Dr. Garima Goel Kaushik, Micro-Endodontist, Restorative Dentist, & Smile Designer – Asya Dental & Aesthetic Clinic

WhatsApp Image 2026 08 08 at 1.16.59 PM

Dr. Garima Goel Kaushik is a Micro-Endodontist, Restorative Dentist, and Smile Designer practicing at Asya Dental & Aesthetic Clinic, Mohali. Passionate about conservative and precision-driven dentistry, she specializes in complex root canal treatments, restorative dentistry, and smile designing. Her philosophy is simple yet powerful: preserve as much of the natural tooth as possible. By combining advanced technologies such as dental operating microscopes, CBCT imaging, and digital workflows with meticulous clinical expertise, she focuses on delivering treatment that is precise, minimally invasive, and biologically sound.

Her fascination with dentistry stemmed from its unique blend of medicine, artistry, and precision. What captivated her most was the intricate complexity of every tooth—how two seemingly identical teeth could require entirely different treatment approaches. This curiosity led her to the field of microscopic endodontics, where she discovered that slowing down, magnifying the field, and respecting the tooth’s natural anatomy could significantly improve outcomes. Today, that philosophy forms the cornerstone of her practice, where preserving healthy tooth structure is always prioritized over unnecessary intervention.

Over the years, Dr. Kaushik has evolved from a young clinician eager to learn into a dentist deeply committed to excellence and thoughtful treatment planning. Every challenging case has reinforced her belief that the most conservative solution is often the most sophisticated one. While she embraces modern technology, she views it as a means to make better clinical decisions rather than an end in itself. Equally important to her is patient education. Through social media and digital platforms, she shares clinical cases, microscopic procedures, and educational content, helping patients understand the science and precision behind modern dentistry while promoting informed decision-making.

Dr. Kaushik draws inspiration from clinicians who relentlessly pursue excellence and from women who have built successful careers without compromising their values. As a woman balancing clinical practice, entrepreneurship, continuous education, content creation, and motherhood, she has experienced the challenges of wearing multiple hats. Rather than allowing these responsibilities to limit her ambitions, they have strengthened her resilience. She believes true confidence comes not from being the loudest voice in the room, but from consistently refining one’s skills and standing firmly behind the quality of one’s work.

Outside dentistry, she enjoys painting, calligraphy, writing, visual design, and creating educational content—creative pursuits that naturally complement her work as a smile designer. Motherhood has also reshaped her perspective, reinforcing the importance of empathy, patience, and creating an environment where patients feel genuinely cared for.

Her advice to aspiring professionals is clear: don’t chase success—chase mastery. Focus on becoming exceptionally good at your craft, invest continuously in your skills, and let the quality of your work define your reputation. For women especially, she believes ambition and compassion, family and career, strength and kindness can all coexist.

For Dr. Garima Goel Kaushik, success is measured not by recognition but by the trust of her patients and the confidence they gain through thoughtful, conservative care. Her vision is to build a reputation founded on precision, honesty, and preservation—transforming smiles one tooth, and one patient, at a time.

Dr. Ruchika Kulkarni, BDS General Dentist, Founder – Dentocare Multispeciality Dental Clinic

WhatsApp Image 2026 08 11 at 7.03.21 PM

Dr. Ruchika Kulkarni is a BDS General Dentist with 10 years of experience and the founder of Dentocare Multispeciality Dental Clinic in Pune. Coming from a family of dentists in Nagpur, dentistry was a childhood dream for Dr. Ruchika. What began as an early fascination with the profession has evolved into a fulfilling career centred around creating healthy smiles, building patient trust and providing ethical dental care.

Her professional journey began in 2016 as an Assistant Dental Surgeon in Nagpur. Those early years were instrumental in developing her clinical foundation—from learning patient communication and assisting in implant cases to overcoming the nervousness that naturally comes with entering clinical practice. Mentorship, curiosity and perseverance helped her gradually grow into the clinician she is today.

Marriage brought her to Pune in 2018, where she faced the challenge of starting afresh in a new city. As a relatively new practitioner in a metropolitan environment, finding the right opportunities was not easy. Eventually, she took on the responsibility of managing an entire corporate dental chain. What initially felt overwhelming became an important leadership experience, and through her efforts, she helped improve the department’s output by 53%.

She later took the entrepreneurial leap of establishing her own clinic during the COVID-19 pandemic—a particularly challenging time to start any healthcare practice. Despite the uncertainties, she remained committed to building Dentocare steadily and ethically. The clinic has since grown through patient trust and consistent work, with Dr. Ruchika having treated more than 800 patients at her own practice. She also remembers starting with around 40 orthodontic patients in the first year of the clinic, a milestone that gave her confidence that the practice was gradually finding its place.

Her greatest inspirations are her parents and family, who have supported and guided her throughout her journey. Beyond clinical dentistry, she is passionate about educating patients about oral hygiene, preventive care and the importance of maintaining healthy oral habits. Community service and social work are also important parts of her life, reflecting her belief that healthcare professionals have a responsibility beyond the clinic.

Outside dentistry, Dr. Ruchika enjoys travelling, yoga, painting, dancing and exploring wildlife. These interests provide a balance to her professional life and allow her to continue exploring her creative and adventurous side.

