health, but self-esteem and quality of life. Over the years, she has expanded her role beyond patient care, mentoring fellow dentists and contributing to the profession through lectures and educational programs.
Her journey has been one of courage and perseverance. Coming from a small city and moving to Delhi after marriage, she entered one of the country’s most competitive markets without the advantage of a medical background or established network. Beginning her career in a corporate dental chain before transitioning into private practice, she eventually took a leap of faith and founded Meraki Dental Studio in 2016.
The path was far from easy. Three clinic relocations, the uncertainty brought by two COVID lockdowns, and the challenges of building a brand from scratch tested her resilience. Yet, every obstacle strengthened her conviction and helped shape Meraki Dental Studio into one of India’s trusted destinations for aesthetic dentistry.
One of her greatest inspirations is the iconic artist Frida Kahlo, whose courage and authenticity taught her the power of turning adversity into strength. As a woman entrepreneur and mother of twins, balancing the demands of family and a growing practice often felt overwhelming. Those experiences, however, taught her adaptability, patience, and the importance of a strong support system.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Harleen is passionate about education and travel. She regularly conducts workshops and lectures in aesthetic dentistry and aligner therapy, finding immense fulfillment in sharing knowledge and helping young professionals grow.
Her message to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple: stop waiting for the perfect moment. Start with what you have, trust the process, and keep showing up consistently. Success, she believes, is not about perfection but persistence.
For Dr. Harleen Gandhi Kalsi, the greatest reward lies not in accolades, but in seeing patients smile with confidence, empowering fellow dentists, and inspiring others to pursue their dreams with courage and conviction.

Building a dental clinic from the ground up came with its share of challenges, but every satisfied patient and every smile restored has reaffirmed her purpose and passion for the profession.
Her greatest source of inspiration has always been her family, whose unwavering support gave her the confidence to pursue her dreams. Like many women entrepreneurs, she has had to balance the responsibilities of managing a growing practice while maintaining her personal and family life. There were moments of uncertainty and self-doubt, but resilience, determination, and an unwavering focus on her goals helped her overcome every obstacle.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Gundawar is passionate about promoting oral health awareness and educating patients about preventive dental care. She also values the management and communication skills she gained through her corporate experience, applying them to create a positive patient experience and an efficient, collaborative work environment. Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, believing that a healthy work-life balance enables her to care for her patients with greater energy and empathy.
Her advice to aspiring entrepreneurs and healthcare professionals is simple yet powerful: believe in yourself, keep learning, and never let fear stop you from taking the first step. Success is built through consistency, patience, and the courage to keep moving forward despite challenges. Every small effort brings you one step closer to your dreams.
For Dr. Ashwini Gundawar, success is measured not by milestones alone but by the positive impact she creates in the lives of her patients. Every smile restored, every fear overcome, and every patient who leaves her clinic with renewed confidence reminds her why she chose dentistry. As she continues to grow both personally and professionally, her mission remains unchanged—to serve her community with compassion, integrity, and a commitment to creating healthier, happier smiles.

Years of specialized training and experience have allowed her to embrace advancements in assisted reproductive technology while keeping empathy and individualized care at the center of her practice. For Dr. Virk, IVF is not merely about science; it is about guiding couples through hope, heartbreak, resilience, and ultimately, the joy of parenthood.
She draws inspiration from three pillars in her life: her mother, her father, and her faith. Their values taught her compassion, resilience, discipline, and the belief that medicine often stands at the intersection of science and miracles. As a woman in a demanding field, balancing surgery, patient care, leadership, and family responsibilities has not always been easy. Yet, every challenge has strengthened her belief that empathy is not a weakness, but rather one of the greatest strengths a doctor can possess.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Virk is a mother to two young children and shares both her profession and life with her husband, who serves as the Embryologist and Lab Director at Virk Fertility Services. Together, they work as partners in creating families while balancing the beautiful chaos of parenthood and running a hospital. Motherhood, she says, has made her an even more compassionate physician, constantly reminding her of the dreams her patients are fighting for.
Her message to aspiring professionals and entrepreneurs is simple: success comes through hard work, dedication, and an unwavering belief in oneself. There will always be difficult days, but purpose is greater than pressure. Keep showing up, keep working when no one is watching, and never lose faith in your potential.
For Dr. Neha Goel Virk, the greatest reward lies in witnessing hope transform into life and helping families experience the joy they once thought impossible.
Dr. Harsh Singh, ENT & Head & Neck Cancer Surgeon