Her message to aspiring dentists is to remain true to themselves, work hard while thinking smart, and never stop upgrading their skills. She believes young dentists should focus not only on clinical excellence but also on educating society about oral health, maintaining strong ethical values, communicating effectively with patients and embracing modern technology.

For Dr. Ruchika, success is ultimately measured through the smiles she creates. The greatest reward is seeing a patient complete treatment with a healthy, satisfied smile and knowing that she has made a meaningful difference. Her journey from Nagpur to Pune, from assisting in clinics to managing a dental chain and eventually building her own practice during a pandemic, is a testament to her belief that challenges can become stepping stones when met with perseverance and faith in one’s potential.

Dr. Mehul Khakharia, Orthodontist, Implantologist, Founder – Madhav Dental

IMG 0787.JPG

Dr. Mehul Khakharia is an Orthodontist, Implantologist, and the Founder of Madhav Dental, Jamnagar, a centre that has become synonymous with ethical dentistry, advanced technology, and patient-first care. Alongside his wife, Dr. Swati Khakharia, he has transformed a humble beginning into one of the largest and most technologically advanced dental hospitals in the Saurashtra and Devbhoomi Dwarka region.

His journey began with a simple dream—to become a doctor and serve society. Raised in a humble family, Dr. Khakharia completed his schooling in a government school, where financial constraints were a constant reality. Recognizing his potential, his teachers voluntarily offered him free tuition classes, a gesture that would change the course of his life. Although he secured fifth rank in his school, he narrowly missed admission to MBBS. Rather than viewing it as a setback, he embraced dentistry and joined the Government Dental College & Hospital, Jamnagar, a decision he now believes shaped his true calling.

After completing his BDS, he worked for a year to finance his postgraduate education, combining his savings with a bank loan to pursue an MDS. Returning to Jamnagar, he spent years consulting across multiple clinics before, on 6th March 2005, he and his wife established Madhav Dental with a clear vision—to provide world-class, ethical dental care under one roof.

Over the past two decades, that vision has grown remarkably. Madhav Dental became the first ISO-certified dental hospital in the entire Saurashtra and Kutch region, the first clinic in the region to install an in-house OPG , and later the first to introduce an in-house CBCT system. Today, it is the largest dental hospital in Jamnagar and Devbhoomi Dwarka district, equipped with six state-of-the-art dental chairs, advanced digital technology, world-class sterilization protocols, and a dedicated team of nearly 25 professionals. Despite Jamnagar’s modest population, patients travel from across Gujarat and overseas, drawn by the clinic’s reputation for technology, ethics, and compassionate care.

Dr. Khakharia credits his mother, sisters, and teachers as his greatest inspirations, instilling in him the values of honesty, perseverance, and hard work. Building his practice required financial sacrifices, long working hours, and years of consistent effort, teaching him that lasting success is never achieved overnight.

Beyond clinical practice, he is passionate about spreading oral health awareness through social media. His educational content has reached millions, helping reduce dental anxiety and encouraging preventive care. Away from dentistry, he enjoys adventure sports and is a certified solo paragliding pilot, with plans to pursue a solo skydiving certification.

His message to aspiring professionals is simple: never let your background define your future. Stay ethical, keep learning, dream big, and remain committed to creating value. According to him, success and financial rewards naturally follow those who earn people’s trust.

For Dr. Mehul Khakharia, the greatest achievement is not awards or recognition but the confidence thousands of patients have placed in him over the years. From a government school student with limited resources to building one of the region’s most respected dental institutions, his journey is proof that integrity, perseverance, and compassion can transform not just careers—but countless smiles and lives.

Dr. Ridhima Uppal is the Head Dental Surgeon and Owner of Dr. Ridhima’s Dental Gallery, with 16+ years of experience in dentistry. An MDS in Periodontology and a Fellow in Contemporary Endodontics from D.Y. Patil, Navi Mumbai, she has built her career with a deep-rooted passion for dentistry and an unwavering commitment to continuous learning.

For Dr. Ridhima, becoming a medical professional was never a question. She had wanted to pursue medicine from the very beginning, and dentistry eventually became the field in which she found both purpose and fulfilment. Sixteen years later, her passion for the profession remains as strong as ever. Her journey has been shaped by hard work, perseverance, faith and, above all, the blessings and support of her parents.

Being the daughter of highly educated parents came with its own expectations. Growing up alongside a special sibling also taught her responsibility, resilience and dedication from an early age. As a woman, building a professional identity that stood out within her family was both challenging and deeply rewarding. She believes that being able to fulfil the expectations of her parents while also living up to her own aspirations has been one of the most meaningful part of her journey.

Her greatest inspiration has always been her mother. A strict but deeply supportive parent, her mother taught her an important lesson that continues to guide her: never give up on something you truly want. Looking back, Dr. Ridhima feels that the discipline and direction her mother instilled in her became the foundation for every chapter of her life.

Her commitment to dentistry extends beyond clinical practice. She remains an enthusiastic learner and enjoys reading extensively about different areas of dentistry, constantly expanding her knowledge and keeping herself updated. Outside work, she loves travelling whenever she can, watching movies and comedy shows, and maintaining a disciplined gym routine.

Her message to aspiring professionals is simple: stay consistent and never give up on the life you dream of creating. She believes that success is rarely achieved through one dramatic moment; it is built through showing up repeatedly, even when progress feels slow.

For Dr. Ridhima, success itself is a journey rather than a destination. She does not claim to have reached an endpoint. Instead, she sees herself as someone continuing to build the life and career she has chosen, with the hope that the journey brings her the joy, fulfilment and success she aspires to achieve. For her, the most important thing is to keep moving forward—with passion, perseverance and gratitude.

Dr. Sanket Avhad, Oral & Maxillofacial Prosthodontist

WhatsApp Image 2026 08 13 at 3.25.19 PM edited

Dr. Sanket Avhad is a Prosthodontist with a passion for restoring not just smiles, but also function and confidence. His journey in dentistry has been shaped by a combination of clinical precision, creativity, continuous learning and the belief that every difficult phase can become an opportunity to grow.

After completing his junior college from Ruparel College, Dr. Avhad pursued his BDS from YMT Dental College and later completed his MDS from Yogita Dental College. He chose Prosthodontics because it brings together the aspects of dentistry he finds most rewarding—science, precision, creativity and the ability to create a tangible difference in a patient’s life.

His professional journey has been marked by both achievements and challenges. He has received prizes at national conferences and has two patented designs to his credit, reflecting his interest in innovation beyond conventional clinical practice. He is also deeply interested in digital dentistry and works with digital workflows that allow him to plan cases, design surgical guides and create temporary prostheses using advanced software.

Behind these achievements, however, lies a journey that has demanded resilience. One of the most difficult periods of his career came when he lost both his clinics and faced significant financial stress. Starting again was not easy, but the experience taught him that setbacks do not have to determine the direction of one’s future. It taught him patience, adaptability and, most importantly, the courage to begin again.

Throughout this journey, his family, mentors and patients have remained important sources of inspiration. He is particularly grateful to his mentors, Dr. Pradeep Taide and Dr. Vinayak Shirsekar, whose guidance has contributed significantly to his professional development. His partner, who is also a dentist, has been another constant source of strength. After dating for eight years before getting married, the couple continues to support each other professionally and personally.

Outside dentistry, Dr. Avhad enjoys playing table tennis and the guitar, reading books and keeping himself updated with the latest developments in dentistry through research articles and professional literature.

His message to aspiring doctors is simple: keep learning, remain patient and never allow setbacks to convince you that you have failed. Every professional journey is different, and there is no need to measure yours against someone else’s.

For Dr. Avhad, success is not defined solely by awards, patents or professional milestones. It is also about having the courage to fall, learn from the experience and stand back up. His journey is a reminder that difficult phases do not define a person—the strength, resilience and determination with which they emerge from those phases do.

Specializing in dental implants, gum disease treatment, laser dentistry, smile rehabilitation, and preventive care, she believes that every patient deserves to feel comfortable, informed, and confident from the moment they walk into the clinic.

Interestingly, her inspiration to become a dentist came from her own childhood fear of dental visits. Rather than letting those memories discourage her, she used them to shape her vision of a different kind of practice—one where patients associate dentistry with comfort instead of anxiety. Today, nothing is more rewarding to her than seeing a nervous patient leave with a smile, surprised that their treatment was painless and stress-free.

She has also earned international certifications in implant and laser dentistry while contributing to national and international scientific publications. Establishing Rathi Dental Care remains one of the defining milestones of her career, bringing together advanced technology with ethical, personalized care.

One of the greatest challenges she has faced is changing people’s perception of dentistry. Fear and misconceptions often prevent patients from seeking timely treatment, so she made it her mission to create an environment where empathy, education, and minimally invasive technology work together to build trust. Through patient-centered communication and modern treatment techniques, she has helped countless individuals overcome their fear of dental care.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Rathi is passionate about oral health education. She regularly creates awareness through social media, community outreach programs, and educational initiatives, believing that prevention is the foundation of lifelong dental health. She also enjoys exploring innovative technologies and systems that continually improve patient experience.

For Dr. Shruti Rathi, success is measured not by the number of procedures performed but by the confidence she restores through healthy smiles. Her vision is to make quality dental care more accessible, fear-free, and compassionate, proving that clinical excellence and genuine human connection can go hand in hand. Dr. Arundhati Joshi is a General Dentist specialising in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry and the founder of Baysmiles Dental Clinic at Kemps Corner, Mumbai. Her journey into dentistry was not exactly what she had originally imagined. She had always aspired to become a gynaecologist and even secured admission to an MBBS programme. However, her father had always envisioned her as a dentist, and eventually, dentistry became the profession in which she found her purpose.

Dr. Joshi completed her BDS from Government Dental College, Mumbai, and later earned an opportunity to pursue an MSc in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry at the University of Manchester. Unfortunately, just two days before the course began, health issues forced her to step back. Rather than allowing the setback to define her journey, she continued to pursue her interest in advanced dentistry. With the support of her mother, she successfully completed a fellowship in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry from UCL Eastman, London.

Her professional journey began at Naval Health Station and later took her across multiple private clinics and trusts throughout Mumbai. For nearly 12 years, she worked continuously, gaining experience, building her skills and earning the trust of patients. It was only after this extensive period of professional groundwork that she took the step towards establishing her own practice.

With the encouragement of her husband and brother, Dr. Joshi founded Baysmiles Dental Clinic at Kemps Corner. She believes that building a successful practice is not simply about clinical expertise—it is about honesty, consistency and earning the trust of every patient who walks through the door.