Dr. Harsh Singh is an ENT and Head & Neck Cancer Surgeon dedicated to providing advanced surgical care while placing compassion and patient well-being at the center of his practice. With a deep interest in head and neck oncology and otology, he believes that every successful surgery is not just a medical achievement but an opportunity to restore health, confidence, and quality of life.
His inspiration to pursue medicine began in childhood after learning about the life and legacy of Dr. B.C. Roy, whose contributions to Indian healthcare left a lasting impression on him. Encouraged by his uncle, Dr. DharmRaj Singh, a surgeon in Allahabad, and driven by a fascination with biology and the human body, he set out on a journey that would eventually lead him to surgery.
Dr. Singh completed both his MBBS and Master’s in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) and Head & Neck Surgery from Dr. D. Y. Patil University, Pune. Throughout his training, he discovered that the operating room was where he truly belonged. Passionate about surgery, he continues to view medicine as a lifelong journey of learning, where every patient brings a unique story that enriches both his clinical expertise and personal growth.
His career has been shaped by inspiring mentors who nurtured his curiosity and encouraged him to strive for excellence. During his medical training, he also found great fulfillment in teaching and mentoring junior doctors, experiences that strengthened his communication skills and reinforced his commitment to continuous learning.
Like every young doctor, Dr. Singh faced the demanding challenges of medical education and the realities of clinical practice. He believes that successful patient care extends beyond diagnosis and treatment—it requires understanding each patient’s emotional, social, and financial circumstances while maintaining empathy, professionalism, and ethical practice. Another defining chapter of his journey came when he moved from Pune to Varanasi to be closer to his family, embracing the challenge of rebuilding both his personal and professional life in a new city.
Outside medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music, and exploring the cultural richness of Varanasi. Whether walking along the ghats, visiting temples, or experiencing the city’s vibrant heritage, he finds inspiration in its timeless spirit.
Dr. Harsh Singh’s advice to aspiring doctors is simple: remain patient, stay committed, and never lose sight of the human side of medicine. Clinical knowledge is essential, but empathy, honesty, and integrity are what truly define a great physician. For him, success lies not only in performing complex surgeries but in earning the trust of every patient and making a meaningful difference in their lives.

Dentistry was her childhood dream, inspired by her passion for both healthcare and art. She believes that learning is a lifelong process and continuously upgrades her knowledge to provide the latest evidence-based dental and cosmetic treatments.

Her professional journey has been defined by hard work, consistency, and an uncompromising commitment to excellence. After completing her MBBS (2009–2015), she pursued her postgraduate training in Ophthalmology (2015–2018) before undertaking advanced super-specialty fellowship training under the internationally renowned ophthalmologist Dr. Sri Ganesh in Bengaluru (2020–2021). Returning to her hometown of Ahmedabad, she established her own practice and later co-founded Nikol Eye Care and LASIK Centre, marking a significant milestone in her entrepreneurial journey.
Dr. Shah provides comprehensive eye care with a strong emphasis on ethical patient counselling and individualized treatment. Her core areas of expertise include modern phacoemulsification cataract surgery and advanced refractive procedures such as PRK, LASIK, SMILE, SILK, and Phakic IOL (ICL) surgery, helping patients reduce or eliminate their dependence on glasses while significantly improving their quality of life. She believes that even a ten-minute eye procedure can have a life-changing impact, making her work both professionally rewarding and deeply meaningful.
Her greatest inspirations are her father, who always believed in her abilities, her mentors who shaped her into the surgeon she is today, and women entrepreneurs who successfully balance professional excellence with motherhood. Among the biggest challenges in her journey has been mastering the precision that ophthalmic surgery demands. Every step of every procedure requires exceptional accuracy, and achieving surgical excellence has taken years of dedicated practice. Today, after performing thousands of successful surgeries, she continues to strive for even greater levels of precision and patient care.
Outside the operating theatre, Dr. Shah enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through gym workouts and running. She also loves travelling, especially with her four-year-old son, and occasionally unwinds with a joyful dance session.

She believes consistency and hard work have no substitute, and that every doctor should remember the higher purpose behind treating a patient. For Dr. Mamta Saumya Shah, success is measured not only by surgical expertise but by the confidence she restores, the trust she builds, and the lives she changes—one eye and one patient at a time.
Dr. Monika Bansal, ENT Surgeon & Founder – Shankari ENT Clinic