Their influence, along with her own experiences, has reinforced her belief that sincere effort, hard work, passion and skill eventually take you where you are meant to be.

Her journey has not been without setbacks. Losing a year during college due to unavoidable circumstances was difficult at the time, but she now looks back at it as one of the experiences that shaped her resilience. Today, she feels she is exploring many facets of dentistry and is closer to the professional life she once imagined for herself.

Alongside her private practice, Dr. Joshi is also associated with TIFR as a consultant and contributes her expertise to charitable trusts. Dr. Sunita Patel, Physiotherapist

WhatsApp Image 2026 09 13 at 9.19.06 AM

Dr. Sunita Patel is a physiotherapist specialising in pelvic care and women’s health, with a practice that combines clinical care with education. For her, treatment and awareness have to go hand in hand.

Her journey into pelvic health began with a deeply personal experience. After having her baby, she experienced pelvic health issues herself, which led her to discover Kegel exercises and explore the importance of the pelvic floor. One discovery led to another, eventually introducing her to pelvic rehabilitation. The more she learned, the more she felt that this was the work she was meant to do.

She began this journey around 2015, at a time when there were very few educators in India specialising in pelvic floor rehabilitation. With limited guidance available, much of her learning came through self-study, including books, research, articles and online resources. What started with understanding Kegels gradually expanded into learning about pelvic, bowel, bladder and sexual health.

The journey was challenging, but it eventually became both her passion and profession. Her greatest inspiration continues to be the women she meets and the stories they share. She also understands the importance of creating a safe and comfortable environment where women can speak openly about their health.

Beyond her professional life, Dr. Sunita is a mother, wife and family person. She believes success is not only about professional achievements, but also about building a fulfilling life.

Her message to aspiring professionals is simple: follow your dreams, but be willing to work for them. She believes in being “self-full” rather than selfish, making space for personal growth while pursuing professional goals.

For Dr. Sunita, there is no shortcut to excellence. Knowledge comes from learning, confidence comes from experience, and excellence comes from combining the two. Her advice is to keep learning, keep experiencing, never give up on your dreams and keep moving forward.

Her work is driven by a commitment to improving patients’ quality of life while nurturing the next generation of physiotherapy professionals.

Her journey is particularly meaningful because she once sat in the very classrooms where she now teaches. A former student of the institute, Dr. Aarti began her professional journey with a deep interest in healthcare and a desire to make a difference in people’s lives. Although she describes herself as an average and shy student during her school years, her determination, curiosity and willingness to learn gradually shaped her into an accomplished academician and clinician.

Over time, she discovered a passion for orthopaedic physiotherapy and teaching. She realised that her ambitions extended beyond clinical practice to mentoring students, contributing to research and advancing evidence-based physiotherapy. Today, guiding students as they develop clinical confidence, critical thinking and compassion remains one of the most fulfilling aspects of her career.

Research and innovation have also played a significant role in her professional journey. She has published more than 45 research articles in national and international indexed journals and served as Managing Editor of the Indian Journal of Physical Therapy and Research. Her research abstract was also selected for presentation and display at the Massage Therapy Foundation during the AMTA 2026 National Convention in Denver, USA, marking another milestone in her academic journey.

Her contributions include copyrighted physiotherapy protocols and assessment tools such as CERVIDURA for cervicogenic headache, SPARKS for tinnitus and KWAMPS for post-operative oral and maxillofacial rehabilitation. She has also contributed to patented innovations, including a sensor-based knee brace for osteoarthritis assessment and an instrument for assessing and treating trigger points. These initiatives reflect her commitment to translating clinical knowledge and research into practical tools that can advance physiotherapy practice.

Her dedication to teaching and research has earned her the Best Teacher Award (Students’ Choice) as well as the Best Teacher Award by KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research. She has also received the Research Excellence Award from Dr. D. Y. Patil University. For her, these recognitions are not destinations, but encouragement to continue learning, teaching and contributing to the profession.

Behind her achievements lies a strong support system. She credits her family, research guide, Dean Dr. Vijay Kage, and Head of Department Dr. Peeyoosha Gurudut for their guidance and encouragement. Like many women professionals, she has faced the challenge of balancing academic responsibilities, clinical practice, research and personal commitments. Through these experiences, she has remained guided by one principle: never give up.

Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family, painting, exploring new art forms and travelling. She considers her loved ones her source of balance and believes that a good teacher must always remain a student.

Her message to aspiring professionals, particularly young women, is simple: “Believe in yourself, even when you are not the best in the room.” For Dr. Aarti, success is not about being better than others, but about becoming better than who you were yesterday and helping others grow along the way.

Dr. Utsav Parikh, Founder & Director – JUST THERAPY

WhatsApp Image 2026 10 14 at 9.26.31 PM

Dr. Utsav Parikh, Founder and Director of JUST THERAPY, is a physiotherapist, entrepreneur and widely recognised as Gujarat’s first Interventional Physiotherapist. Based in Ahmedabad, his journey has been shaped by an unexpected career choice, a willingness to take risks and a desire to create a different experience in physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

Physiotherapy was never part of his original plan. After completing his 10th standard, Dr. Utsav envisioned a very different future. He wanted to become an automobile engineer, study design at CEPT and eventually pursue an MBA from IIM. However, circumstances led him towards a different path. After 12th, he found himself choosing between becoming a neurosurgeon and a physiotherapist. He chose physiotherapy, a decision he now believes was a redirection towards something much bigger.

He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Khayati Institute of Physiotherapy, Ahmedabad. During his studies, he realised that he did not want to follow a conventional professional route. He began working with reputed organisations and senior professionals, using those experiences to understand the field, identify gaps and determine the kind of practitioner and entrepreneur he wanted to become.

After completing his degree, he started his own practice and continued developing his clinical expertise. His intervention-based training in the UK during 2020–2021 further shaped his approach to patient care. In 2022, he founded JUST THERAPY with a vision that extended beyond establishing another physiotherapy clinic.

The idea was to create a healthcare brand that offered patients greater convenience, professionalism and specialised care. Today, JUST THERAPY has a strong focus on home healthcare in Ahmedabad, providing physiotherapy and rehabilitation services at patients’ doorsteps and at times convenient to them. The organisation has also developed specialised verticals across physiotherapy, rehabilitation, fitness and wellness.

For Dr. Utsav, entrepreneurship has been as much about building an ecosystem as building a business. He believes that professionals do not always need to view one another as competitors and that collaboration can help strengthen the healthcare sector as a whole.

His own journey has involved building credibility, a network, a team and a professional identity from the ground up. There were experiences where people he trusted did not meet his expectations, but those moments taught him independence, resilience and the importance of trusting his own decisions.

Outside his professional life, Dr. Utsav is a cyclist and marathon runner and occasionally plays badminton. He is also deeply interested in leadership, entrepreneurship and developing new healthcare models, particularly opportunities that can take specialised healthcare services beyond conventional markets.

One achievement particularly close to him is his association as a medical partner for marathon events recognised by the London Book of Records and World Book of Records. Yet he defines success more personally: building something from nothing, creating a team he believes in, serving people and continuing to learn.

His message to aspiring professionals is simple: believe in yourself, run your own race and never compare your first chapter with someone else’s nineteenth. Work honestly, keep learning, focus on your own growth and leave the outcome to God.

For Dr. Utsav, the journey is far from complete. JUST THERAPY is not simply his business; it is his attempt to redefine how people experience physiotherapy and contribute to the evolution of healthcare.

Dr. Jhanvi K. Rathod, Physiotherapist & Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT)

Dr. Jhanvi K. Rathod is a Physiotherapist and Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) currently working at Asian Physiotherapy and Research Institute, Surat. A graduate of SPB Physiotherapy College, Surat, her journey into the profession is one of resilience, perseverance and an unwavering refusal to give up.

Until Class 10, Jhanvi was a bright student, consistently scoring between 80 and 90 percent. However, the years that followed brought a series of setbacks she could never have anticipated. From Class 11 and 12 to NEET, GUJCET and her first year of college, she faced more than ten failures across examinations and academic milestones over nearly seven and a half years. Not once during that period did she clear an exam on her first attempt.

There came a point when the repeated setbacks made her consider giving up on her studies altogether. It was then that her family became her strongest support system. They continued to believe in her even when she struggled to believe in herself. Her father, Ketan M. Rathod, played a particularly important role in helping her find a new direction. When she was ready to leave her studies, he secured her admission into Physiotherapy—a decision that eventually changed the course of her life.

Today, Jhanvi looks back at those difficult years differently. What once felt like failure after failure became the foundation of her resilience. She is now actively building her professional identity through clinical work, research, conferences and public awareness. She regularly attends conferences and presents research, while also creating physiotherapy awareness content to make useful information accessible to students and the public.

Her father remains the person she most admires. Ketan M. Rathod taught her lessons that extend far beyond academics—from punctuality and handling important responsibilities to maintaining relationships and treating people with fairness. She recalls how he would often arrive at hospitals and clinics before her while she was applying for opportunities. His consistency and balanced approach to people are qualities she hopes to embody.

Jhanvi also believes strongly in giving back. She has voluntarily worked as an on-field physiotherapist at two state-level powerlifting competitions and a taekwondo competition in Surat, and has participated in a free health camp. These experiences allow her to contribute beyond her regular clinical responsibilities while strengthening her connection with the community.

As a young professional, she is still at the beginning of her journey, but her message comes from personal experience: never give up. Failure, even repeated failure, does not determine where someone will ultimately reach. Sometimes the path demands that you try, fail, learn and try again—more times than you ever imagined.

For Jhanvi, success is still being written. But after everything she has overcome, one thing is certain: she is no longer defined by the examinations she failed, but by the determination with which she kept moving forward.

Dr. Sneha Tiwari, Sports Rehabilitation Specialist, Founder – Momentum Sports Clinic & Sneha Sports Physio Academy

WhatsApp Image 2026 09 07 at 9.35.43 AM

Dr. Sneha Tiwari is a Sports Physiotherapist, Sports Rehabilitation Specialist, entrepreneur and speaker, and the Founder of Momentum Sports Clinic and Sneha Sports Physio Academy. With over seven years of professional experience, her work spans sports rehabilitation, injury prevention, pain management, strength and conditioning, and helping athletes return to their sport stronger and more confident.