Dr. Monika Bansal is an ENT Surgeon and the founder of Shankari ENT Clinic, Surat, a state-of-the-art clinic she built alongside her husband. With advanced clinical training in Rhinology and Sialoendoscopy from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, she is dedicated to delivering specialized ENT care while inspiring young doctors through her remarkable journey of resilience, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to medicine.
As the first doctor in her entire family, Dr. Bansal’s path to medicine was entirely self-made. Without guidance, coaching, or a medical background to rely on, she pursued her father’s dream with determination. She cleared both the NEET-UG and NEET-PG examinations in her first attempt, securing a two-digit rank in Gujarat. During her academic years, she also distinguished herself by becoming the only student from Gujarat to qualify the prestigious KVPY examination, earning an opportunity and scholarship to pursue research at IISER Bengaluru. Despite this achievement, she chose to follow her true passion—medicine.
Her greatest inspiration has always been her father, whose dream became her purpose. Throughout her journey, however, she encountered challenges that extended far beyond academics. Living away from home meant travelling alone, facing unsafe situations, and learning to navigate an unfamiliar world with courage. During medical college, she experienced social isolation after being ostracized and betrayed by a close group of friends, which led to severe anxiety. Rather than allowing those experiences to define her, she found the strength to start afresh, rebuild her confidence, and remain steadfast in pursuing her goals.
Residency brought another set of hurdles. Without family connections in the medical profession, she often had to work harder than others to earn surgical opportunities. She recalls facing bias and discouragement from some seniors, yet refused to let those experiences diminish her confidence or her passion for surgery. She remained determined to prove herself through hard work, knowledge, and skill.
Perhaps the greatest test of her resilience came during her second year of postgraduate training when she met with a devastating road accident while rushing to attend an emergency. She sustained fractures of both her femur and humerus and spent nearly a year recovering. Even while walking with the support of a walker, she continued attending the operating theatre whenever possible, determined not to let the accident derail her surgical training. Once recovered, she worked tirelessly to regain the experience she had missed, emerging stronger than ever.
Outside her profession, Dr. Bansal enjoys painting, gardening, singing, and dancing—creative pursuits that help her maintain balance amidst the demands of surgery.
Her message to aspiring doctors is both heartfelt and empowering: never quit because others expect you to. Success belongs to those who remain steadfast despite setbacks. She encourages young professionals to understand not only medicine but also human psychology, develop emotional resilience, remain humble, and never allow hardship to change their values or character. According to her, a strong belief system and unwavering integrity are just as important as academic excellence.
For Dr. Monika Bansal, success is not defined by ranks, degrees, or achievements alone. It lies in rising every time life knocks you down, staying true to your purpose, and using your journey to make the path easier for those who follow. Guided by the unconditional support of her parents and brother, and driven by an enduring love for surgery, she continues to heal patients while mentoring and motivating the next generation of doctors to pursue their dreams with courage, compassion, and resilience.

Alongside her clinical training, she has developed a strong interest in research, authoring 10 research and review papers published in national and international journals—an accomplishment that reflects her commitment to evidence-based dentistry and continuous learning.

As someone just beginning her professional journey, she feels fortunate to have received constant support, allowing her to focus on learning, growing, and building a strong foundation for the future.
Beyond clinical practice, she has recently ventured into content creation, using social media to spread dental awareness and simplify academic concepts for students. She also shares glimpses of her life as a young dentist and plans to document her postgraduate journey, making dental education more accessible while inspiring aspiring healthcare professionals.
Her advice to young professionals is rooted in authenticity: skills can be acquired, but consistency, kindness, and integrity are what truly define success. She encourages aspiring dentists to stay curious, embrace lifelong learning, avoid comparisons, and trust the process, believing that every patient, every examination, and every challenge contributes to building a meaningful career.

Dr. Rachit Jain is an ENT Surgeon from Jaipur whose journey is a testament to perseverance, discipline, and the unwavering belief that consistency can transform dreams into reality. For him, becoming a doctor was never just a career choice—it was the fulfillment of a dream his parents had cherished for years.
His path to medicine was anything but conventional. From being an average student in Class 12 to earning admission to one of India’s premier medical institutions, JSS Medical College, Mysore, for his undergraduate studies, Dr. Jain proved that determination can overcome even the greatest challenges. He later pursued his postgraduate training in ENT from a Government Medical College, where the rigorous academic environment and internship further strengthened his clinical expertise and passion for patient care.
The greatest influence in his life has always been his mother. She had aspired to become a doctor herself but was unable to pursue her dream due to limited resources and the lack of proper guidance. Her sacrifices and unwavering faith continue to inspire him every day.
Throughout his medical journey, Dr. Jain has learned that success is never instantaneous. As an ENT surgeon, he believes medicine is a profession built on continuous learning, precision, empathy, and integrity. Every patient interaction reinforces his commitment to delivering ethical, evidence-based care while making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
His advice to aspiring doctors is simple yet profound: consistency is the key. Rather than seeking overnight success, focus on improving every single day. As he says, “Just focus on doing good, and with consistency, good eventually becomes better.”
For Dr. Rachit Jain, success is not measured by degrees or titles alone but by remaining true to the values that inspired his journey. Every milestone he achieves is a tribute to his parents’ unwavering belief, his mother’s unfulfilled dream, and the conviction that persistence, hard work, and dedication can turn even the most ordinary beginnings into extraordinary achievements.