Her journey into physiotherapy began with cricket. A cricketer herself, Dr. Sneha represented Hyderabad at the U-16 and U-19 levels as a wicketkeeper and batter. At 18, an ACL injury abruptly changed the course of her sporting journey. Rehabilitation introduced her to physiotherapy and showed her the transformative role it could play—not only in healing physical injuries, but also in rebuilding confidence and helping people return to what they love. What began as a setback eventually became her purpose.

After completing her BPT and MPT, she pursued specialised education in sports physiotherapy and football medicine, along with international certifications and rehabilitation programmes. Her professional journey has since taken her into high-performance sporting environments, where she has worked with athletes and teams including state cricket teams, men’s Ranji and U-23 teams and women’s cricket.

Building Momentum Sports Clinic marked another important chapter. Entrepreneurship demanded an entirely different skill set from clinical practice. Alongside treating patients, she had to learn leadership, finance, branding, marketing, operations, team building and business strategy. Her vision has consequently expanded beyond a conventional clinic: she aims to build a sports rehabilitation, performance and wellness ecosystem that can take people from pain to performance.

Her inspiration comes from people who continue to grow despite adversity, along with the mentors, athletes and patients who have shaped her perspective. As a woman entrepreneur, establishing credibility, making difficult decisions independently and navigating spaces where women can sometimes be underestimated have been challenges. Rather than allowing these experiences to define her, Dr. Sneha has used them to strengthen her identity and let her work speak for itself.

Education is another important part of her journey. Through Sneha Sports Physio Academy, she conducts workshops and educational programmes for students and young professionals. She also speaks at professional platforms, including TEDx and national conferences, and creates educational content to make scientific knowledge around injuries, rehabilitation, recovery and performance more accessible.

Her message to aspiring professionals is to start before they feel completely ready. Skills, knowledge, networks and character are built through action, learning and consistency. For women especially, she believes there should be no hesitation in taking up space and creating an identity of their own.

For Dr. Sneha, her story can be summed up simply: she turned her biggest setback into her biggest purpose. From athlete to physiotherapist, educator, speaker and entrepreneur, every stage has shaped her vision. Success, she believes, is ultimately about impact—helping an athlete return to the field, helping someone overcome pain, inspiring the next generation of physiotherapists or creating better standards of rehabilitation.

And fittingly, Momentum represents more than her organisation. It represents her philosophy: keep moving forward, keep learning and keep creating momentum.

Dr. Adity Pandey (PT), Physiotherapist, Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT), Founder – KiNova Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation

WhatsApp Image 2026 09 21 at 5.25.19 PM

Dr. Adity Pandey (PT) is a physiotherapist, Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) and the Founder of KiNova Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation. Her approach to physiotherapy is centred on personalised, evidence-based care, with an emphasis on helping patients understand their conditions and work towards better movement, function and independence.

Physiotherapy began as a career choice for Dr. Adity but gradually evolved into something she wanted to build her life around. Her professional experience across clinical practice, teaching and a US-based physiotherapy setup gave her exposure to different approaches to patient care and ultimately strengthened her desire to create a practice of her own. Taking a step outside her comfort zone, she invested her savings and independently established KiNova.

Starting a clinic from scratch brought its share of uncertainty. Financial pressures, the responsibility of building a patient base and the constant question of whether the practice would succeed tested her confidence. Rather than allowing those concerns to dictate her approach, Dr. Adity focused on the fundamentals—giving every patient her best, understanding their individual concerns and explaining their condition rather than relying on routine treatment protocols.

Over time, patient results, referrals and word-of-mouth helped KiNova gain momentum. Within its first couple of months, the clinic was seeing around 20 patients a day, a milestone that gave Dr. Adity confidence that the foundation she was building was beginning to take shape. Yet, she remains grounded about the journey and considers herself a work in progress, with much more to learn and accomplish.

Her sister, Mishti Pandey, a YouTuber, has been a major source of inspiration. Watching her create an independent identity through consistent work taught Dr. Adity the value of believing in herself and staying committed to her goals. Her friend Nikhil Singh has also been an important source of encouragement, particularly during the more challenging phases of building the clinic.

As a woman entrepreneur, one of her biggest challenges has been learning to trust her own decisions. Building a business brings financial and emotional pressure, and moments of self-doubt are inevitable. For Dr. Adity, however, those moments have ultimately strengthened her confidence and resilience.

Beyond clinical practice, she creates content around physiotherapy, rehabilitation and professional life, while particularly enjoying interactions with students and young physiotherapists.

Her message to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple: don’t wait for everything to be perfect before you begin. Take calculated risks, keep developing your skills and give yourself time to grow. Most importantly, do not compare your beginning with someone else’s success.

Dr. Adity does not consider herself “successful” yet. For her, success is found in the smaller milestones—seeing a patient improve, earning someone’s trust and knowing that she built something of her own. KiNova, she believes, is only the beginning.

Dr. Jagjit Singh Malik, PT, Chief Physiotherapist

IMG 7459.JPG

Dr. Jagjit Singh Malik, PT, is a Chief Physiotherapist with more than 19 years of clinical experience, specialising in complex and challenging cases. With a Master’s in Hospital Administration, a Master’s in Sports Physiotherapy and a Doctorate in Chiropractic Sciences, his career reflects a constant pursuit of clinical knowledge, entrepreneurship and professional growth. Today, he runs seven physiotherapy clinics across different hospitals, along with two charitable physiotherapy clinics focused on making quality care more accessible.

Interestingly, physiotherapy was not the profession he originally imagined for himself. As a child, Dr. Jagjit dreamed of being part of the film industry. He wanted to perform, create and connect with people, but growing up in a strict family environment meant that pursuing that dream did not seem possible. He eventually entered the medical field and became a physiotherapist. What initially felt like a departure from his childhood ambition gradually became a journey of discovering a different kind of stage.

Over the years, Dr. Jagjit built a career that extended beyond clinical practice. His entrepreneurial journey also took him into the fitness industry, where he established three fitness clubs. While two ventures faced losses, he chose to continue. His determination eventually led to Endurance Fitness Club in Sonipat, which he ran from 2013 to 2019. The venture became a significant milestone, developing into a prominent fitness destination and introducing one of the early CrossFit sections in North India.

Fitness brought him recognition, while physiotherapy gave him purpose, respect and a professional identity. Through years of clinical work, entrepreneurship and content creation, he has also built a community of more than 1.11 lakh followers. Yet he considers his patients, family and professional journey equally important milestones.

Dr. Jagjit describes himself as his own inspiration. His ambition, he says, has always come from within. He has faced failures, business losses and difficult phases, but has never allowed temporary setbacks to define him. Instead, each challenge became an opportunity to learn, adapt and work harder.

Beyond his clinical responsibilities, he is passionate about educating fellow healthcare professionals. He conducts workshops and training programmes across India, sharing his knowledge and experience in High-Velocity Low-Amplitude (HVLA) thrust techniques and chiropractic sciences. For him, professional success also means contributing to the growth of others.

His philosophy is straightforward: give your best to whatever you choose to do, stay serious about your dreams and remain committed even when circumstances become difficult. He believes that hard work can get you started, smart work can take you further, but the courage to continue when things fall apart is what ultimately shapes a meaningful life.

Dr. Jagjit may not have entered the film industry as he once dreamed, but he found his own platform through healthcare, fitness, education and content. His journey is a reminder that sometimes life changes the destination without taking away the dream of creating something extraordinary.

Dream it. Believe it. Work for it. Achieve it.

Dr. Divyansha Gehlot, Consultant Physiotherapist, Founder – Chill with Cure Physiotherapy Clinic

WhatsApp Image 2026 09 14 at 7.53.05 PM

Dr. Divyansha Gehlot is a Consultant Physiotherapist and the Founder of Chill with Cure Physiotherapy Clinic in Jodhpur, which she established in 2025. For her, physiotherapy is not simply about treating pain. It is about helping people understand their bodies, improve movement and become active participants in their own recovery.

Her fascination with the medical field naturally drew her towards physiotherapy. What appealed to her was the profession’s emphasis on movement, exercise, awareness and patient participation. She describes herself as an ordinary student rather than a topper or gold medallist, but her journey has always been driven by sincerity, curiosity and a genuine desire to learn. Most importantly, she has remained committed to listening to her patients and giving each of them her best.

After completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur, she began her professional journey with the mindset of continuing to grow. Her internship became an important turning point, making her more serious about the profession and strengthening her desire to contribute to physiotherapy beyond clinical practice.

This also led her towards digital education. She began creating physiotherapy-related content on Instagram, initially with a simple intention: to use her knowledge to educate people and make useful information more accessible. Rather than chasing instant growth, she focused on consistency, continuously working on fresh and meaningful content. Over time, her digital presence grew organically and opened new opportunities, becoming another extension of her professional identity.

Her biggest inspiration is her mother, whose strength, fearlessness, positivity, honesty and willingness to help others have deeply influenced her. From her, Dr. Divyansha learned to remain positive during difficult circumstances, approach challenges with strength and retain the intention to help others.

As a young woman building her professional identity, she has also experienced the challenge of being underestimated or facing preconceived notions about what she can achieve. Her response has been to remain confident, work sincerely and allow her actions and results to speak for themselves. She believes ambition and compassion can coexist, and that strength does not require compromising femininity.

Beyond physiotherapy, she values family, meaningful relationships, personal growth and continuous learning. She believes that professional ambition becomes more fulfilling when accompanied by personal wellbeing and balance.

Her message to aspiring professionals is to not let insecurity or early self-doubt define their potential. She encourages people to stop comparing their timelines, embrace opportunities, respect their own progress and remain consistent even when results take time.

For Dr. Divyansha, success is not about reaching a particular position. It is about working with honesty, excellence, consistency and the right intention. Her guiding philosophy remains simple: “Work with excellence; success will follow.” She believes that when intentions are sincere and efforts remain consistent, challenges become lessons and opportunities gradually find their way into the journey.

Republic Day 2027 Honouring Indias Visionary Doctors

As India celebrates Republic Day 2027, the nation honours the vision, dedication and extraordinary contributions of doctors who continue to strengthen its healthcare system and transform countless lives. From advancing medical science and pioneering innovative treatments to expanding access to quality healthcare and serving communities with compassion, these medical professionals exemplify the spirit of service, excellence and nation-building.

“Republic Day 2027: Honouring 10 Visionary Doctors of India” celebrates ten distinguished medical professionals whose expertise, leadership and commitment to patient care are making a lasting difference in the lives of people and contributing to a healthier, stronger and more resilient India.

. Harleen Gandhi Kalsi, Founder – Meraki Dental Studio

IMG 0307.JPG

Dr. Harleen Gandhi Kalsi is an aesthetic dentist, educator, entrepreneur, and founder of Meraki Dental Studio in New Delhi. With a philosophy rooted in clinical excellence and personalized care, she has dedicated her career to helping people rediscover confidence through beautiful, healthy smiles.

Drawn to the unique blend of science, artistry, and human connection that dentistry offers, she found her calling in a profession that transforms not just oral health, but self-esteem and quality of life. Over the years, she has expanded her role beyond patient care, mentoring fellow dentists and contributing to the profession through lectures and educational programs.

Her journey has been one of courage and perseverance. Coming from a small city and moving to Delhi after marriage, she entered one of the country’s most competitive markets without the advantage of a medical background or established network. Beginning her career in a corporate dental chain before transitioning into private practice, she eventually took a leap of faith and founded Meraki Dental Studio in 2016.

The path was far from easy. Three clinic relocations, the uncertainty brought by two COVID lockdowns, and the challenges of building a brand from scratch tested her resilience. Yet, every obstacle strengthened her conviction and helped shape Meraki Dental Studio into one of India’s trusted destinations for aesthetic dentistry.

One of her greatest inspirations is the iconic artist Frida Kahlo, whose courage and authenticity taught her the power of turning adversity into strength. As a woman entrepreneur and mother of twins, balancing the demands of family and a growing practice often felt overwhelming. Those experiences, however, taught her adaptability, patience, and the importance of a strong support system.

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Harleen is passionate about education and travel. She regularly conducts workshops and lectures in aesthetic dentistry and aligner therapy, finding immense fulfillment in sharing knowledge and helping young professionals grow.

Her message to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple: stop waiting for the perfect moment. Start with what you have, trust the process, and keep showing up consistently. Success, she believes, is not about perfection but persistence.

For Dr. Harleen Gandhi Kalsi, the greatest reward lies not in accolades, but in seeing patients smile with confidence, empowering fellow dentists, and inspiring others to pursue their dreams with courage and conviction.

Masaba Gupta, renowned as one of India’s foremost fashion designers, has carved an inspiring path in the industry, overcoming challenges tied to her mixed heritage with unwavering determination. The daughter of veteran actor Neena Gupta, Masaba embarked on her fashion journey at just 19, debuting with a collection at Lakme Fashion Week. Armed with a degree in Apparel Manufacturing and Design, she initially explored the world of dance, earning accolades in college.

Masaba’s innate flair for fashion, coupled with a passionate attitude, led her to recognize her true calling. Balancing creativity, commercial appeal, and functionality, she founded ‘House of Masaba,’ her eponymous label that has garnered widespread acclaim. Breaking barriers, she became the first Indian designer to host a fashion show on Instagram, showcasing her innovative approach.

Despite initial challenges, Masaba’s persistence and creative prowess have seen her collaborate with renowned fashion brands.

Neha Sachde, Aesthetic Dermatologist, Founder – Metamorphosis Clinic

111

Dr. Neha Sachde is an Aesthetic Dermatologist and the Founder of Metamorphosis Clinic, one of India’s leading aesthetic and wellness clinic chains with nine centres across Mumbai and Delhi. A gold medalist in her MD, she has built a brand that combines evidence-based dermatology with cutting-edge aesthetic treatments, creating a trusted destination for skin health and confidence.

Medicine was her first calling, but entrepreneurship became her purpose. While clinical practice gave her the opportunity to transform individual lives, she envisioned something much larger—a platform that could elevate the standards of aesthetic dermatology in India. With that vision, she founded Metamorphosis Clinic, determined to create a space where science, ethics, and beauty coexist. What began as a single clinic has steadily grown into a respected multi-city brand known for delivering safe, personalized, and medically driven aesthetic care.

Over the past decade, Dr. Sachde has expanded Metamorphosis one clinic at a time, remaining committed to the belief that aesthetic medicine should always be rooted in scientific evidence rather than shortcuts or trends. Alongside building a successful healthcare enterprise, she has embraced multiple roles as a wife, mother of two, daughter, and entrepreneur, proving that professional ambition and personal life can strengthen rather than compete with each other.

Her greatest inspiration comes from the women she treats every day. Watching patients regain confidence and rediscover self-belief through thoughtful, ethical care continually reminds her why she chose this path. As a woman leading a business at the intersection of medicine, aesthetics, and entrepreneurship, she has often found herself having to establish credibility both as a doctor and as a founder. Balancing the responsibilities of scaling a growing company while raising a family has been demanding, but she believes that building a strong support system is one of the greatest strengths a leader can have.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Sachde is deeply involved in education and professional development through Metaderm Academy, where she trains and mentors young dermatologists, delivers academic lectures and workshops, and writes about skin health, entrepreneurship, and aesthetic medicine. She remains passionate about nurturing the next generation of doctors while contributing to the advancement of the specialty.

Her advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is clear: don’t wait for the perfect moment to begin. Start with what you have, stay consistent, and remember that while innovation may attract attention, it is discipline, integrity, and genuine care that build lasting success. She also encourages women to trust that ambition and compassion can coexist.

For Dr. Neha Sachde, Metamorphosis has never been about vanity—it has always been about confidence. Every treatment, every clinic, and every patient reflects her larger mission: helping people feel comfortable in their own skin while raising the benchmark for ethical, science-led aesthetic care in India.
